  1. So... has anyone else tried this recently on here?  :Emoticons10311:

I've been LOVING the reviews I've seen on another forum but I haven't seen much here.  Just curious.

I found an OLD bottle of one of my test batches that became The Love God and decided to play with it today.  I'll let you know how it goes!  It's a 10 ml roll on oil variant that I'd put 2 sniffees of North Pole into for scent so it is lightly scented but still smells AMAZING.  Going out with friends for a holiday party at an amazing pizza place later and I can't wait to see how well it works (on my bride, especially).

Ahahaha!  I'd forgotten that a friend of mine took my joke about TLG and made a picture out of it.  Just click the link below.

  2. This smells so nice!  I'd found a sniffee of it and had a little on earlier today.  I totally get the clean association with it and thankfully it doesn't turn powdery on me.  My bride is not a fan of anything that could in any universe be potentially construed as being powdery.  I really like the clean yet dirty aspects of this scent!

  3. I cannot believe that 10 years ago on December 16th, this was my first product reviewed.  A LOT has changed in that time.  Excalibur, however is still one of my 4 go to scents.  LP: Homme, UN for Men, LP #9 and Excalibur.  (Honorable mention to Adam's Nectar but that is a limited edition scent).  That is one of the reasons I love Excalibur so much.  I know that I can rely on it still being available.

Oh, and I still get all sorts of compliments on this scent!  A little projects a long way, even with the oil but it is just such a classic green scent that everyone (regardless of age) really seems to love the smell of on me!

@Potion Master Thanks for ten years of helping me to smell amazing!  :Emoticons10311:

  4. So I am feeling pretty craptacular this morning and wanted something to lift me up.  I decided on the spray version of Adam's Nectar.  I LOVE how this scent wears on me but I also find it interesting how the scents really do smell different when they are in a spray from an oil.  I cannot decide which one I like better, the oil or the spray!  Good thing I have this in both so I don't have to choose.

I tried my sample of Unisexy again last night after having put it away several summers ago. I have really been into Perfect Match lately, so I dug through my samples to locate it. After almost 24 hours of wear, I can still detect a faint vanilla musk remaining  on my wrists. I am not sure how I overlooked this gem and almost forgot about it. Upon first applying, it smells a bit masculine with the tobacco and sandalwood, and also a bit powdery.  After about 30 minutes, the vanilla and musk come out and it develops into a beautiful, deep skin scent. I just ordered a spray bottle with PM and a virgin roll on to be able to wear alone or with other pheros - plus, I was able to use the Gratitude coupon for 20% off. Thank you, Mara! :

I'm a fan of Unisexy myself.  I saw your post the other day and decided to wear this last night (my bride was having a rough night).  Mine is boosted with Teddy BB and not only did it help her perk up considerably, I've noticed that this scent is amazing the next day.  I'm still sitting here sniffing myself.

  6. This is still one of my favorite scent/phero combinations from anywhere.  I get so many compliments whenever I wear this scent.  I have it in a virgin unpheroed variety, a spray and a 10 ml oil bottle and it just doesn't matter which version I'm wearing, I get compliments on the scent.  I also see The Love God pheromone blend at work as well.  I LOVE how it affects my bride.  She is much more open and affectionate.

But don't! I'm feeling it. Just yesterday I was playing a card game called Exploding Kittens with my son and his uncle. Uncle said, "Did they have to make the print so small?" I tried to stop him. It makes us sound like dinosaurs. You just keep on with your big font lifestyle.

@Tyvey, in my mind, you have just turned into Lucille Ball.

I would love to see a 2 hour compilation of us all directionally pitching our scents and pheros, all played by old SNL or Taxi-type show cast members. I want Overboard era Goldie Hawn to play me. Who wants to claim another actor/actress? Tina Fey, Gilda Radner, Sarah Silverman, Amy Poehler, Jim Carey, or Bill Murray? Which one of you lovely ladies is Amy Schumer? @Snoopyace, how about if we have a young John Ritter play you? Or whoever plays Phil Dunfey on Modern Family? If Goldie Hawn's not available, then Will Ferrell can play me.

    There ya go!

But the thing is, Mara has already stated at least a year ago that she is no longer attempting dupe-type PE versions of the back catalog because in most cases it's just not possible.

Yes, but an original peach-y scent might not be out of the question.  I prefer to start with an inspiration and add my own twists when I do ask for a scent.

@Snoopyace I think you might just love anything with bergamot!

I don't think I've ever smelled this one, but it's a peachy/fruity floriental? With cream? I would've guessed Empress of Persica if I was on a perfume guessing game show. That's why we have an actual peach connoisseur on deck. Have you smelled Prisma? It's a mango/melon musky, fizzy cream, you might like it. I think it's going to age really well. And Kiss of Nectar is a sweet and musky honeysuckle butterscotch, no fruit though.

Just thought I'd drop in to help/not help. Isn't it awesome when people try to give advice on things on which they have absolutely no knowledge or experience? Like strangers in the supermarket offering parenting advice?

Yup, a peachy floriental.  There is just something about the scent that I LOVE on her.

I describe it as a peaches-and-cream floriental myself.

    Exactly!

Hmmm, I thought maybe there was another floriental-type scent, but I can't think of it off the top of my head.  But nothing really reminiscent of this, I would say.

Yeah.  I was looking through all the available scents I didn’t think I saw anything like it currently.
