  1. thank you for the quick ship and all the goodies as always!!
  2. swoooooon this is so delicious. imagine candied smoke. i know, hard to picture. it's sweeter when wet; after it dries it has a slight saltiness that my nose is probably inferring into the scent because of hickory smoke/bacon etc. Indeed this smoke seems to be similar to the one in sugared bacon. It's surprisingly multidimensional-feeling. I will so enjoy this with EVERYTHING!!!
  3. At first application I got the dreaded plastic fantastic ':( but within a couple minutes that faded and left me with a soft, warm, pink poundcake! more pink than cake so far. It wears very close on me. Oh and heaaaaarrrrts have you seen thiiiiiiis
  4. lmao!! you have the best reaction stories. musk and marshmallow you say? digging mine up now
  5. Darlink, you simply MUST remember these instructions in future, says piggeh to me. I have never once done this properly. I've just bought GCs. Got that in my head from some other unrelated instruction. So sorry!! *SELF ELFED*
  6. Yay, I'll take my sleep tight might, and a sunset kiss too please, thank you!
  7. @rosebud Elderflower and lychee can be in incredibly similar (see eg St Germain liqueur).... I looooove both but was personally put off lychee as a scent due to a bad emotional association.... Maybe sugared lychee ??
  8. Powdery and almost floral but also surprisingly creamy and dense (??) once on the skin. Reminds me a lot of lp silver for some reason. Also the Grown Up Lady blends like Who's That Lady. Another one that gives me no urge to layer- very much a completed thing until itself - but I can't picture a floral that wouldn't be wonderful with it. Esp maybe violet or lavender.
  9. Sparkly, crystalline, makes me think of a single silver bell being rung. A very "signature LP" scent to me as it brings to mind things like spider silk and snow musk. Lasted almost 24 hours! Thought of those of you though who talk about white musk being "piercing"- it doesn't come off that way to me but I can see what you are talking about and you will not enjoy this one. This would be great with cotton or linen ....
  10. I tried this purely based on Mara's recommendation too and it is great. Nothing like what I thought neroli was , at all. It's golden, honeyed, gushing juicy ripeness, very 3D and humid and lush, big bodied, luxurious, with a strong sensual undercurrent. Reminds me of scented Cougar but a little more in-your-face voluptuous. It's very complete on its own, gives me no impulse to layer with anything.
  11. Leather does make me get stuff done but is a little too much gas for me generally. I find BI very motivating.
  12. I wouldn't wear this on its own (too masculine for my taste) but pairing w/ a floral sounds smashing ... esp something heavy-duty fem, like Nosfy rose, or gardenia...
  13. Well also we were at the symphony, so there was that Of your second list, sexiest to me would be Wolf, Eternal Sunshine, and Sandy Bottom.
  14. another female opinion - per your sexiness specification, I would vote Bedeviled and Excalibur I strongly suggest also trying some things with sweet (especially vanilla) and even some florals I know but believe me it can be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sexy. Carnation and violet especially. And it took all my willpower not to jump a stranger, not my type, who I am 1000% convinced was wearing an LP that consists of daisies (DAISIES), vanilla and sugar. oh wait a minute...it only just occurred to me... if he was wearing that, he might very well have been wearing pheros. ANYWAY, THE SMELL WAS SO SEXY I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF.
  15. LOL!! what would you want to try this with??
  16. and I can confirm that there was NO peek-through even much later on! It's always nice discovering things that cover so well, that you would never think would....I remember wondering how on earth the Love Blossom notes would cover the cops in LAM but they did incredibly, and ever since I've made a note "when in doubt, try" because you never know...
  17. Yeah I think so - I think I for one would wear it with EVERYTHING including nonfoodie things...
  18. I was looking for something for a mood lift without pheros as I am feeling like shit. Was looking for The Sun but couldn't find, so put this on instead. Immediately took me to a happy place of course, but here to report that I impulsively smeared on some unCB for no reason and smeared together, and to my great surprise, sandy bottom covered it completely and immediately. I don't know about a few hours from now - sometimes covers burn off a bit and the est swingset pole emerges - but so far, total coverage. Wow! Would never have expected that.
  19. It's one of my favorite fresh flowers - very true to reality I bet? gotta put this on my list!
  20. LFN is relatively quite alpha IMO- if he's at all alpha sensitive / doesn't react well to it as you said, it seems risky. It makes people scurry out of my way like I'm a runaway train. Straight up CB or Bang! sounds like a better choice to me.
  21. Has there been any discussion of a sugared SMOKE? The smoke in (swoon) allumette? I know we have the devastating Bonfire but without the marshmallow I'm thinking, like less gooey and more unisex?
  22. saffron is 100000% right about this being so sleep-y -- it's so snuggly and sumptuous and fuzzy. It really does incredibly vividly evoke white velvet - it's like wrapping yourself in a huge swath of it! The rose is not sugary, pointy, lush, pink, red, or anything else I have ever experienced rose to be -- it's heady, and if it smells like any color it's probably a dusky only somewhat pinky mauve. SO glad I got this.
  23. I didn't know where else to put this so I just want to say, I've tried a dozen or so of these and NOT ONE OF THEM has been the demeter-esque thin linear simple gimmicky thing one would expect from the concept of such a huge # of "sugared fill-in-the-blank-with-a-single-word/idea" set. EVERY one of them - even the most straightforward one i've tried, apple - is a multidimensional full blown beauty in and of itself. Layering is for fun, not necessity. No idea how in the &^#@% you did this many in such a short time... it's like months and months worth of NRs.
  24. Errr I completely forgot about the above experience and review and ordered a bottle of this recently. Maybe I should put on more, or it's aging, but now it smells like chocolatey pot :/ i keep sternly telling my brain-nose, IS HONEY, but to no avail. Fans of I feel fine should check this out....
