It is far more sugary than oily - when you open it, it looks like brown sugar, you know, very slightly wet? - but when you put it on, all the gentle exfoliating goodness is accompanied by more pampering oiliness than you would expect from looking at it. I do not keep "accidentally" getting it into my mouth, but if I did, I would report that it tastes FANTASTIC and it is all I can do not to plunge my head into the jar face first like in a pie eating contest.
