  1. LOL! Scourger, wherever do you find these things...

    1. whipper snapper

What old people, generally your grandparents, call "youngsters". The word is derived from the term "snapping your whip" which means getting a b0n3r. So basically your granddad is calling you a whipper snapper because you can get it up and he can't. The term has been used less frequently since the development of viagra

"You young whipper snappers!! Always sticking your business in places were it doesn't belong!"

zomg...it was just meant as a gentle tease to his apparent youthfulness! ...backs away from the keyboard...tail down...(also had NO idea it had phallic connotations, but in this world really...what does NOT?)

  2. So, I guess the pheremones work? But this blend isn't for me, despite having some lovely roses going on. (Poo. And I did like the art and the name.)

Despair not, o Scourger...I suspect we'll have more Pheros to play with soon here!!

BTW I my cat does the same "sticky" face to almost *everything* I wear except for when I use unprocessed coconut oil -which he tries to lick off. :(

  3. As much as I want to order an entire bottle nownownow, I think I'll wait a week or two until my body chemistry changes.... So as much as I'm a little devastated that I'm almost out, I'm gonna gather some will power from somewhere...until my Love Potion: Black sample comes in the mail. Oh, man.

Good luck...I *never* planned on falling in love with LP Black - I'm just not into "creamy buttery" scents....but...ohman. This one. Sigh.

  4. He has no idea that I wear pheros by the way.....that is the best kind of test subject...... ;)

That brings up a question I've had lately...how many of you out there tell your s.o. if you are using the Phero's? I've been going back and forth about this one (of course it's my Gemini nature) and I'm not sure if

    a) I should keep the secret, thank my luck that it seems to work, or

b ) be honest cuz it almost feels a leeetle bit sneaky to be using them.

    Ladies? Gentlemen?

  5. Wow, this is SO not floral on me! I was going to say it's almost a touch masculine (which is FINE by me, I wore Guerlain's Vetyver and other men's fragrances in the past). I get bold, and herbal, and resinous. Lovely scent I wish my guy might try, too. Gonna have to see how the dry-down develops

  6. Well, Katz, where is the update? Did your sweetie like it?

This is my sweetie's week without his kids, so that means he'll be spending at least a few nights over here. Tonight, I think I'm going to spring this one on him, and see what "pops up"..... :) ok, sorry if that was TMI..... Actually, this week I'm planning on testing all of the new releases on him......a different one each night......I think he is enjoying being a guinea pig.....

Sadly, I had to put it off for the time being...my little furbaby was *out* of it on Sat nite - it's really, really tough trying to get him regulated on insulin -so it was a stressful night. My sweetie deserves a replay of this, cuz he was so understanding and sat by us all evening...maybe even a nice dinner thrown in... ;) Personally I think I'm going to like it as it's not a "dessert" foodie scent, but a yummy one.

  7. I've *JUST* gotten home, torn to the mailboxes and RIPPED open my package to try this! I to got that second's burst of something sharp, but then the rose/chocolate/coffee thing is now goin' on. I must be extra aware of the coffee being such an addict, cause for me it plays up fairly close in strength to the other two. As the sweetie is due over for dinner I'll have to report back later (I'm *hoping* tomorrow :) ) with how this develops. Yum.

  8. Yes, but my son would preferr I wear a dress and not just a scent  He is a funny guy; very, very respectful regarding women. I've raised him so well. Yes, that is a proud mama kvelling (his REAL Bar Mitzvah was this morning, when he donned tefillen and did the blessing and torah reading in our morning minyan... the SHOW Bar Mitzvah is this Saturday, in which he leads services in front of friends and family)

Congratulations Chai...it *is* a proud moment...!

  9. I have to agree with treadpath, I wore this one today and also thought, "Damn I smell GOOD today!"

I've layered it with a "generic" vanilla/must scent...one I enjoy but can be sorta "ho hum" some days. Adding Sugared Ginger definitely kicks it up a notch or two! It's definitely got a warm almost caramel/amber depth to it once it settles on the skin. I think I could layer it with many of my regular scents, for a wonderful combo!

  10. Was SO worth the wait... ;) ...having created, altered, added to and subtracted from my samples list about 5x, I'm folding and doing the whole New Releases Set. I can't believe how cool Romeo & Juliet sound! Great bottle art, great month!

  11. Lol. My partner and I never smell the same in the same scent. I like finding pairings of things that work well together. LP #3 is nifty because they were blended to go together. Of course because our chemistry is so different, they don't match anymore when we wear them. *sigh* (Plus, I like the men's better on me than the women's.) Fortunatley, he's got a nice boozy one from another vendor that I can wear Pirate Bumbo against, and we're working on other pairings.

*Jellus* :) that you have a sweetie who's willing to "pair scents" with you...this for me, remains a dream! My s.o. will occasionally wear scent, but then he only mists it in the air, to land ethereally upon his clothing. Barely perceptible. Not that I mind a natural skin scent...but I'd LOVE to share one, or find some that go well together...sigh.
