  1. Dang it......now you've made me crave a candied apple......a big red sticky one......

    :019-[Drooling]-[EmoticonKing.co

dammit woman!! (actually my fav are the caramel covered w/peanuts...but...six of one...) :003-[Drooling]-[EmoticonKing.co

  2. I demo-ed it yesterday, and enjoyed it very much! It reminds me very much of Mermaids minus the seaside background. Similar cheery fruitiness going on--> :dancingfruits0nm:

I had a *really* low day yesterday - everything going wrong, so I'm not sure it was or ANYTHING would have been up to the task of picking me up. I'm going to wait to see if the usual 'cheery' vibe happens with the Alpha-Androstenol in it next wearing. But purely fragrance wise, it was lovely.

  3. Pony, I had the exact same response to my sample bottle...I swiped it on, "mmm...lovely floral...."....wait....."um, what's that?!"

It went thru this middle period (an experience I'd heard of but never experienced before) where it got UGLY on me...ugly as in Something Went Really Wrong In The Hothouse. Later on it drifted back to a *mostly* innocent floral - (I 'see' the fragrance as a strawberry blonde with curls)...she just kind of looked at me over her shoulder all innocent-like. I'm still not sure we've made nice.

  4. It's like it doesn't taper off into edible sweetness. Instead, it has a nice dark finish to it. Love that because it makes the scent just sophisticated enough that I can wear it anywhere--and not seem like I'm trying to impersonate a cream puff. And by finish, I don't mean the scent goes away, I still have it on and can detect each note. I mean there are like layers to a scent and the top layers are yummy and the bottom layer is almost bitter or woody. Puuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect!

I snipped a bit in the quote - you've got it right there - NOT too sweet, and layers of scent until the end - which is a LONG way away, this one lasted forever on me!

  5. I tried this one last night...I needed it!

I was *supposed* to be doing taxes w/a friend...who first told me we'd meet at 7pm...then paged to change to 7:30...called at 8 to say he hadn't bought the software yet...(and we were supposed to have dinner together too, so I'd been waiting on that as well) I get up at 5:30am so dinner at 9 then taxes? No. Needless to say I was a little frustrated/starving/annoyed... Cheese and crackers then Taxed Potion and to bed.

I'm not a huge Ylang fan, it sometimes hits me the wrong way but this is well-blended with Vanilla and was quite comforting. Thanks Mara!

  6. I've got this sample of Phero Boy Dominance sitting on my desk, staring me in the face, and I keep eyeing it sidelong. I have no men to give it to because every one of them around me is a flaming fundamental Baptist nut, so I don't share my knowledge of LPs with their associated hoodoo.

So what happens when women wear pheros that are formulated for men?

    Darbla

Do it Do it!! I was having the same questions when I first got my Phero Boy/Girl samples...the men's was lookin' at me funny...then Carrie did this review:

which totally sold me on trying it for myself...and it worked! Read up and see what you think...

  7. WOW Mara and Ail! This is incredible! I have to admit I wasn't terribly excited when I first read the ingredient list for this - I was hoping it'd be some kind of oh I dunno...something else... Sometimes the foody blends here only amp one note for me - like LP original. But this is much, MUCH better than that on me...it's vanillabutterymaplespicy (how does a spice note get in here? the Benzoin?)...yet not heavy! I imagined this was one I couldn't wear in the heat of summer but really I think I can. If the sweetie likes this half as much as I do, it's an immediate full bottle! YUM! :yeahthat: I'm huffing my cleavage like a madwoman!

  8. Hi Liz

I have used both Pink Sugar and Boudloir as covers and they work fine. Pink Sugar is pretty but, to be honest, a bit "young" for my tastes. It's fun for Summer though. I've been using Boudoir for years, so I already knew I liked that one.

    Both cover EoW. :thumb_up11:

Sadly 'Boudoir' is almost impossible to get this side of the pond...from one who's sought it out desperately to try... :rainman:

  9. Um... is it me... or does that particular emotion look as if the banana is doing something er... "questionable" to the cow - who looks somewhat startled?

    May :alien_dance:

Well, it's not ONLY you...no~ I had a funny thought or two on that one.

    :2182: whoah....groovy...

  10. Isn't it though? It's one of my favorites for bedtime.....

So funny, for me 11 is the one I turn to for the same reasons...

  11. What addictive substance are you putting in the new phero blends?

    Just kidding, lurkers!;-)

I spend a LOT of time, sniffing my wrists, and have pretty much abandoned the rest of my VERY extensive scent collection! I mean, my perfumes run into the late double or early triple digits, and they are ALL getting ignored!

Pythoness...your song is an oh-too-familiar one to me! I have (blushes here) *boxes* of fragrance that are just sitting under the bed at this point. There *must* be crack in the stuff here. Today, I showered, and determined to use my commercial stash put on an orange blossom based scent (it's orange blossom time in Phoenix and the smell of them literally gets me high!) but a couple hours later I'm eyeing my LPMP bottles thinking, I bet Mermaids would go with this...huh, I wonder if Cougar would too? Crazy!

  12. I think there is going to be a LOT of interest in the girl-girl and guy-guy mixes. At PheroTalk there were frequent questions about which pheros were best for the gay community. I've seen one mix, just one, aimed at gay guys but I have seen nothing at all for the girl-girl demographic.

Admittedly my knowledge of phero products is not exhausted but I think you have identified a massive gap in the market here.

    May

Agreed - when I saw the new offering I thought to myself "Of COURSE! that makes sense...I wonder if they're the first to offer it?"

  13. I am such an addict... as Mara hasn't had time to send out the invoices yet, I'm sitting here thinking about what I NEED to add on! For instance, I just annointed the doorways and windowframes in the house with Ashes to Dust, reducing my bottle by a full-third (lots of windows! BTW, dust first if doing this!) so now I need another bottle....

Let us know how that goes for you Chai, if you see any relief from issues in the house...I've requested a full bottle myself, as a kind of 'safety'...I'd just feel better knowing I've got one around!

I'm just as bad -anticipating in my own way here...I keep checking to see if any of the new 'fume pages have come up yet...sneaky web-surfer that I am...just terrible! :P

  14. Cyclopentasiloxane - 100% Solution

    aka "CPS" or "D5"

For Sale in 1 oz, 2 oz, and 4 oz bottles.

What is this or what is it used for?

This is an unscented, unpheromoned *base* before applying other perfumes...the thought here was a number of people have had issues with their skin 'absorbing' a scent before it has a chance to bloom (like some of the gentler scents, Egg, Angle of Spring, etc.)- this should block the fragrance oils from absorbing quickly into the skin, but allow them to warm from body heat.

    HTH!
