  1. Welcome aboard Vivica! Know what you mean, I was putting together my second order way before the first even arrived...they all have tantalizing descriptions! Don't forget to give some reviews when they come in and enjoy!

  2. :):):):):)

Awww, it sounds like fun! I wish we could! Thank you!

And check this out...we got an email from Gourmet.com (Gourmet Magazine's online zine) asking for a sample for review! Weeeeee!

Yay for you, Mara!! :( that's awesome!

  3. It was only a couple of quid on ebay and as it was white I thought it would be ironic and fun for my holiday, and if the sand and sun wrecks it - at that price it would not be too awful... . :(

    May

If I could find Chococat stuff, I'd prolly have some too...heh.

  4. Don't you DARE run an' hide May! I mean, I've got "Hot Wheels" seat covers on my truck seats (those are a brand of little kids' toy cars)...not to mention I still wear my pink Chucks, and other outrageous age-inappropriate things!! What makes it *better* is I SO Don't Care!

  5. I think our skins are similar May...I can't get much foodie scent to stay...when I tried this I got *very* strong and realistic fruits - and fruits only for some hours...delicious! Way later on I think I caught a whiff of the "baked goods" part later on. Another one that needs the DNL warning label (Do Not Lick).

  6. Since several of you are saying this is coming off light on you, and it is coming off light on me too (of course on Danna, it's overpowering) I am going to amp this one up a bit. I think the dilution mellowed it more than I expected over the weeks that it matured. I'm going to double up the recipe without adding any further dilution, so anything ordered from here on should be quite a bit stronger, ok?

I'll be puttin' it on the Full Bottle list...asap! Guessing though this one won't be a "warm weather" scent for me, no matter *how* much I've fallen for it!

  7. Wow! That's amazing!

By the way... It's snowing here today! Fancy sending some of that sunshine over?

    May

(Currently wearing not just thick socks, but also slippers - it's a bit cold!)

Absolutely - We can split the difference! Going to be 72F here today...too early for real spring.

  8. I'll start the ball rolling. This one is for Katz. It's the library at the Glasgow School of art - Architect Mackintosh. :)

Wow May! Thanks...it's beautiful! We're lucky to have a few bits of Frank Lloyd Wright out here...most important of which is his School of Architecture = Taliesin West

  9. Well...I am 99.9% sure that I am not a) beautiful enough :( mysterious enough to really *wear* this scent...BUT! It makes me want to try!

This is a scent to inspire poetry, gypsy songs, to make men mad with desire! It makes me want to don beautifully colored, daring clothes with *just* the right amount of flesh exposed - scented in these attars which waft from me in waves as I dance! It's a scent to wear and have men come to you, not really knowing why or how they're drawn! It makes me want to have a string of exotic lovers, rooms full of silks and pillows...

This is a scent to wear on a super-special date with the love of your life...swept off in the night to some fabulous restaurant and then some amazing surprise... Perhaps drift off in the moonlight on his sailboat....or whisk away on his private jet to Paris for the weekend.

However, tonight I will be ambling off to the local pool hall, with dreams of far-away places, and yearning in my heart for the lovliness this inspires. At least I put on some eyeliner and lipstick -it deserves that much!

  10. I am taking the exquisite old gent out to lunch on Friday. This is kind of a silly post, but I was touched by how touched HE was by the birthday wishes I read him that were posted or emailed to him for his birthday this month on our various sites. You'd think 60 years of it would leave one jaded, huh? (Hell, 20 years of it has left me so!) But he was genuinely pleased and excited to hear the nice messages and questions, and I suspect it might be fun to bring him some more. It LIGHTS him up! And that makes me extremely happy, to experience him so. (I always have to curb my instinct to want to STEAL him!) Wish I had one of those digital recorders so you could hear him quote Shakespeare - it's a *melting* experience.

Anyone have anything they wish to say or ask?

    xoxoxoxox

Aw, not silly...that's pretty touching. How nice that you get to LUNCH w/him! I spent some time on Google after you posted the birthday mention...so when are those memoirs coming out? No other specific message or question, just best wishes for continued good health and happiness in his life. Have a GREAT time - wish I could be the fly on the wall! ;)

  11. Ok, what if I amp up the phero girl recipe so that it's denser, closer to Sugared Honeycomb? Personally, I really like the orange blossom in there, both for the scent and the magical properties - and I also really like the bee pollen. I had made it a little lighter/brighter than sug honeycomb to make it more universal in appeal. I should have known this bunch would prefer the outright 'smell of sex' rather than a dainty perfume! I could use the same recipe, but make it smell 'heavier' - give it more "KA-POW!". What think you?

THAT sounds absolutley wonderful! I do love the orange blossom - (I'm a HUGE orange blossom fan, and go crazy when the season hits here in town. I drive around at night to the remaining orchards, windows down head hanging out like a doggie!)

  12. but...but...?

ok, I actually COULD make that one again - the recipe wasn't too tough, but you all were saying that you liked Sugared Honeycomb better than Phero Girl, so why do you even want me to make this one again? :D

Not I, said the ...well, you know. I've been able to use both, and tho' I like the Honeycomb, (it is a darker feel) there's *something* about Phero Girl. Heh, maybe for me now, it's "scent memory" ;)

  14. Interesting, Chai! Well, you have MY respect, that's for sure. :)

I want a recommendation too. Is there any pheros that can grant one serenity and patience? (I just got off the phone with my mother!!!!!!!!!)

oh my...SOME days, there's nothing for that but deep breathing and maybe some chamomile tea (spiked??) My sister and I are currently "tiffing"...somehow. Fambly!

  15. Because I'm home doin' nothing ...but posting perhaps... and my package is out there somewhere...I decided to test one from last month I hadn't tried yet. Slather it on, why not? Hrm. Where's the Dirty? Wait...it's pretty...almost floral on me...must be the fruits. Sit outside in the sunset warmth...ok THERE the resins are, aha! Warmed up it's *mucho* more sexy! I like this one, and somehow can see it paired with a big, fat rose accord.

  16.

As for sexiness... if LP Pink is breakfast in bed, and LP Black is a sweaty night club, Green is sex on your lunch break.

firstofall....BLEARGH!! Hoping my package arrives today!!!!

Secondly, I'll have to try this out and mention it to my sweetie...something I've been trying to convince him might be a GOOD THING... :)

    Nice review...
