  1. Ohh Luna TONKA MUSK!! *drool*

I have to admit that I didn't realize this was still available until I checked. Is it part of the permanent collection now? It's not on the sale list.

Thanks Stacy for the tip! My problem is that I'm lazy as sin. That is why I was thinking of maybe splitting a boost between two NoCos (Black and White), because I know one of those would layer well with just about everything I wear regularly. I might end up with an UN though because I do already have many scents that should cover it fine. I keep flip-flopping about it. I have until Thurs (payday) to make up my mind :P

I'm also tempted to just wait on it altogether until PEs reopen after the sale, because I think Tyvey's chewy spice would be my personal ideal cover scent for b2.2, so a rebrew request might be in order (I don't have a virgin bottle). It's just so creamy and comforting all by itself, I think it'd be a good match.

  2. B2.2 is like Valium in bottle for me when I have panic attacks, so I would love to get a LP boosted with it (up til now, I've used it only in unisexy, and just from the phero bleed thru when it's been on for a few hours, I know I do not want it UN lol!!!) I was wondering whether any of the NoCos would cover it decently? I'm fine with eventual bleed thru like I have with the unisexy but would like it to start out well ;) Any other suggestions for cover scents are welcome, too! Thanks in advance!

  3. Thank you so much Cheeseburger, I'm eyeing this one :) My only hesitation is the ambergris, I have no idea what that smells like. The rest of the notes sound right up my alley though.

"Wanderer is Amanda's ode to the great god Odin, crafted of ingredients that she associates with him, some traditional, some a dedication of her own. A base of spicy dragon's blood resin and leaves of the mighty oak, a dash of blond woods, a splash of mead and dark civit honey, and pipe tobacco smoke. Deep and strong and mysterious, this is a scent that both sexes can wear."

This is a unisex PE, but I decided to put its review thread in the men's forum because I think it is genuinely unisex. Mara is the only one anywhere who can actually pull that off to my satisfaction!

I've been wearing it since I got it yesterday afternoon and I'm just absolutely delighted with it. It's everything I hoped it would be. I still don't know by what sorcery I suggest four notes and end up getting perfection :D It all blends together so well that it's hard picking out individual notes. Despite the dragon's blood, it's not "INCENSE!11!!eleven1!" on my skin, though I do think it has a bit of a spicy incense feel. If you have ever burned incense outdoors, Wanderer captures that vibe for me perfectly. (It's really not like burning it in the house, where it's usually all you can smell.)

Even the tobacco note manages to be a team player (something I was a little worried about when I asked for it!) The honey is perfect in this too, just the right amount. To my nose on drydown, it's almost like a lurking bit of raunchy in the background. Not having a bed of your own doesn't mean you won't find one :666:

I think this is one that will age incredibly well, though it's hard to imagine it getting better! I am absolutely thrilled with it. Thank you very much Mara!

  5. I, too, scored my bottle in the sale and I love it! I've been wearing it for the past week in honor of Mabon and it's just perfect. It was a risky one for me to try without sampling first due to the presence of marshmallow (sometimes that note can trigger my migraines) but happily, it was a quiet enough presence not to bother me here. It's spectacularly autumnal for quite a while, pumpkin-y and creamy, just a bit of citrus and spice. Then the base notes after a few hours smell like the classic LP Original drydown to me, which is one of my favorite scents ever. Really glad I took a chance on it!

  6. I love all the lavs, and this one does start off with a medicinal kind of edge for me, but it softens in the drydown and the overall effect can be summed up as: "Nom, nom, nom." :D While I'm enjoying my trial vial, Body Paint puts just a toe over the "too sweet for me to risk a FB" line, and I can't even really say why that is, because there are certainly other scents that share some of the same notes that I still feel comfortable with. Definitely a "your mileage may vary" kind of thing. I'm really glad I got the chance to try it, though.
