Wolf is an animal I've loved and have felt a connection to since I was very young. I believe Wolf is one of my main spirit animals, if not numbed one. When the totem releases came out, I was so brand new to LPMP that I didn't jump on this. Thank goodness I got a bottle in the last sale! So, when I first got this I smelled it on the bottle and wasn't sure how I felt about it. I set it aside. Another day, I tried it but it was hot and humid and I think that affected the scent on me. Not too sure. Today, I've been thinking of wolf a lot. I've been studying wolf as a spirit animal and then realized I really haven't tried this. I opened the bottle and smelled it. Wasn't so sure still. I shook it A LOT then smelled it again. Better. Shook it again and way more than any other LP and JACKPOT! (I learned I'm probably still not shaking these enough.) Anyway, this is WONDERFUL! It's a very beautiful unisex scent. I get images of wolf in woods, running with the pack, wolf with the love and loyalty of the pack, the long wolf, the alpha male and alpha female. It's wild yet so comforting. I'm a huge fan of sweet grass. I like to collect it and dry it. It smells so good! I'm learning I love it in perfume too. That mixed with the wood, tobacco , plus the green from the herbs and cannabis and then that red musk makes this feel very natural yet somehow a little refined.It's giving me this feeling of strength and confidence but it's what you see in a wolf's eyes when she's sitting in the woods and looking at you straight in your eyes. I don't know how else to explain that. All I know is that I love this. I can't wait to see how it is after the long dry down. ETA: The long dry down was close to perfect. It was this skin musk that still had this wild energy feel to it in more of a resting state. I couldn't stop huffing my wrists. It was soft yet confident. I'm guessing it was mostly the red musk at that point because I think that's where the wild energy feeling was coming from, like this hint of red on my skin. Love it!

Seriously, I dismissed this one as one I might like but wasn't too interested in. Now I have to try it! It sounds like something I would love!

Wish you could have tried this too. It's pretty unique but man it's got some major power all thanks to Mara. The long dry down is the best because your skin has this sandy desert scent to it and it's just fantastic. It's very good for cleansing away negativity.

I was thinking the same thing! All three together could be way too much to handle. For some reason though I feel like it could help with reading and doing the activities in Finding Your Way in a Wild New World. I don't know that I'm prepared to try it. And, I wanted to place an order for my Blue Heron PE at the end of this month but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to swing it. Budget constraints. Hopefully soon though and I will let you know so you can be on the lookout for it! Maybe when I can, I'll place an order for two PEs at once.

Blackcat - Vulture and Persephone as a combo are AMAZING together! I'm wearing them today and I love it. They are so powerful together. I tried it before but only right before I went to bed. Wearing them during the day together has made me feel the full effects of the combo PLUS the smell is to die for. I need this cleansing from Vulture with the strength of Persephone and with the protection from both. I wonder what would happen if adding Grimoire to the mix.

OK, the carnival theme is BRILLIANT!!! The labels are STUNNING!!! I just truly could not get creepy carnival out of my mind. I think American Horror Story traumatized me. This is why I stopped watching it. ?

OMG! OMG! Medium, Tattooed Lady, Vardo, and LP Carnival labels are speaking to me. I cannot wait to see all the notes!

I'm excited for LP new releases, like always, but I cannot even begin to wrap my brain around the idea of carnival scents. I can't wait to see these. I just keep going to American Horror Story season 4 was it? I couldn't get through that season. That clown. Completely terrifying!

I've been under a lot of stress which causes large amounts of anxiety for me. I was trying to get myself to just chill out and relax for a moment and then I remembered NOX. It had fallen off my radar. I'm so happy I remembered it! I put it on and slowly felt myself begin to relax. After about 20-30 mins I felt really relaxed. I'm not completely cured of my anxiety and stress but it's subsided a lot. As far as the scent, it's so much more sheer than I remember. I think I love it even more. A raspberry resin scent in this gauzy like sheerness, like I'm wrapped and being hugged by a deep red/purple hazy light. I panicked because I only have my original sample of this. I assumed it had sold out but I was relieved to find out it has not sold out yet. Fingers crossed that I can buy this before it's gone. (I'm worried I'll forget about it again.)

And this is my lesson learned here. I need to be much more patient with my LPs! This seems like a great journal topic. Tink's LPMP Lessons Learned. I like it. ?

I've had a FB of this for about 2 years. I think I wore it twice but there was something about it that I don't think I liked. I'm not even sure what that was but I remember being slightly disappointed because I love copper. So, not too long ago I decided to turn this into a sugar scrub. No joke, this was one of the best smelling sugar scrubs I've ever had! This will probably sound weird but it reminds me of late summer/early fall. Maybe it's the combo of the trees and very ripe fruit. I love this scent. It's cozy to me. I honestly cannot pick out an individual fruit at this point. It's blended so well. I get trees but it's not overly masculine. It's truly that late summer feel, when the trees are starting to turn but it's still warm. You can sense fall is on its way though and nights are getting colder. There are still the late blooms, and bees, and honey, and ripe fruit scents in the air. That is what I get from this. I don't have a lot of it left but I'm going to wear it as a perfume now. Maybe it just needed to age more for me or my tastes have changed. Probably a little of both!

I had NO IDEA this was the same place! So very cool! I was going to google it too, to check it out, but I've already seen it. ?. I still need to try Vulture and Persephone together. I almost did last night because I was wearing Vulture already but then I grabbed Road Opener instead.

I started reviewing this yesterday and realized I was basically saying what Luna said at the beginning of this thread so I erased it. I thought about it though and wanted to point out a couple of things. First of all, this one is clearly still true to what it was in 2012 and that's fantastic!!! Also, I've tried another scent that was compared to denim but when I tried it, I couldn't make that connection. Not sure why but I just couldn't imagine that denim smelled like that. I DO get denim with this one. I can't explain it but it feels like I'm wearing my very favorite jeans and I love that about this scent. It's comfy, cozy and soft. It's that perfect faded blue. Oh, and one more thing that is a personal observation. Blue is my favorite color and my birthstone is Sapphire. I've looked at this one way too many times and never got it. Why? Because I don't always listen to my wise inner voice who was trying to tell me I would love this. I wonder what else my inner voice wants me to buy...

So, I bought one of the very last remaining bottles of this off of Etsy with my last order. It's the lemon variant. I wanted to wear Spirit Bottle for intent today and I thought this would go well with it for my scent of the day. First time trying it. I put it on and the lemon was BRIGHT. So bright that I said out loud, and only to myself, that I should wash this off. But I stopped myself because I'm learning. (YAY ME) Within minutes, the lemon mellowed and and blended in and this turned into this gorgeous smokey vanilla tea. HOLY BALLS I LOVE THIS. I was working all day today but all I really wanted to do was smell my wrists and casually lounge around just the beautiful lady on the bottle. Everything in this is something I love in scents. Tea, which I've recently figured out I love. Vanilla, and this one is not a goody vanilla. Smoke=Love. Burnt sugar is one of my favorite things and in a scent is heaven to me. (Learned this from LP Summer 2016) And then there is the lemon. Citrus can amp or go weird on me but I can handle some lemons. This one blends in to this so well. I can't detect it other than this hint of brightness in the background. So happy I bought this one!

BC, that place looks AMAZING! I would love to stay at a place like that. I will now have these images in my head too! It's beautiful. I HAVE TO TRY VULTURE AND PERSEPHONE POTION!!! I think I need that combo. And, good luck with your extended stay at your parents! With Mara's potions and knowing it's only 3 months (fingers crossed!) it should be easy to manage, right? ?

I think it will be fantastic to wear while renovating. Good luck with all the renovations, BTW! I tend to wear this a lot at night these days. I use it for cleansing whatever I may be carrying on me from my day. I also used it to try to help with getting rid of a virus. I swear it helped. It, at the very least, comforted me which is positive! ❤❤❤

tyvey, what an amazing description! I love the blown glass comparison. And, I can see myself in this field you're talking about even though I've never been there. I get that soapy scent at first too but I didn't get Irish Spring. I don't really want to smell like that either so I'm glad it went away for you. Oh, and I have never tried Port Jolie, but I got a bottle in the sale and now I'm super excited to try it! Cheesy, this has some crazy staying power. It lasts a long time on your skin but get this. I wore it last Tuesday to work. I haven't been back at my desk until today. I could smell it at my desk and my nose is stuffy! And BC, THANK YOU! I'm so glad you like it. I cannot wait to try Farmhouse Afternoon now. And, you are exactly right. These nostalgic scents bring back only the very best of childhood memories! Opal's Joi de Vivre is very similar to me in that aspect so I'm sure Farmhouse Afternoon will be amazing! ❤❤❤
