  1. LOL! I LOVE the patriotic unicorn! And, that card from Brigid is very cool but I can't help but to agree with the post from the Naughty Jester.
  2. Why oh why have I forgotten about how much I like Lumina? I've pushed it to the back of my phero collection and neglected it. It is FANTASTIC! I'm traveling. I drove. I sang and danced the whole way and had fun. We decided to go to this restaurant but when we got in, it was PACKED! It's in a smaller town in IA and a local musician is playing (who now resides in Chicago?). We had no idea. We were told there were no tables so I said maybe we should go somewhere else. Then the owners (I think) told us to wait and made room for us. They were overly accommodating! We had a table right by the musician and it was sort of loud so they got us a booth a little further away. I felt like they were falling over themselves to help us. They ate probably the nicest people in the world but I feel like Lumina had a lot to do with it. ?
  3. LOVE! ALL OF THIS! You could open your third shop somewhere like Minneapolis, after you open your second shop near QG. ?
  4. I was thinking about this. I actually DON'T love the idea of marriage, which is why I am not married. I could go into detail but this is probably not the right thread and it's probably boring. I'll summarize and say I'm nontraditional. I do like the idea of a couch wedding though!!! ? Have the wedding and then watch shows. Perfect.
  5. LMAO!!! I can relate to the marriage thing! I think about it and I love the idea and wedding dresses and shoes but then I think, nope. Too binding or something. (I should point out I've been in a long term relationship forever, like 11 yrs, but no real rush to be married.) As far as this perfume goes, I think it's gorgeous, but I don't think it's something I'd wear a lot.
  6. I was starting to think it was odd that others are saying this is a young scent and I said I felt like a grownup woman wearing it. Then I remember I almost always feel like a 13 year old so it makes sense. LOL!
  7. It's the clover scent but not exactly like what I wrote in my potion idea thread. I'm super excited for it!!!
  8. Try it! I don't get banana from this at all. On me, it's extremely well blended and is this yummy caramelized sugary creamy dessert scent. Hopefully it works on you too!
  9. LP Summer is the next FB I will be ordering! My last order was fairly big for me, which included my next PE. I'm patiently waiting for it now. Fine, maybe I'm impatiently waiting for it but only because I can't wait to see and smell the magical creation!!! SO EXCITED!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! ?
  10. I was intrigued by this one because of the salt and coconut combo. I also liked the idea of the name, Ocean Mist, and the possibility of smelling like ocean mist. The first time I wore this, it was very bright, salty, and refreshing. The musk in it seemed to amp a bit on me but I think the salt kept it at bay. The coconut is is is mellow. I think it adds the the freshness, especially when combined with the lime. I am not sure I can make out the pineapple either. It has a cooling effect, which I think is the misty effect. I really like this one. I guess I would maybe say it leans much more masculine than feminine. I wish I could explain it better. It's just really good. I kept huffing my wrists. I would constantly huff my man if he wore it.
  11. I have never tried any other version of this. I'm not even sure how many previous versions there are. I've always wanted to try it though so I'm so happy that I am getting a chance to try it. It is so beautiful. So feminine and pretty. I was worried about the floral notes being too much but the balance in this is incredible. It is so well blended that I couldn't really pick out any one note. When I first put it on, it was very soft and light so I added more. (I should know better!) After about 15-30 mins, (not too sure), it started to bloom on my skin. I was imagining flowers blooming on my wrists, chest and neck. It's soft, has a touch of a creaminess (sort of like One True Love), and a touch of sweet. Nothing in this is overpowering though. Gorgeous! While wearing this, I felt like a grownup woman. I mean, I am a grown up woman, but I don't always feel like one. LOL!
  12. Like Beccah said, DO IT, but wait until I place my order! ?
  13. Good idea on buying a few FBs! I will get at least 1. Not too sure my budget will allow more at this time. Hopefully there wi be some bottles left when I can afford to get a backup bottle or two. I LOVE THIS ONE!
  14. I can't get enough of this one. I have tried so many of the LP variants, and I do really love some of them, but I've never found the one for me. Trust me, I have LPO and love it but there are days when the patch in it is too much. This one though may be THE ONE for me! It is so soft and creamy and smooth and I get zero patch bugging my head. This is so well blended and just gorgeous!

    Butterfly Bloom

This is very pretty! It's soft, light, and feminine. It's sweet but not too sweet. It's great for a hot summery day like today is here. I think it would be great for any occasion too. It's floral but so soft and almost creamy or maybe the better word is smooth. I'm guessing the sandalwood and vanilla cause this effect. Very beautiful!
  16. This is YUMMY, like trying not to lick my wrists yummy. Creme Brule is one of my very fav desserts ever! I love cracking the burnt sugar layer and the contrast between that and the creaming custard. I love how this smells like the burnt sugar and it's creamy and vanilla with subtle hints of spice. YUM. YUM. YUM. DROOLING! THIS IS AMAZING! FB worthy!
  17. Wow! This one really surprised me. I wasn't sure if it would be a "me" scent and I was afraid it would be too pointy on me. It smells so good in the sample that I decided to try it anyway. It was a little pointy at first. I think water lily causes a pointy reaction for me. Not too sure though. Anyway, right away it is very pretty and the very mild pointy note went away fast. It's cool but not too cool. It gives me an image of warm lagoon like water, you know, where you might be hanging out with a merperson and possibly be getting a kiss from said merperson. It's smooth, warm watery cool (if that makes sense), lightly floral. The long dry down smell is gorgeous and is yet another scent I cannot stop huffing!
  18. I got the same wax melt sample! I'm super excited about it because I've never tried the wax melts before! ? ❤❤❤
  19. I bought a FB of this without hesitatation. I had no idea what it would be like, but I'm a huge music fan, so this truly spoke straight to my heart. I don't even know what to say about this. I don't know what to compare it to yet it's so distinctly LPMP. It's so unique much like both Bowie and Prince. This is my best way to describe it. It's unique, beautiful, androgynous, alien, familiar, comforting like a hug from a greater spirit, confident, sexy M.F. It somehow gives me this very strong feeling of being loved and to love myself for exactly who I am, in all my weirdness, because I have a voice and story to tell. Maybe it's because this is giving me a moment of reflection of Bowie and Prince and what they've given to the world. When my budget allows, and if by some lucky miracle there are any left, I will have to get another FB. And, I've said this before but I'm saying it again. THANK YOU for this! ❤ I realized I didn't really mention anything about the actual scent. At first I could detect the lavender but it wasn't the only note. It was just the strongest note at first. It isn't a pillowy lavender but it isn't medicinal either. The amber and tea seem to play the bass in this scent. The licorice, anise, and rain are pulling the scent upward and keep it lighter. It's dried way down now and it's simply gorgeous and mellow. It's close to the skin now. I wish this is what I naturally smelled like ALL THE TIME. I wish I could describe it better. I cannot stop huffing my wrists.
  20. I'm going to be honest. I was afraid to try this one when I smelled it. It smells heavy, like a lot of resin scents, which for me can only be worn in Autumn and Winter. I had read all the reviews and decided to try it yesterday, which by the way, was actually crazy hot and humid here. When I first put it on, it was strong and I was worried I might have to wash it off. For me it seemed like coffee, dark chocolate, and dark roses right away. I was so surprised by how quickly it mellowed out and somehow was light on me even with heavier scents. It blended very nicely into this beautiful silky smoothness. For me, none of the notes were dominant at that point. So beautiful! I actually applied a but more later in the night and it did the same thing. It's a gorgeous perfume! I'm still so amazed by the lighter quality to it.
  21. Fun! I'll work on this over the next few days and send you some good pics.
  22. I wear this a lot and I love it more and more each day. It's aging beautifully. It's turning into this beautiful and exotic perfume from some faraway land. In fact, I'm pretty sure this is what the characters, Katharine Clifton and Count Laszlo de Almasy wore in The English Patient. When I wear this, I'd like to think I'm as elegant as both Kristin Scott Thomas and Ralph Fiennes, however, my constant tripping and overall clumsiness bring me back to reality pretty fast. LOL!
  23. They all look so amazing! Besides Black Star Lavender (fb already ordered), I'm most excited to try Ocean Mist, Atlantic Shore, and Summershine. I love scents with salt in them and the atmospheric type scents.
