  1. I'm not a huge fan of cinnamon, or any spices in perfumes, really, and that's most of what I'm getting with this one. I do get a bit of soapiness under the cinnamon. But overall, this is not one for me, pretty much due to the cinnamon.

  2. I find this elegant and kind of commercial-smelling, although I can kind of get that sensuousness idea of it if I try to shift my thinking a bit. I don't think it's for me, though. It's too sweet or something.

@Lainey my man wears this one, it's so good on him! Maybe slap some on the hubby?

Yeah, maybe. We have found a really suitable scent for him in the Cuba brand, "Gold." It smells amazing on him. So he's not too into all these LPs like I am.

  4. I wore this the other day. I would have sworn that it had licorice or cinnamon in it, but I see now that it does not. Although I could easily be mixing up the other spices for cinnamon. I don't know where I got "licorice" from, though.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I wasn't super-crazy about it. It's okay though. I think maybe it's not a "me" scent.

We named or re-named some of the B&B with local places to make it fun for the neighbors here.

I THINK this one we alternately called Water Lily & Lotus, if I remember correctly...this is likely the ingredients:

Waterlily, Bamboo, Lotus, Lily, Lettuce, Black Orchid.

THANK YOU!!! It is so beautiful!

Any possibility of it ever being made into a perfume?

  6. This is sooo pretty! In the vial I found it a bit too watery, but on my skin it has morphed into a real grown-up lady perfume. And I finally understand what you all mean when you say that! I'm not sure it's "me" as I would hardly describe myself as a real grown-up lady, but I will enjoy my sample a lot. So elegant! I am tickled; I was really not expecting this from a scent named "Totem: Dolphin." Although I feel a little sad that I don't feel I can live up to the expectation set by this perfume. I feel like I'm letting it down.

  7. I love this one! It's so sweet and soft and fuzzy. Like a bunny tail. It kind of reminds me of The Wolf and the Shepherdess, with a musk that I interpret as animalic, even if it's not (veggie musk? What's that mean?).

I'm a little surprised I like it so much, for two reasons:

1). I have a hard time wrapping my mind around tomato leaf as a note. Although I really do love the scent of tomato plants.

2). I have an irrational hatred of any and all sprouts, including--ugh--alfalfa.

I wore it to bed the other night, and then because I liked it so much, I wore it to bed again the next night. The second go-round it smelled more "chemically" to me, but I think that was just my brain being weird. I still like it.

  8. I was a bit concerned about this one because I think it was Sugared Earth that went absolutely HORRIBLE on me. But this one just turned into a sweet, pleasant scent with a hint of earthiness. My only complaint is that it didn't last too long. It's  shame that so many of these lovelies are limited edition when one is pokey like me about getting around to trying them!

  9. Welp. I put this on today and unfortunately, the coconut eats everything else, especially my beloved spikenard. It's a very soft, almost undetectable scent on me. Very close to the skin. And ALLLLL coconut.

    *sigh*

    I want more spikenard.

  10. All I get from this one is "sweet." It's very generic on me. Maybe the age? I'm not sure, but nothing stands out. I would never have picked any of those notes out of this one, except maybe the sugar. I didn't even get oakmoss! I usually pick that up right away. Disappointing, but that's what I get for getting distracted by shiny things and forgetting about all my perfumes, I guess.

  11. This is sooo pretty! On me, it turns sweeter than I would have expected from the notes, but I can still get the "unisex" vibe off of it. I just happen to love scents like these--not necessarily aquatic, but "stormy." Like Aerion Skye, Island Rain, this one, stuff like that. I love storms, so I guess I like anything that reminds me of them.

I didn't notice any effect from the TC, but I wore it to bed a couple nights ago so I wouldn't have expected to, since everyone was sleeping.

I'm so sorry! I don't know why I get you two mixed up. I changed it.

I LOVED this scent on my bride.  By the time I got her to wear it and I found out how wonderful she smelled in it, I was too late and it was already sold out.

    That's too bad. :(

See, it's gone on me again already. I just reapplied it around 3 or 4 this afternoon, and it's just before 8 now, and it's mostly gone except for a faint soft scent on my wrist.

Sweet enough for the gods themselves...a delicious peaches-and-cream blend made warm with floriental accents, abundantly powerful...just as the immortal peach granted longevity and good fortune to all who tasted it.

PEACHES & PEACH BOSSOM ~ Love. Promotes fertility, happiness, and abundance. A symbol of marriage. Longevity, wishes granted.
VANILLA ~ Aphrodisiac, inspires happiness, playfulness, sexual arousal, lust, vitalizing.
BUTTER/CREAM ~ Nurturing, soothing, eases troubled relationships. Goddess energy.
BERGAMOT ~ Relaxant, confidence builder. Uplifts emotions, protection, attracts riches.
DEWBERRY ~ Healing, money attraction, protection.
JASMINE ~ Self confidence, anxiety reduction, prosperity; powerful love attractant, spiritual love.
HYACINTH ~ Attracts love and luck; protection, playfulness, joy, relieves grief, eases childbirth. Dependability, constancy, friendship.
SANDALWOOD ~ Love, exotic, sensual atmospheric; aphrodisiac. Healing, spirituality, exorcism.
PINK, WHITE & MUSCOVADO SUGAR ~ Attracts love, luck, sweetness and riches. Lust inducing

I was surprised to see that there was peach in here, because I don't pick it up and also it doesn't turn plasticky on me. It's very faint. I just reapplied it and now I can kind of smell peach. Nothing about this is intense for me. It's soft and pretty, and doesn't last that long. I like it, but I'm not brokenhearted that I missed out on a bottle.

  15. Well this is delightful! At first I was a bit turned off by a note that I perceived as "sweat," which I think was probably the patchouli. It seemed a bit harsh. But on my skin, this has mellowed out into a bright, happy, REFRESHING summer scent. I had to emphasize "refreshing." If the word had a scent, this would be it. I love citrus and this does not disappoint!

Also, I must mention the label--this is the most memorable LP label, to me. Those ladies dressed up as lobsters are now firmly lodged in my brain, ever since this set came out. They make me laugh.

  16. Well, this is odd. I came to read the notes because I get green, green, GREEN! I was sure it would have aloe or cucumber or something like that as one of the notes. Maybe a water accord. And here I find it has none of those things whatsoever. Maybe the label was subconsciously influencing me; I don’t know. Anyway, it’s pretty. The “green” that I get from it is overwhelming, though. Even though it doesn’t actually exist. Very odd!

  17. Wow, this is sweet. It's pretty, but I think it's too sweet for me. It smells like candied coconut that's on sale in a "natural" shop that also sells incense and everything's in teakwood bins. I tried it last night and it didn't last too long, and I slathered the SHIT out of it. I just put a bit more on to refresh my memory.

I'm not heartbroken that I don't have a bottle of this, even though all the notes together sound like something that would be right up my alley. I need a little somethin'-somethin' in my perfumes that, if this has it, is totally overtaken by the coconut.

  18. This one is very pretty. I find it feminine, a bit powdery and old-fashioned, but also somehow fresh and clean. It doesn't seem to last very long; I can barely smell it now and I SLATHERED it this morning. I do have to wonder if it's lost a little bit of its original magic due to its age. I guess I'll never know, as I have now used up my li'l trial vial and it's gone. Onward and upward! What should I try next???

  19. OMG this scent is amazing!!! What are the notes in it? It remind me of wildflowers. As far as the shampoo aspect goes, while it does lather up, it doesn't lather up a lot. But that makes it easier to rinse out. My first try with it, it didn't feel like it got all my hair clean (like there felt like a buildup at the top of my head), but this time I tried a bit harder so we'll see. I know that hair can be a bit fussy when you stop using commercial shampoo. My hair's still wet but it does feel softer this time around. I can catch a faint whiff of the scent on my hair, but I wish it was a lot stronger!

  20. Oh wow! I can see why @Beach Goddess loves this one. I think it's thanks to her that I had a sample to try at all (which is now all gone! :(). It's so pretty and floral and creamy and fresh...like a tropical breeze. It makes me think of white sand, palm trees, fast cars, refreshing fruity drinks, excitement, anticipation...for what's to come in the evening, maybe? A rendezvous? With said surfer dude? But tbh it kind of makes me think of clubbing in Miami or LA or something.
