  1. I think I also need a Victoria Pink thanks to someone's review *Points upwards at StacyK and mutters over her bank account*
  2. I did the same thing but came back to it the other day. It ages so nice, like meeting an old friend and finding out that while they've been gone they have grown even more wonderful.
  3. It could also be the perfumer's alcohol in the spray. I wear almost all oils because the perfumer's alcohol gives me headaches. I would suggest getting a trial vial of Sneaky Clean and seeing if the oil still bothers you. Try it some time when you can run wash it off if you feel a headache approaching. At least then you are only out $5. And hopefully it works out and you can indulge in Sneaky Cleanness in a different form.
  4. But F**king under peach trees in a bed of flowers!
  5. I agree with you. It smells old, sort of nostalgic but also wild. It reminded me of my grandmother also. Though if she had a bohemian past I did not know about it. She -was- quite the socialite but more of the furs, beads and ballrooms type and she was definitely -not- a practicing witch. Still, their house did have an attic and I always expected there to be many treasures up there every time I got to climb up and peek in. I didn't wear this with Grimoire today like I wanted to. I was in a rush and went out the door with nothing on, grabbing my bottle of Mega Watt for later application as I went.
  6. That's Patti dressed up for Halloween in her Gypsy attire, superimposed into an antique image! The goal for this one is in fact an antique style scent crafted of aged sandalwood and vetiver attars, cedar wood and leaf EOs, and a dash of warm Egyptian musk. Earthy and comforting, wonderfully atmospheric. I know that only Patti, Blackcat and I have this one but I felt it needed a thread anyway. I really like this one. Of all the November PE's this one is up there as a favorite. Wet there is mostly Sandalwood and Musk but after a few minutes the cedarwood starts to peek through. The vetiver shows up later and lingers with the musk. The dry down becomes very soft feminine and woodsy at the same time. I want to try it with Grimoire for some reason. Perhaps I will remember to do that tomorrow.
  7. Its very evergreen while wet with just the tiniest hint of fruit peeking out. Then the fruit starts to come forward. It smells lemony orange for a bit. It seems to all but disappear pretty quickly. All that is left a few hours later is a spicy whisper of a scent. While the fruity and evergreen are mixed, it reminds me of some gift basket or something that my grandmother used to get every year. I like it. It evokes memories of Christmas past. I wish it lasted a bit longer but maybe that will come with time.

    Merry! 2015

I smell the eggnog more now than I did from the very first time that I used it so I would imagine that you will get more nog over time. Who knows, this time next year it might be your favorite scent.
  9. Congratulations Bella! At some point I got a new rank but I am no where close to Bella's
  10. The old tome was of magic was definitely what I was hoping for. I loved it with Spirit Bottle and can't wait until the bottle of that comes from Cutie Pie so that I can put them together again. My sister said Grimoire smelled soapy to her. >_
  11. On me while wet this has a scent that is almost like magnolia even though there is no magnolia in it. The scent is heavy and sweet at the same time. I would guess it is the well blended nature of it; the vanilla and buttercream sweetening the majmua and sandalwood into an almost floral scented confection. Floating around the edges of that scent is the soft musk, adding a little sexy to the pretty. On drydown it is mostly sandalwood and musk, which is very nice. I like it from beginning to end.

    Merry! 2015

This one smells exactly like those special candy canes that I remember from childhood (back before there were tons of different flavors.) You had peppermint, sometimes spearmint and then, the very rare, berry flavored. I imagine the canes were cherry but they smelled just like this when wet. This seems to last a nice amount of time and when it dies down I am left with a lovely resin that still has a hint of seasonal goodness left.
  13. Hi, Shadow, welcome to the board! As far as reviews go, there is a thread for each scent and pheromone so you would find that thread and post your review. There is a review section for the non-pheromone scents, a pheromone area and a men's forum. Personally, I usually just do a search for whatever I am wanting to review and then click on the thread that has that title, such as "Pirouette". If you want some scent throw but also want staying power, I would suggest getting your favorite scents in both spray and rollerball form. The rollerballs tend to last longer but the scent stays closer to the skin and the sprays burn off more quickly but have more initial impact. You can combine them for a longer lasting experience. However, I find many of Mara's scents have plenty of throw in just the roller ball form.
  14. Rubber seems like a scent to use with extreme caution. It is a very strong scent and could easily take over the while thing. Plus it is one of those that people are going to love or hate with no in between. Just my humble two cents.
  15. Oh, I don't know. I kind of like the "over the topness". It doesn't quite become too much for me. It is just very noticeable, plus it smells real, which is very hard for a peach scent. Fake peaches tend to be just too much, often very sweet and they become nauseating after a while. I have smelled more than a few here in the peach state. >_
  16. Thank you I imagine that I will be very glad to have at least one come Spring.
  17. Those are beautiful holiday cards! I especially love the enchanted ones but the gargoyle in the snow makes me smile too.
  18. This one was tempting me. I love sandalwood and amber...and it being deeper than your first seems like a a fragrance that should age really well.
  19. There is plenty of peach for me. I love the peach and honey mix when wet. I agree with Blackcat that it is bright and sunny. Its very fresh smelling but not in a crisp clean way but more of an outdoor real fruit and floral kind of way. It reminds me of how the air smells when real honeysuckle is in bloom and the air seems almost thick with it. Magnolia can be that way too, just shy of cloying on a hot summer day. This stays bright and strong on me for a good long time until it eventually fades to a soft honeyed amber skin scent. It is possibly my second favorite PE. Molly's Forest Retreat is still the favorite but this might edge out Spring's Lusty Cherry, we'll see!
  20. That is awesome. I saw your review and was just thinking, I wonder how this has aged. It was kind of sharper than I really wanted. I wore it maybe twice but perhaps it should be given another chance.
  21. It depends on the phero and the scent for me. I have done well with both scented and unscented versions of Balm Bomb, Teddy BB, Mega Watt, Dom and Levitation. (off the top of my very tired head) The one that hasn't been the same is LFM. I have gotten better results with a scented phero version of it than I have when using it in UN form. I use just a few drops of most every UN. Three is the most...except for this one time with Heart and Soul when my trial vial tipped and so I quickly swiped up as much as possible so it didn't go to waste...in hindsight that wasn't the best move ever. I did have great connections with all my framing customers that evening but I was way emotional, like crying at the cute puppy commercial emotional. >_ The one that hasn't ever seemed to work for me, scented or unscented, is cougar.
  22. If you are a fan of our Ebil-ish or Pashazade style scents - GRAB! IMMEDIATELY! This blend is a little darker and more resinous than those, crafted on a base of the last of one my best aged patchouli oils, layered with creamy vanilla and balsam, and made WOW with exotic spice EOs of clove bud and cardamom. Review: In the beginning it is a little sharp. Could be the balsam or the clove but it settles down very quickly. I currently have a headache and scents can really set those off. This didn't tip into the "wash off immediately before the pounding intensifies" category so I am happy about that. Its spicy. It doesn't have that typical Egyptian incense smell but would layer very nicely with it. The cardamom and spice definitely have an exotic feel but this is softer, perhaps because of the vanilla. It is one of those scents that I really want to layer and play with. I think it would be amazing with something woodsy, interesting with something sweeter or great with something with cinnamon. I think I like it.
