  1. When I first put this on it smells like a ripe peach, the kind that is so juicy it starts running down your hand onto your arm. Heavenly. After about 15 minutes the apricot starts to dominate. Later on it becomes more creamy, which must be the coconut cream and sandalwood, but my brain keeps interpreting it as almost a cocoa butter smell. On the long dry down it starts to remind me of a really soft, rich, high-end lotion, like you're wrapped in a fluffy robe just out of the bath and are lathering on a luxurious cream with a light peach scent. Overall, it goes on a journey from somewhat tropical to warm and almost fuzzy, like the skin of a peach.
  2. That's funny, I have the exact opposite experience. On me, LFM affects men while LFN affects women.
  3. Well, unlike other people, this one made me hungry. But that's because it smells so much like fruit salad, it really made me crave fruit salad. Not just any fruit salad, though, specifically the kind you can get at cafeteria style restaurants, where the peaches are canned, but the apples, bananas, grapes, and if you're lucky kiwi, are fresh, and the juices all run together and meld into one. The apple is a nice tart, crisp kind of apple and the banana rounds it out with some deeper sweetness. It's very bright and fruity and would be a good spring or summer scent. It reminds me of being out in the sun in the early spring when the days are warm, but there is still a hint of chill on the breeze. I think that is the mint, which isn't a prominent note for me, but adds a bit of a tingle. The fruit salad vibe makes me think this would match well with a peach scent or even Aja. Sidenote: I somehow got the mistaken impression that the coco in Coco-piggy was chocolate instead of coconut (idek) and was intrigued by the idea. I thought a hint of dark, bitter chocolate running underneath these notes would make an interesting scent. As a result, while wearing this I may or may not have tried holding a chocolate cupcake up to my nose with one hand while sniffing my other wrist at the same time. (It didn't work, my sample had faded too much by then. Oh, well.)
  4. Hi and welcome. I use cocoa butter lotion everyday and there shouldn't be a problem with it interacting with the cops or pheromones. The only thing is to be sure the moisturizer has had a chance to absorb into your skin before applying the cops or pheromones so they can properly dry down. As for where to apply the products, it depends. The advice generally given is to not apply anything with cops neck or above as it can make the wearer seem "dirty." The other pheromones should be fine anywhere. The application points can depend on who you want to affect. If you want self effects it is a good idea to place them closer to your own nose, such as neck, cleavage, some even do a dot under their nose. If you want to affect others it's a good idea to apply them where they can disperse even more. Such places might include the wrists and back of hand/forearm area if you talk with your hands a lot, the back of your knees if you're wearing a skirt, the back of your neck. Body heat really helps to diffuse oil so down the middle of the torso is always a good place for the scents. For scents without a lot of throw, I'll also sometimes do a stripe just beneath the bra line on each side of my chest as that tends to get pretty warm on me, too. When wearing cops be sure to give them at least 10 (20 is better) minutes to dry down before getting dressed. If they get on the clothes or in your hair they won't dry down properly and will stink. I don't have OCCO white, so don't know how it interacts with LP: Red, but any OCCO plus LP: Red seems like a lot of signals to be giving off around college aged guys during class. I would definitely try them separately (and cautiously) at first. One sexy, but not overtly sexual, blend I get a lot of hits with is LFM. On me it tends to get guys' attention, but not in a leering way. LP: Red with cops was my first LPMP scent. It's a hell of a gateway drug.
  5. I would like to reserve a bottle of A Peach of a Day and a bottle of A Peach of an Evening. Also, if they will be available, I'd like to reserve an itty collection set of the PEs. I have a few other decisions to make, so it may be a day or two before I request an invoice. Thanks.
  6. I really like this one in the bottle, but when I try to wear it it becomes too diaphanous. When I first apply it, it smells nice, but barely there. And then even that hint of smell is gone almost immediately. I've worn other scents that only last a short while, or wear very close to the skin, but with this it's like I put it on and there's nothing there. It's the oddest thing. It's also a shame because in the bottle it is so pretty. I envy those of you who amp it.
  7. I don't get much of the fruit, on me this is all magnolia. I think the fruit hovers in the background, just a touch to round it out a little, but the magnolia is absolutely the star of the show. Something about it reminds me of a perfume my mother sometimes wore when I was young, so it brings back wonderful scent memories and makes me feel safe and loved, while remembering how almost impossibly grown up she seemed. It's lovely and has such a simple elegance. I think it pairs well with the Lumina, which gives an air of quiet confidence.
  8. This scent is fresh and outdoorsy, but also incredibly gentle. It's like standing on the edge of a meadow, right where it meets the woods, as a spring breeze blows by bringing the scent of freshly blooming flowers. When the other notes die down, the musk remains, but still has that overriding sense of gentleness to it, staying close to the skin. I often have trouble with musk turning sharp on me, but this one behaves.
  9. I really like this fragrance. I get the cinnamon right away, then the smoke starts to emerge later. On me, the scent lasts a long time. It reminds me a lot of LP Red, though a less SEXAY version. If LP Red is a night on the town, then Fideau is Red wearing jeans, a scarf, and a light jacket to some outdoors festival in the fall. The sexy is still there, but it is more appropriate for daytime.
  10. Thank you all so much!!

    Hi!

Hello everyone. I bought my first LPMP perfume 2-3 years ago and have been reading the forum as a non-member for just about as long. Finally decided to stop lurking, be brave, and join in. I didn't think I liked perfume that much, but it turns out I'm just not a fan of most commercial fragrances. With Mara's creations though, what started out as one bottle soon became an addiction (as so often happens around here.) Another thing I like about LPMP is how they list so many of the perfume's notes. I have several fragrance allergies/sensitivities and it has really helped me avoid certain scents (anything with lavender, e.g.) and more readily pinpoint triggers. (It was either the hay or the heather in Bonnie, which is a shame, because it was absolutely beautiful until I couldn't breathe.) LPMP has also helped me widen my perfume horizons. There are a lot of scents I never thought I would like, until Mara worked her magic, and suddenly I do. I now find myself looking forward to foodie and cotton candy scents in addition to the greens, aquatics, and florals I tend to favor. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and I'm excited to be here. (I'm hoping to post some reviews soon because I may or may not already have an entire file at home full of my personal reviews to help me keep track like the dork I am.)
