  1. I get that, it's dark and heavy and substantial like leather, also thick and creamy like cocoa butter.
  2. I would've never guessed in a million years that something that sounds like "marshmallow" would have Vetiver in it! That Mara is a tricky one.
  3. I am also Lumine D'Terra curious! Neroli and Amber and Vetiver? I'm in. But I'm afraid of the cedar, so waiting on the trial. I get that it's prob more for my man but I am not fond of what he does to cedar and it would prob smell better on me, so I'll try it on both of us. Year One was so amazing on me, and then I went and bought it for him, and it's just not as good on him because of the cedar: It just seems weird to ask for it back as I surely have at least 6X the scents he has. Maybe I'll wear it tonight and see how it goes.
  4. John seems like a patient and chipper fellow, but one of the last 50 or so people I want to piss off! Lainey, I'm sure we all send him the "And another thing!" emails from time to time. When's Johns birthday? We should have a Dear John thread.
  5. Hello and welcome! I saw that your order has shipped, so excited for you! If you tear into your new perfumes, which you will, know that they'll prob change a bit in a week or two after settling at your house. I think I had a few that I gave up on too soon for a lack of patience. So Since we're in the getting to know you stage, might you have cats, kids, dogs, and/or significant others? (Yes, a cat can be your significant other.)
  6. I read Orchide Vanilla as boozy vanilla, I'm expecting it to be more lusty/grown-up, whereas I'm hoping Delectable will have more of a Fairy Cake vibe.
  7. Sorry about the Orchide Vanilla Kayla! I considered just going with FB of Delectable for the Vanilla & Orchid, but it came down to labels in the end! I've had two babies, my kids are awesome and all that, but I just prefer cats.
  8. Ha! I just got my official "too much perfume scolding!" Theres a knock at the door, my son signs for two packages. My man says "you have a problem. You don't have any money and you buy too much perfume." Shaking a box at him, I exclaim, "it's Lick of Cream!" He mumbles, "it's probably okay then." He looooves Lick of Cream. He just took it from me and put it on himself! Jerk. He's huffing himself and making inappropriate yummy noises. Fucking weirdo.
  9. Latte Peche, Tyvey's Candy, and the Orchide Vanilla pretty please! And the Peche has coffee, too. Wow.
  10. Latta Peche!!! Caramel and Peach together? I'm looking on my phone in the car and my contacts are filthy but I'm gonna need this unless I'm making it up.
  11. They're still kicking themselves for not speaking up. Love you darlin'! I will admit I have some untouched phero's LP's, but why do you?
  12. This is the first time I've had a backup bottle in my mental shopping cart before I've even made a dent in the bottle I just got. But it is that good for me. Lainey I'm sorry it didn't punch you in the face but this one''s a lady. My favorite sock it to me lavender is Now Organics Peaceful Sleep Essential Oil Blend, it's tangerine, lavender, sandalwood, and Pow! Right to the kisser! I don't know why they call it "peaceful sleep," though, it's soothing but perky, IMO.
  13. Well that is shocking. But there's no accounting for taste. Maybe they just had such crazy strong filters that they hid their awe and respect a little too well? My concern was that somehow I was negating my man's crushiness on me with DHEAS. I'm plenty crushed out on my guy, he wears PM a lot. Today he's working a festival on only 4 hrs sleep so I watched him coat his entire body with UN SWS and Shark Dressed HuMan before he headed over to fairground. (I'm making the hotel room feel useful and important.) Back to my question, if it's only about negating fallout in women, I don't actually care. If it's not about me/my needs, meh. Less interesting. But I bet the DHEAS they used on those women reminded those women to go have some fun elsewhere. Maybe those men had nothing else to offer other than pheros? Don't hate the DHEAS, hate your lack of game, son.
  14. I'm wondering about this, I love me the selfies I get off OF DHEAS, by I don't want my man doing the opposite of whatever crushing out on me is! Can anyone expand on this? I use a lot of DHEAS.
  15. Congratulations! We call my friend Lindsay "the Gilf" because she is way to hot to be called Grandma!
  16. Okay, if available, I'd like to reserve FB's of Orchide Vanilla and Tyvey's Hollywood Candy. The only way I wouldn't want either is if they had blue camomile, mint, or eucalyptus. Tyvey, I hope to god that you don't consider mint and eucalyptus your ideal candy.
  17. I don't know how we ask to reserve PE's, do we do that on here after the final count, or can we only request holds on itty sets here?
  18. I put on a spritz of Liebchen before leaving for teaching tonight, went to kiss my man goodbye, and he said "take it off!" "What?" "You can't leave the house smelling that good, take it off. Or I'm just going to wear Girl Nip everyday, all over town." Obviously I didn't, but I just re-applied with a little Magnet, so hopefully he'll feel more included than excluded. Edit: he's already told me 2X that I smell good.
  19. I find that if there's a scent in the box for my man, I get zero "naughty" looks. Try that?! later in the evening edit- My "add to cart" finger is feeling twitchy.
  20. I don't know what's in Fluffy, but I want it. I want to eat those babies. Amythyst Haze is a no-brainer. The Paradisi label kills me, I think maybe that baby is the love child of Stormy Weather and The Big Easy. Petite Baie is most likely the result of the late night encounters of Super Happy Funtime and Wild Side. I won't hazard to guess on any of the others or their parentage. I am curious about Mystic Dewdrop because it has LFM, which is my jam (still quoting Cheesy, "silliage is my jam"), but it looks green and aquatic, which is not my jam. I often experience, thanks to Mara, that I honestly don't always know what I like, so we shall see. As far as the PE's go, Marissa's Orchide Vanille looks like my kind of party. Of course all those babes are scrumptious, but don't run out and get knocked up just to celebrate the April NR's! One thing you need to know about babies, they turn into teenagers. It's a very predictable pattern, but somehow it's still surprising. And most of those perfect label babies are asleep. My babies are 8 and 12, and yes they're still moderately adorable, but they are most certainly NOT ASLEEP at almost 10pm. I need to go correct this situation now.
  21. Yummy! That sounds good. I have Fairycake Lemon, can't necessarily say I want to share, though! Maybe I'll let her have my Fairycake Orange. Maybe. I completely concur on the chocolate & cherry thing, about it being sexual, but it's good to get the feedback that others have the same connotations. I will mention to her that fruit is for mixing with fruit and cake scents. She also has a banana spice cake it might work with. Somehow, on her, dark chocolate reads as "don't mess with me."
  22. Warning: there is exactly zero reference to the actual perfume Betrothal Potion in the following opinionated rant. If the perfumes name appeals to you, maybe skip my nonsensical ramblings.... I have married two different men, but I have had 3 ceremonies. The first Husband, I did the thousand layers of tulle, my dress was amazing. It was a $6000 dress that I found as the damaged sample try-on dress at a fancy wedding store in a size 10, I bought it for $600 had it brought down to a 6 for another $200, and then proceeded to glue hundreds of crystals all over the tulle! People told me not to, that I'd ruin it, like I'd wear it again? Turns out it would've cost $600 just to clean and box it up so I donated it to a thrift shop where drag queens shop. Second husband, I wanted to elope, but he wanted a wedding, so I told him he could make all the arrangements. Turns out, that's the same as eloping! We went to Hawaii, and 44 people came, because he called them. No invitations or anything traditional, and I was barefoot and 6 months pregnant. My third ceremony was by Elvis in Vegas, again to Husband number two. His best friend was getting married, and was terrified, so we got married there with only him and his lady present the day before to show him it was no big deal. (She was having her ceremony there the next day on her parents 50th anniversary, it was where she got married.) It turned out that the Elvis used to play in a punk band the nervous groom used to go see, so we all hung out with Elvis that night and he wasn't scared at all the next day. Anywho, I've had a real fancy wedding and a beach wedding and an Elvis wedding. The part I don't like about weddings is that they turn perfectly awesome boyfriends into husbands. I will never ever turn a prince into a toad ever again. It's like bringing home the cutest little kitten, and then one day you wake up and it's a honey badger.
  23. I had a first husband, and I was way tougher than that one. One time our upstairs neighbor's dog got into our house, and my dog had it cornered in the bathroom. He heard the commotion and woke me up, "honey, I think there's someone in the house, go look," and I did. True story. He needed me to protect him.
