The burnt sugar note in this is delicious! This feels like a beachy bonfire burning on a pile of sugar crystals instead of sand. I do get a “particular feeling” as Luna said…I can’t exactly describe the feeling, just that it’s comfortable and familiar in a way.

I am a huge huge fan of Sweet Surrender (constantly dreaming of and manifesting a rebrew🥰) so I did a happy dance when I read this was similar. I don’t want to compare too closely because this is meant to be “similar” and not exactly the same (also my SS is a spray and not just oil)…but it is stunningly gorgeous in the same way! Not as musky and the coconut isn’t as heavy, it’s still coconut but something about Flamingo feels lighter, softer maybe? It’s wonderful, it’s fabulous, it’s everything a pink coconut dream girl could ever wish to be! If SS is Barbie, Flamingo is the adorable and spunky little sister who everyone talks about long after the party because no one expected her to shine just as bright in her own individual way and now you’re obsessed and want to be best friends with them both.

😂 I get a really strong oakmoss vibe from this too and have to keep checking the description! It reminds me of Petticoat Lane, which I am deeply in love with, but with a powdery vanilla undercurrent that is super cozy. I feel like I just want to curl up and snuggle myself, I don’t even need anyone else!☺️ It lasts a really long time too, I applied yesterday morning and could still smell it this morning when I woke up. Just this gorgeous, soft, effortlessly yummy skin.

When I first apply this it reminds me of Belle de Menthe, the mint really stands out to me and it really is so refreshing. There’s just a hint of lavender which makes it even fresher. It’s great. The dry down is where this one really shines for me though! I still get a bit of lavender but as the mint fades something smooth comes out and just makes me feel fresh but also super sophisticated. I’m not great at picking out certain scents so that’s the best way I can describe it. I’m glad I went fb on this one!

I rolled the dice on fb’s for Flamingo Pink (it’s my beloved sweet surrender, I had to!) Mtoto, Iclyn and the Ambrosial Ukraine benefit bottle. I never smelled the original ambrosia but hey, it’s charity, it was necessary!😉I only got trials of firefly, Lily pond and buttercream peach and I’m already kicking myself for not just going fb on those too! I cannot afford my Veruca Salt personality!😂🤦🏼‍♀️

I used 4 or so sprays of Topper on top of Flutterby (don’t remember the phero in that one off the top of my head at the moment) to the aquarium, it was my birthday and I wanted to be a social butterfly! I work with animals 12 hours a day so when I get around humans I tend to be bouncing off the walls with conversations anyway, talking fast, saying really quirky things and just jumping all over the place😂 Usually it drives my daughter nuts, I’m a lot and she gets overwhelmed with my energy pretty quickly, but this time she was bouncy and quirky right with me! My friends have all told me not to make eye contact with strangers when we’re out because people start talking to me and I’m not one to just smile and walk away. I had so many fun conversations with people walking through the aquarium and a few of them gave me a hug when they walked away, it was really nice! At dinner the waitress brought me several free shots and sat with us on her break and thanked me for letting her celebrate my birthday with us and said she’s never had this much fun with a customer. I think Topper was literally the icing on my birthday cake🥳 I normally feel very awkward in public settings because my mind is filled with random song lyrics and silly movie quotes that I blurt out in conversation and then feel embarrassed, but this time I felt like my quirky friendliness was appreciated by everyone.

Oh gods, this would be phenomenal! I’ll put off buying the new house and not even feel bad about spending alllll the money on 2 lifetime supplies!🤞🏼🥳

I’m wearing this today…a bunch of this today! Just got out of the shower, perfume is my last step and the rollerball came out in the lid so I ended up dumping quite a bit of this all over my neck and chest when I went to do my little dab.😳 I figured I would review it!😂 Maple is something that usually is too much for me, I usually use very little for that reason, and right now I’m a walking vat of maple! BUT after about 20 minutes this settles into the most wonderful smokey vanilla musk and it is so dreamy! It turns into a really soft and close to the skin scent that I cannot get enough of. I’ve never worn this much so we’ll see how everyone else reacts while I’m out and about today. I have about an hour for it to settle and hopefully soften.🤦🏼‍♀️ If it didn’t take so much of my energy to shower I would just hop back in and start over but I think I’ll be ok…unless I’m already going nose blind and am not fully aware of how obnoxious I smell right now!

I know this is an old thread but I was looking for animal reactions and found it! I worked in a shelter and used to wear Fideau all the time and co-workers would comment how the animals seemed to always like me more, even the ones that no one else could be in a room with, I figured it was the cops. Now I work with the pregnant and nursing dogs and puppies, I try not to wear heavy scents obviously and sadly my Fideau is long gone. It could be because I’m a little more experienced now also and I know my level of stress effects the mamas, but now I’ve discovered Teddy and it really seems to help calm the nervous mamas! I started with just a little northern comfort but since have ordered unscented Teddy. It’s been wonderful, I really love it! My days are usually spent alone, human wise, so I never would have thought to try pheros on the animals too.

@EveI do this with my daughter! Usually the things that don’t agree with me almost always smell amazing on her.🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s so interesting! How long does that “off” Aja smell last before it changes again? I washed it off as soon as I noticed it but I’m thinking if I just stuck it out for awhile longer maybe I would have loved this again? It was lovely for about an hour, then we had problems!😂

This is another blind fb just based on your reviews! I’ve said before I love the dirty honeys myself but no one else does so I don’t get to wear them as much as I’d like. There is definitely something floral about this one, which is weird because of the notes but I also love it. No one else is awake yet this morning but I think this one will be a hit with everyone else too because I’m not getting any dirty vibes at all, it’s floral and soft while still being an obvious honey that I long to wear. ETA: About an hour later this shifted to that “off” Aja smell I’ve seen some people mention and I had to wash this off. Darn, maybe it will settle eventually?

I got a fb of this based on all your reviews. I got a Virgin bottle though. I know Mara doesn’t just cover the phero, she actually blends it with the other notes so idk if a queen bee-less bottle is that much different. I’ve had this on for 2 hours and the first hour and a half it was all tangy boysenberry, I didn’t smell the grapefruit necessarily, but that might be the tang I was getting. It’s finally starting to soften into a soft, close to the skin jasmine and it’s really nice. I’m not getting any honey or aja at all! I’ll see how it continues to morph but so far I am very happy that I decided to blindly trust your wonderful reviews!

Mara suggested I try this one and I am so glad she did because I am obsessed! It’s one I never would have considered just for the more masculine type phero and notes. On me this is all woodsmoke and a little vanilla, it’s very grandpas old pipe vibe and oh man what that scent memory does to me! The majority of my time is spent alone and I don’t normally get selfies from most pheros, but Teddy is so comforting in a way I didn’t even know I needed. I used my whole trial vial and have just been carrying it around to open and smell while I was waiting for my fb to arrive and now I’m wondering why I only got one!🤦🏼‍♀️ My daughter laughs at me when I put perfume on just to go to bed, but she tried this too and now she understands. I already know this is going to go “missing” so I’ll definitely have to get more to hoard on my own.

I really really love this! Teddy is such a great phero, one of the only ones that I actually get selfies from, and I love it so much! The scent itself is also comforting to me, it’s just perfect! I’m having a very hard time deciding between an fb of this one or Northern Comfort…they’re both just sooo good but I can’t afford both at the moment. Which one will possibly sell out first before I get some more money?!?🤔

I’m sorry Mara! I didn’t mean for my review to be so negative where you had to explain yourself! I know my chemistry, and florals tend to either go weedy or soapy on me. It smells wonderful in the vial until I put it on and my skin works it’s magic.🤦🏼‍♀️ Daisys are my favorite flowers and I realized I’d never actually smelled one, they don’t really have a strong scent like other bouquets of flowers. That is an interesting clarification though, I’ve never been to the east coast so maybe I had the wrong expectations of the salt and water accords. I’m in Colorado where we have no shores and really only have the gulf beaches in FL as reference. Like I said though, it smells amazing on my daughter so I guess the only part I meant to be negative was for my own chemistry, not what you have created.

@androstenol I’m just not a fan of fresh cut grass or sharp fresh flowers, I prefer my florals to be a bit powdery. I’m sure it’s just my chemistry but I feel like I end up smelling like a dandelion weed and it’s the opposite of fresh for me. My daughter brought out the salt accord that I was hoping for and it was lovely on her.

I was really excited about the salt and water accords in this, I love the salty beach smell. But this is very fresh cut flowers, that doesn’t work on me. Just my chemistry though because it smells amazing on my daughter.
