How much UN Cougar, and what was the scent? That might help figure it out... I would not be surprised to find that a certain pheros swallow up certain notes. But damned if I know which! If that IS the case we're all gonna just have to sleuth it out... Straight EoW notwithstanding, of course. I think we're on to that one Another curiousity, similar vein... I wonder about altering the scent in general with boosters. Some mixes must just 'work together' both scent and intention, but boosting has to change the scent a little. Anyone out there noticed significant differences-- good, bad, or whatever-- with their boosted potions v their 'old school' sisters? As far as the Potion-Eating Pheros Case (potion-> :drink2: <-pheros, get it? PEP-C? Grooooan!), Jo Anna, please get us started!

Curious as to what yall are doing base-wise, now that we can choose... please share! I chose to go with oil, mostly because I always put oil on my dry and 'scent application' spots right after showering, then apply the CP phero du jour, then LP oil... I figured the oil might help combine the first two steps, or even all three if I put them (scent/phero) on together...? (And yes I boost sometimes but I'm such an a la carter that I generally like to keep em seperate... In astro-chart speak, my Libra sun/Gem moon don't incline me towards easy decision-making, or commitment . My hub's lucky I'm Pisces rising, so I'm a faithful wife at least!) ***Input from Mara, Danna, the Guru Crew and Dr Stone on the properties of each base in as much detail as possible is of course very welcome and SUPER appreciated!!***

Last night, I was digging through the oldest of the 'reviews' thread for sh*ts/giggles, and lo and behold, on the second to last page there's a phero-thread discussing the introduction of phero's to LP...(was it really just a year ago?) It was positively adorable, like they were brand new babies in the LP family... and here we are now, eagerly awaiting a new generation! Anyway, I saw -rone refered to as a peacemaker there, too. Plus some comments from Pharmadude himself (he seemed very cool, that fold is such a shame.) And of course, lots of input from Dolly, one of the original pheroqueens! Sounds like I've been crediting 'the other b-nol' for some of -rones work... or perhaps they both work in tandem-- or even seperately to the same end. Interested also to see if they're in Tranq Potion... One of several new one's I'll be getting...

I was just reading through the actor's magic site and in the descriptions it singled out *androsterone* as the calming 'alpha-male at peace' mone... I could swear I read on one of the forums that that one was *beta-androstadienol*... or are they both components in that equation...??? I realize the question, and full answer, are more complicated than I'd really understand, but if it's possible to layman-it-up a little, I'd appreciate it. Plus I'm curious about androsterone's general properties, it's one of the mones I'm least familiar with anyway. Well, that and b-androstadienol, apparently M & D, if the phero threads are a better place to ask, please relocate the question. Yes, Autumn Mist is sooo pretty, warm dewy and sweet (is that creamed corn in there? I'm not so good with notes ) The funny thing is I had gotten AM earlier as an extra sample, and was *thisclose* to wearing it Friday for the first time. The gift bottle seemed like a cosmic hint to wear it Saturday, when my Mom, Sis and I drove out to see my Nana for what will probabaly be the last time. So now, even if she doesn't realize it, she has had the pleasure of experiencing an LP lovely That thought makes me very happy. Ditto that! And mentioned it before, but again, LOVE your hair!

Well hello, and thanks SG! The wikipedia link is one of the ones I read and thought that it sounded GORGEOUS and just so 'LP' to me (SO glad to see it's getting used!) But the name sounded forum-familiar, and sure enough, I found some unfavorable (footy!) comments about it from Mara... is it just a to-may-to/to-mah-to thing? Or did she perhaps have a bad run-in with a particularly pungent osmanthus source? Regardless, I would absolutely love to hear your take on it in ths scent, and how it turned out... Plus, I have to know, is osmanthus in any of our other beloveds? It sounds apricot-y, and both Scandalous and LPBI for example were ridiculously deliciously (and addictively!) apricot-y, or is that a coincidence...

Wow, I've never heard that... I feel so shitty if I DON'T megadose on my Bs... Gonna have to look into this. Is it specifically taking too much B-6 or what? I rock the B-12s mostly... Are you sure it's the 'Bs' in Red Bulls though? I didn't think they had that much, but they (among other 'energy drinks') DO have many ingredients that cause interesting reactions for some, as well as coming from *questionable* animal sources, IIRC... the taurine maybe? For one... Hope I'm not interrupting , and sorry I don't have an answer either re: the scent or morning glory aspect, but the B angle is intriguing. Please, share!! ETA: And, hope your sleep troubles are banished soon, blupest-- by whatever means! On another note (no pun intended,) I was also interested to see osmanthus as a main note considering some of Mara's-- errrr, opinions of it I read somewhere. I googled it and it sounded very pretty... the ladies apparently found a source they found more agreeable ! I'm not 100% on this, having heard conflicting info... In particular a show on the discovery chanel about pheromones and the chemical components of sexuality (which was unfortunately on when I was getting ready for work, so I couldn't actually *watch* it except as background.) The voiceover brought up copulins, what they were, the physio/psychological effects they have on men, etc., including a study involving men rating the attractiveness level of pictures of women when breathing through a tubed mask of either just air or air with a low dose of cops "below the threshold" to smell... point being that the exposure to cops had a measurable response WITHOUT being detectable scentwise. Prob they were refering to a range where you 'smell' something as a sense without consciously getting a scent from it... But that seems similar to pheros, or is that an entirely different mechanism. Man I wish I could watch that show now, and sorry for the vaguaries!! (sp? or more aptly, vague-queries?) I've really been wanting to ask about this, since it is new/different info to me re: cops. Has anyone else seen this show, or have any idea what they're getting at? Everything else I overheard on it was pretty much the EXACT same info that LP forums had hipped me to already! Phero-gurus, if you please, your expertise is called upon!

Well, Black Bunny pushed me over the edge. Couldn't put off my order any longer, seeing the status of Cuddle Bunny... which is an AWESOME mone mix. So, I ordered it as an add in to Black, and now there's one less CB out there. Not sure what y'alls Black Bunny blend is, but the other night I slathered some CB under Black, tweaked it with S honeycomb/SS... and YOWZA. My first hubba-hubba-hubby DIHL! More cuddly than carnal, but exceedingly lusty, handsy and **determined**. Pretty safe to say he likey. So I have my new official home-use-only lovin' blend, Black Honey Bunny.

I received (and opened) TWO "times square has sent you a package" emails after placing ONE order, and while I was trying to figure out why the extra (they both looked normal, btw) my laptop went crazy and apparently is suddenly infected with all kinds of god-knows-what and trojans... luckily an IT bud was here right when it happened, he said it was from an email... Thing is, I'd only opened my X2 and stamps links, and this was the first time I'd been online today. So, be extra careful and if you get extra emails I guess--?-- If in doubt don't open em til Mara and Danna let us know WTH is up here... I'm sending an email to them to see if they know what the prob might be.
