I got some Excalibur as a sniffie in one of my past orders, and I don't believe it has the phero in it. This smells NOOOOOOMMMMMM on my ManThing!!! Sheesh! It dries down sweet and somewhat green, and the woods come out on him perfectly. Smells way better on him than it does on me, and it smells pretty darned good on me! I now have Excalibur on the tip of my nose, because I keep snoofing his arm. WOOF!!!!!!

No shame here. None at all. Heh.

Hi, tezza23! The Magician kicks my manifestation side into high gear. It works every time. I love it!!!

Gotta chime in again here. The Magician really kicks my manifestation intentions into gear. I get purposeful, motivated, and very productive at whatever I'm working on when I wear it. And the "whatever I'm working on" gets multiplied, and *all* the projects get done. WOOT!!!

Oooh, katz! It crossed my mind that I'd gotten bad associations with May Day after wearing it to funeral, hospice, and general family-state-of-emergency. I liked the smell at first, but got to NOT like it as I went. Aha! Do check out Elixir of Silver--it can be really nice.

Must jump back in on this one. Jouir De just blows my mind. It's my foremost example of how our body chemistries differ sooooo much from one another. I still wear this one. I usually mix it with something else, and it adds an interesting depth and dirtiness to whatever else I'm wearing. Once in a while I'll--gasp--wear it alone! But here's my personal kicker: Whenever my older daughter smells this on me, she perceives it as sort of caramel candy!!! And this, when I'm perceiving oversexed funk! However, I *do* get an underlying sweetness...some...kind of......hee hee! Weird.

I was using May Day a LOT at the end of the year, as my Mom-in-Law and her sister passed away, and Dad-in-Law with alzheimer's had to be moved into a group care home. The phero worked very well indeed, but I'm not a fan of the scent. I have to put dark resinous scents on top of it, and then it's okay. Enter Elixir of Silver! She is my new leetell friend. I like this scent a lot. On me, it's not too sharp and it dries down to a very pretty, understated, sweet-ish, barely aquatic thing. Unobtrusive, pleasant, and effective. Yay! Oh, and the label is beautiful, too!

Holy sheepshit! How in the world do I get neroli from that?!? It really *does* say "I'm a girl!" It's such a pretty, complex scent! Thankyou for the freeb and the info, Mara!

rinster, I am so perplexed--but in a GOOD way--about Bianca. Now that my curiosity is snagged, I'm going to be crazy. Well, *crazier*...! I hope Mara takes pity on us and tells us what's in this perfume!!! AUGH!!! By the way, have I said today that I like Bianca? Heh.

bumbob, this one kept me guessing 'til I fell asleep. Could NOT figure it out. I still got what I perceived as neroli, but I also kept getting whiffs of some kind of fruit. It also impresses me as a clean smell, if that makes any sense. It ended up very close to my skin, and made me think "girl skin," which is something from the description of The Empress, I think. I know this doesn't smell like The Empress, but there it is. Heh. Um, Mara? What is in this stuff?

Oooh! rinster and Beccah, I got one, too (Thanks, LP faeries!)! I tried it on with about 10 other scents at once. I liked it, but it was overwhelmed by my overindulgence. I'll retry it right now. OK. In the vial, I get sort of fruity floral perfumer's alcohol. Wet on my skin, the alcohol politely evaporates and I get the fruity floral blend, with less of the fruitiness. There's a hint of rose to my nose, then it's gone. I smell white flowers. Well, it IS called Bianca. Maybe some tuberose in there? I keep getting subtle hints of sweet fruit, too. It's a rich, lush, feminine scent. There's the fruit again! Just there to round out the scent. Maybe some Night Blooming Jasmine??? You know, sometimes pikaki gives me a floral/fruity feel. Is there some gardenia in here??? I also get a very, very, ***veeeeery*** faint whiff of powder, but it's barely there. Bianca feels like exotic, velvety, white blossoms from plants with dark green, sturdy leaves. Wow. Ooh! A little bit of fruity just went by again. Hey...could that be white peach? I'm just NOT experienced with analyzing a scent like this. OMG I just put more on my arms and the sides of my hands and got a serious hit of neroli! My hands smell a little fruitier, and my arms still have neroli. Whatever this is, it is YUM. I'm really casting about for a description. I'm wearing this the rest of the evening and to bed to test the uber-long drydown.

I got a bottle of this unsniffed, and am EVER so glad I did! I wasn't sure about the blackberry, but the rest of the notes looked like it'd smell great on me. It does! It starts out incensey, then gets all "Pleased to meet you, blackberry-with-incense-in-your-pocket!" Then it goes back to incense again. I think the cedar, amber, and rose give me the impression of *almost* sandalwood. It's LOVELY! ETA: I've been wearing this all day and have come to the conclusion that the blackberry is what's giving me the incense vibe. Weird, I know. There's just something about the sharpness of the berry that does it for me. I'm getting more berry now than I did before. That little sharpness also kind of prods me to manifest things into my physical world, without fussing or hesitation. I'm really liking this for purpose!

This is how it works on me, too. I LOVE it! It was a psychic freebie in my last order, as I've been wanting to try it. Am going to have to procure more!

I ordered a full bottle of The Magician. I've got a strong connection with that card, and the scent description is lovely. But now with everyone talking about actually *experiencing* the scents...think I'm going to have to bet the sampler in my next order!

Hee hee! The scratch-n-sniff part should be...US! Mwwahahahaaaaaaaa! I already own one of the Addict shirts...a few days in the future!!!!!!!! BEAUTIFULLLLLLLLLL!!!!! The design ROCKS seriously, Mara!!!!!!!

I'm going to have to get a bottle of The Lovers, too! Here I was, all set on the whole sampler, and then I started...thinking...about an entire bottle of The Lovers. Oh well, I love the torment of reworking orders!!!

Maybe THAT'S why I have such a fondness for it!

Eeeesh! I never reviewed this, and I *LOVE* it!!! I get a rich, warm, sweet, somewhat creamy, brown sugar and candyish feel from this. It's perfect. It's comforting. I smell like I've been making really good butterscotch fudge or something. SWOON!!! Oh, and it grew on me. I liked it at first, then noticed I was going back to it a lot, then decided I couldn't *live* without a full bottle. Heh!

I'm ordering at LEAST the sampler of Embody the Tarot. Monthly scrub, too--sounds lovely!

I do believe I'm going to jump all over the sampler, too! These scents look SOOOO great!!!

These days, whenever I wear Sparkle Fuchsia, I get warmth from the scent. I don't know how else to describe it. I'm getting the rich buttery, vanilla-y, ambery, pumpkiny kind of warmth, and some sweetness; and like Mara mentioned above--the strawberry adds "pink" to it. It's a really delightful and mixable scent for me. YUMMY!!!

...and you, my dear, are showing yourself as the Goddess you truly are! This is an EXCITING set of magickal scents!!!
