Olive and Apricot cream with copulins

wonder if if possible to buy the body cream minus the fragrance (e.g. LP#9 cream minus the #9 fragrance)? I’m looking for ways to use more LP perfumes (I have so many but am slow with the use, oiliness on the skin stops me from using more) and having a high quality natural cream which I can stir my LP perfume in would be a great way to consume more of LP. Also, the fragrance-free version may be a bit cheaper 🥺? Going through tons of moisturiser during cold months

Updating to say I’ve been using this on my face daily and my skin hasn’t had any issues with breakouts and it absorbs quickly. My dry skin on my face has disappeared.

 I’ll probably use this throughout the winter.

Hello, @Vika and @Mila! How much cream do you use and how many jars do you have? I'm hoping to order for body use but I don't know how long a jar may last. I'm considering whether I should order one or two jars to maximize shipping. 🧴📦🫱🏻💵📬

I only have one jar that I’ve had over the past few years but I am using it fairly often now so two should be plenty.

 I only use about a dime size amount on my face and then a pea size amount for my legs. I try not to go overboard because of the copulins in it since I work in an office. Lol

It’s a 4oz jar but if you’re doing your whole body, you might be using more. It’s non greasy and it absorbs right away.

To compare it to my 16oz bottle of bioderma, I go through a bottle every 3 1/2 months and I don’t use a lot of that either for my whole body. So it’s personal preference.

Thank you so much for your thoughts @Vika! I know it says copulins on the name but I forgot about it and just thought about slathering it like a normal moisturizer! I'm glad you mentioned the office context! I might need a second jar of something else that doesn't have them.

There are new cream scents!! 😱 Sadly, they might all be gone by the time I need more jars. I'm still working on my first one and just a little goes a long way! I still need to come back and review this. Oh well, I did not plan on reviewing this now but I might as well go ahead!

 

I purchased two 4 oz. jars of this cream last November. I was surprised when @Vika said she's had the same jar for years now, but I understand how it can really last so long when just a little bit of it spreads really well. 

 

This truly is a very nice cream. We had to evacuate our place earlier this year and we were only able to take important documents and essentials with us. I brought this as my moisturiser because it worked for my face up to my toes. 

 

💆🏻‍♀️ For my face, I had to experiment with the right amount and combination. I put too much at first and put oil on top which made my face too oily. I stopped using the oil and just used this cream instead. It worked really well. It worked so well that I didn't have issues when I ran out of the CeraVe PM Facial Lotion I layered underneath it. 

 

🧴 For my body, I was using this after the shower when my skin was still somewhat damp. When used on dry skin, it goes a long way. When used on damp skin, it spreads even more smoothly and I can make the tiniest bit spread even more. It really is true that this goes on silky smooth! Some creams are somewhat greasy and just occlusive feeling, but this one feels light. I actually stopped using this because I noticed it was fading some of my marks. I know that might be a good thing, but I want to take before and after pictures lol. I've also been using monoï oil which had a similar effect, so I want to do a before and after of using that oil and this cream before I continue. 

 

🌬️ The scent of this is interesting to me. It reminds me of some vintage creams and my grandmother's vanity. Perhaps the slightly pink colouring is also reminiscent of that? I'm not sure if I'm picking up the original Love Potion fragrance from this, but I don't think I've sniffed that one by itself so maybe that's why I'm not identifying it. I find the scent pretty mild though and does not interfere with other scents. 

 

Now that I see there are new scents available, I'm more motivated to go back to using this on my whole body again. I might just need to go and get those before and after pictures done sooner. 😝

@Onyx I loved it during the winter and I ended up finishing it in the beginning of the year. Really, it was just because it had copulins that I was afraid to wear it all of the time. I was considering buying a new jar though!

@Vika I'm almost done with my one jar! I have another left but I do want to pick up another jar. I wear it every day on my face LOL! It really helps lock in the moisture for me and when I forget to put it on, my face lets me know because it gets itchy.

@Vika I just realised the ones I'm looking at are not the same products! I'm looking at getting a jar of the Lavish Body Creams (Apricot and Soy) instead of Olive and Apricot!

@Vika I'll report back! I've been so behind on reviews though! I might not get the cream until after the Private Editions come out because I'm ordering them at the same time so it might take a while. 

 

I have a feeling the Apricot and Soy cream might be thicker/oilier than the Olive and Apricot one based on the description. It may be more for the body than the face, but I'm going to try on my face anyway. 😆
