  1. Wondering if some Est would up the tips? I see this was posted a year ago ... Curious, have you tried that to see how it impacts things?
  2. I saw one post of this being used in a family situation. Has anyone else tried it in family situations?
  3. Yes - A test for your favorite class! I love reading the stories.
  4. Good to know, Tyvey! Have you tested any other pheros while going through customs?
  5. I'm reading this many months later, but I've gotta say that I can't stop laughing!! Thanks for this one!!
  6. I've only had one experience with this one, but I'd say yes. Scent makes a difference. I've used UnCB and then as a test, I mixed some with a sample. I chose a sample I was less fond of in case it didn't work out (didn't want to risk a yummy one). Anyway, the sample scent is quickly becoming one I like. Haha. Maybe I'm starting to like it because of the phero's. But, it also seems to work better and requires less to get good results.
  7. Thanks, Dolly! That occurred to me after I put it in the spray bottle - luckily before spraying it. So, I've been swiping. It's worked better than when using the UnCB straight. Could that be from the faster diffusion with the alcohol? It also seems to last. I don't know if it's Pavlovian or if the lower dose is just making it work better. But, loving the results!!! Thanks again for the reminder and I love love love reading your reviews!!!
  8. This topic has come in handy! I have a really sensitive sense of smell and gave up an anything with fragrance for years! Occasionally, I'd run across something pleasant and wanted more. Love that there are Un's here, but didn't want to miss out on the scented ones. When my order arrived, I was soooo disappointed. Initially, nothing was pleasant. Then, I realized I had a sinus infection (no I can't always feel them until they're crazy full blown). So, as the recovery started to take place, many of the frangrances started moving to the yummy column!! Mmmmmm . . . but, often, they were still too strong for me. So, as per the advice given here, I've experimented with the everclear mix and am excited to say ... we have found a yummy balance!! I even mixed one of the fragrances (diluted with Everclear) with an UnCB. Can't wait to road test it! So exciting.
  9. Thanks, Halo!! Read the thread. It was very helpful!!
  10. I'm finding that to be true! :-)
  11. Quitetguy - You crack me up!!! I did some digging and have found things that imply that male pheros can help female health when it comes to things like pms, menopause (too early for me), etc. Haven't found solid sources for that but it sounds interesting. And, wasn't Teddy BB originally for men, but found to be calming to women? ... or am I thinking of one of the others? Pheros and cops are fascinating!
  12. I've seen mention of this in a couple of threads, but those threads and the mentions of these topics have left me with more questions than answers. So, let me start with the first one . . . alcohol. In another thread, there was mention of being cautious with alcohol because pheros could increase sensitivity. Is there a post somewhere for into along these lines? I learned this the hard way while nursing a hangover at the same time I was reading in the forum . . . my normally high tolerance had me baffled when getting a hangover after two glasses of wine the night before (that hangover lasted two days). The second question . . . I read where there may be some who chose to skip the pheros due to health reasons, but the reasons weren't mentioned. What types of health concerns would make someone prefer to skip the lovely pheros?
  13. In reading the descriptions of pheros, I ran across Topper as being described as "practically odorless". I've had good hits with the Un Phero's and am finding my chemistry seems to need more than scented pheros will allow. Of course, I may just be super sensitive to fragrances, but really love the pheros and want to try more. Wanting to discover all the potential options. So are there other phero's / cops that could also be considered "practically odorless"?
  14. Great tips! Thanks Calii and Honeycake!! Those are definitely ideas I can see helping maintain bonding while gone.
  15. Speaking of wind ... if you are outdoors, should you make sure your target is down wind?
  16. Thank you for the welcome, Eggers. Great being here!
  17. Interesting. I had wondered how they might impact things at an outdoor sporting event in a crowd. I had been hesitant, but doesn't look like I need to be. Thanks again!
  18. OK - This is a little outside the box and I'm wondering if this would be an appropriate use of pheros. I travel for work once or twice a year for a couple of months at a time. It's far enough away that visits back are not really possible. Last year, I was in a relationship when I had to take a trip. We dated several months after I got back before breaking up, but things just weren't the same - for him or me. In retrospect, the outcome probably would have been the same even without the travel. But, it makes me a bit gun shy about starting anything. Would / Could pheros help maintain the bonding feeling while gone? ie, Could sending a snail mail card with pheros in it while gone help with the bonding ? Or is that a bit outside the box and I just need to find someone ok with my schedule?
  19. In looking forward the upcoming summer months (getting excited), it occurred to me that the pheros/cops may be impacted by some activities associated with summer. I couldn't find anything posted already, so hoping this is the first time it's been asked. Apologies if this is a duplicate topic. Wanted to get your input please: Are pheros affected by swimming? Mind you, I'm not someone who does laps or anything extensive, but will take a quick dip int the water to cool off. Does it matter if in fresh water or salt water? (ie, lake or ocean) I saw someone post about citrus (I think) causing photo-sensitivity. Do any of the other ingredients need special considerations with regards to sun and water? Any tips on things to consider if not going to be in the water, but may be outside for several hours (hence, sweating)? Does deliver and/or base need to be considered? ie, roll-on, spray ... oil, alcohol, silicone Many thanks!
  20. Thank you for the warm welcomes! Yes, I'm excited there is finally something I can wear. I had given up on scented anythings for years. And, it amazes me how far reaching the scents are in the market yet there's still that personal feel doing business with LP - like doing business with a friend. Love when Mara commments on a thread in the forum. And, when placing an order, something I ordered was no longer available and John worked with me to help me find replacements for what I wanted. I've always wanted my own company but haven't quite found the niche for something. If I do find it, I hope the people I serve feel the same positive way that LP enthusiasts feel about LPMP. Interesting, I tend to be a bit shy when it comes to forums, but suspect a review or two will be coming soon!
  21. First, I'm new, but am amazed already. My first bottle was from another company and though the self-effects were good, I had close to 100% tolerance after the second day. Good news followed because my newly discovered LPs arrived right when that happened - CB and TH. The self-effects weren't as dramatic as the first exposure, but there is now peace in my house! We had had daily bristling which has now melted away with the TH. Thank you, LP! Sooo looking forward to the next order's arrival. Now, which will be a good alternate to TH (and without cops)so Ican prvent the family from building up a tolerance? Also, I saw were someone had decided not to use True Confessions anymore because she became too unfiltered at work. In a situation like that, could wearing it daily (ie, putting it on at bedtime or other alone time) help to build a tolerance while still being useful when trying to make that shy person more comfortable? Just a thought for how to still be able to use LPs when self-effects are slightly too much. Probably not a good methodology for the stronger reactions. Thoughts? Please chime in if that's not a good strategy. Always looking to learn more about what looks like my new interest in scents. One last note. I'm one of those very sensitive to scents, store perfumes, scented beauty products, household cleaners, etc. So far, that's not been an issue ... which is a pleasant surprise. Anyone know why these seem ok?
  22. I see this thread is a little older I'm a newbie as well. Still learning how to navigate the site and just discovered the newbie set. I don't see a button for ordering it. What am I missing? Btw, this is consistently the most upbeat forum I've seen. It's so much fun being here!
