  1. I have TH in a 60/40 spray & love it in that format. It has a very slight chemical smell, (to my nose, anyway), but it's hair & clothes safe, as there are no cops. You'll still want a cover scent though, if only because of the possibility that someone with a super-sniffer could pick up that slight chemical smell. TH is a great phero. It works really well in familial situations.

hi Eggers & thanks - I ordered TH in the 60/40 per your experience. Can't wait to test run all my goodies...
  2. So cool to see those familiar names that have been so helpful to me throughout the forum! Obviously you all deserve kudos and blessings for your time and input - especially helpful to new members like myself. Congrats & know you are appreciated more than you may ever realize!

  3. Haha! Evil twins! MLH is great! It promotes a feeling of happily in control, with good kid results. I like it a lot.

Heart and soul is one of my favourite pheros, never a bad response from it, whereas TH makes me ratty. Opposite of intended result! And balm bomb- like a steady hand on the shoulder, and breeeeathe. Good for really sad days.

Yes, I've really been eyeing H&S based upon your input, and MLH is now in my cart!
  4. I'd go with 1. Heart and soul 2. Mother's little helper 3. Balm bomb. I know these weren't in your choices but worth considering!

Thanks cinnamonmel... actually your 1,2,3 match up pretty well with my scenarios so I will definitely consider them. I had never even noticed Mother's LH before... have you had any personal experience using that one? I feel like I have four boys in my house... the original 2 sons + their evil twins (who recently moved in) that must live in the attic somewhere...

  5. Yes, I just have to get it here by the 15th! :) I've got several goodies ordered (including past recommendations like Cougar Potion, Open Windows, Swim w/Sharks, LAM, Playdate, Crayons and other samples!) and I don't want to delay the rest of things by adding yet another item, LOL. Can't wait to start my "case studies" and post my reviews. Thanks so much to EACH of you for your input... I feel like I have an LPMP support group that I can't do without!

  6. Would you recommend Treasured Hearts in Oil/RB or spray? I love the RBs as the oil seems to stay with me, but I noticed several of the Pheremone mixes come in sprays - including TH which Mara even has on Amazon in spray. How would you suggest applying TH (or for that matter any spray form)? Just on skin, or is this light enough to where the hair/clothes/stank risk isn't an issue?

  7. I would probably avoid Pop Potion because from the situations your describe I'm not sure I'd actually want to do *anything* to be the centre of attention, especially with MIL/SIL. Centre of attention can be good a good position (and PP of course pushes it in that positive, likeable, popular direction) but if they're the type to pick someone to be the centre of attention in a negative, gossipy, judgmental way then I'd want to stay well clear of being their focus!

    Good luck!

Very good ADV Donsie, thank you for taking the time to post for me. And this helps me understand & classify Pop Potion for those times when I might want that effect in a better situation,

  8. Treasured Hearts for sure in every case! You might try Mother's Little Helper around your boys too. I think Balm Bomb would be good for *you* in all the scenarios too.

Ooooh I had not noticed Mother's Little Helper... I need to check that out for sure. TY Halo!

    TREASURED HEARTS

It flips off that "old bitch" switch faster than any phero I've used here. Pleasant "happy family" effects with the guys too.

LOL StacyK :yeahthat: Not sure if by flips off you mean "subdue/turn off" or more of an "in your face" effect (akin to the hand gesture - which I have done out of her line of sight!) But either way that sounds like the mojo I def need for this upcoming little family soiree. TY!!!

  9. Phero suggestions anyone?

Scenario 1: Weekend with in-laws: gossipy, judgemental mother-in-law & sis-in-law. Both very passive/aggressive types. Backstabbers, to be blunt... I haven't been the one "stabbed" (yet) but it bothers me how they turn on those who aren't "their" flesh & blood...

Scenario 2: Testosterone ridden teenage boys... impatient, "know everything already", quick to anger/take offense, rebels, Again, to be blunt, really trying to "cut the apron strings" from mom (almost a love/hate extreme)

Scenario 3: Family vacation stresses - and all that encompasses, good & bad

I was thinking Open Windows, Treasured Hearts, Balm Bomb, Popularity Potion... but I'd really appreciate any experiences you may share.

  10. Thinking on samples of these but, as usual I need help. Votes appreciated... I'm ready to order (yes, AGAIN, and I haven't even gotten my "2nd" order - *crayon sampler yet!)

I am getting a fullsize of something for interviewing/work so I figured I "might as well use the extra room in the package" for a little something to try on my hubs. Is denial/justification one of the warning signs of obsession with LPMP? :001_07:

SS4M (Super II or Sorcerer V2????)

Wanted Man (Voracious or Home Run???)

Heart Throb (Pashazade or Captain Fantastic???)

or perhaps add pheros to a full size of Steamy Daydreams (if its as good as some say maybe I will bite the bullet and get the full size... but THEN I need to know WHICH PHERO) Arrggh.

Then there's Dirty Old Man which sounds great too (and my guy is 48 so maybe that's a tie-breaker???)

And Luna65 I PROMISE to do reviews and help future Squibs (who don't realize that they too, will get lost in this wonderful dream...) after all the time and attention I've requested and gotten here from you and everyone else!

    :thank-you:

  11. ATM I'm rather appalled that in my post above I used "their" when I meant "they're". Can I be forgiven the grammatical error? I'd just woken up!

Oh please - we all do that and sometimes spell-check does it for us!! Why is there THREE different versions of the same sounding word, anyway? Their, There They're... :) Your posts are worth any grammatical errors - intended or otherwise - that you wanna throw out!

  12. I'm going to go read up on all of these... and just make a choice. I went on ArtFire today and ordered a LAM Spray, PlayDate (because it's sold out) and Ambrosial Summer (don't ask me why - my hubs loves fruit salad and well, I just thought WTH) and it's on the SOLD OUT list too. Panic purchase... Saturday I wanted the Whisker Wishes (after I asked the trivia question about the best seller and there was ONE left!) and the Stone Cougar spray... but I was too late to get either. I wasn't going to be disappointed again!

I feel like the Jim Carrey scene from the Grinch "Stop... me... before I (insert ORDER) again!" I'm a mess... I ordered the Crayon sampler, then ANOTHER bunch of somethin (I don't even remember!) I have NO doubt I'll want full sizes of several of the crayons when they arrive. I may need an intervention soon! :arf:

    1) I think I'll get my career scent figured out tonight (after I assemble all my posts from all you experts!)

    2) Then a sample or two to try on my guy - please help me decide!

    SS4M (Super or Sorcerer V2????)

Wanted Man (Voracious or Home Run???)

Heart Throb (Pashazade or Captain Fantastic???)

or perhaps add pheros to a full size of Steamy Daydreams (if its as good as some say maybe I will bite the bullet and get the full size... but THEN I need to know WHICH PHERO)

Does this ever get easier? I KNOW I will order the career/work stuff ASAP cuz I need to start getting $$ in to "treat" myself to more of this stuff. It's a vicious cycle.

  13. You can combine any scent with SWS, LFM and OW in their unscented form. None of them are particularly stinky blends, so their easily covered. This would lend you some flexibility in terms of being able to wear whichever perfume caught your fancy on a particular day.

I generally go with oils, and they work perfectly well for me. However you might benefit from having any of these pheros in a spray if you're using them in a work environment. And all 3 of these sprays are clothes and hair safe, so you can spray away. It's only the ones that have high amounts of copulins added that you have to worry about getting on hair and clothes.

As for office-friendly scents, if you use the drop-down menu in the perfumerie, I think there's actually a section entitled "Office Friendly". I think that under the Intents drop-down menu, there's also a section with perfumes for boosting confidence. The one scent that pops to mind, simply because it's pretty, sexy but not too intrusive in terms of throw is Velvet & Steel. It's beautiful.

I use Open Windows at work all the time. It's actually my favourite for work, but I don't work in an office environment, so maybe someone who does can chime in? River Song with OW is really, really pretty.

I always love your posts Eggers - very detailed and specific (with the occasional 'zinger' comment) and limehead kitty is my favorite face now. Thanks - you have been a great source for me!

  14. Upon doing my daily studying of what NEXT to order, I think I'm understanding the applications and use of unscented blends, BUT I still want to throw it out to the experts for input.

Getting the Swimming w/Sharks and/or La Femme Mystere on their own will allow me the option of combining them with a number of great LPMP scents (as opposed to buying a scent that already has them added), correct?

Next, for either or both of these, would an oil/RollerBall be better or the spray? (And with the spray must I be very careful to only put it on skin & not risk clothes/hair?)

Finally, since my initial intent for these is to boost a confident & successful return to my career (interviews & networking) THEN (hopefully being hired sooner than later) ongoing camaraderie & respect in the workplace) can anyone suggest good covers for either of these?

Oh, and someone also recommended Open Windows as a great workplace scent... I'd love to know more about it if anyone has experience.

  15. I've already ordered a full size RB of Cougar potion per forum expert recommendations ;) I just wondered if this (Unscented, Stone) Cougar spray on Artfire could be used along with the other non-loaded (no Cops or Pheros) yummy scents I'm starting to covet from LPMP.

And of course the phero/cops on clothes/hair question I had...

I learned the hard (stupid) way from too heavy an application of Sex & Violins - "a couple of rolls between the navel and cleavage" then rubbing my wrists on that about made me pass out. The scent isn't bad at all, but I can only use a dot (and I mean DOT) or I have to scrub and start over. Conversely, with LP Red I have to pace myself because I feel like I could shower in that lusciousness. I guess experimenting (and building up gradually) is the key here.

  16. OMG did someone change Squib to Sorcerer's Apprentice for me? I don't mind being a Squib ;)

but thanks I do love TSA - I have collected many SA Mickeys over the years. My husband says it's because I'm a White Witch (I think he's meaning Glenda-esque, here.)

When he learns of my LPMP affection he will be sure of it.

  17. I agree with halo-- you are fine spraying cougar on your hair. What you wouldn't want to do is spray the OCCO, magnet, BAMs, or similar cop heavy mixes on your hair.

Cougar has such a minute amount of cops that is considered hair safe. It does not require dry down like most cops. The other phero blend that has a comparable amount of cops is Lumina. So spray to your heart's content.

So Stone Cougar is unscented... correct? So it would be like misting the invisible "magic" all over (also Lumina)~ then a favorite fragrance if desired?
