  1. Funny enough I was retrying some scents yesterday and this was one of them. In the beginning I still get that original Bad Boy vibe - the leather and vanilla - but then in the drydown this time I get the leather as an undertone to the slutty honey and that is oh so very nice; akin to Closer, even. I wasn't expecting it was going to go that way but I like it.

Yeah, that happens on me too.....I do like it. I still smell it the next day, in fact.

  2. wow, that's amazing. Yes, i believe what you say about the shadiness is true. Do you have a CPA? it seems tough do anything in accounting these days without it. Also, what do you think about the future of accounting, given all the automation and all?

I am degreed (major in accounting, double minor in management and finance). I have a double designation, CPA and EA (Enrolled Agent).

The future of accounting, while not as big of a field as it was in the past, has seemed to level off. Even with automation, you will find people who either do not have the time, the energy, or the desire to do their own accounting and tax work. Then, of course, you also have businesses (not CPA firms) who hire CPA's to work in their accounting departments.

  3. Was wearing this one for the last two days and my man really does enjoy how it smells on me. And the leather phero doesn't hurt either! I also added some cops to mine.....but that is usually normal for me. He wears Bad Boy a lot, and this one is very similar, but femmed up a bit. Love it even more now that it has aged a bit. The leather is not nearly as sharp smelling.....more of a well-worn leather jacket smell.

  4. Ok, thanks Dolly. You sound incredibly smart. Do you have your own tax practice and/or CPA? I'm considering that route...

Yes I have my own practice. I was with the IRS (exam division....audits) for 15 years right out of college and have now had my own practice since early 2006, when I resigned from my govt job. I wouldn't go with an already established firm because I audited most of those firms and/or their clients, and most of them were shady at best. So, I decided to strike out on my own.

  5. Are you an accountant? Accounting makes me blue, too. lol

Yes, and accounting doesn't make me blue....it is what I do.....but my man's job makes him blue a lot. And my tax clients sometimes get RED when they have to pay the government.

I respect your opinion, but how do you know it's not just the placebo effect? Just wondering :)

Because I have done numerous blind tests throughout the years, and I KNOW what I am talking about. If I were using a "blend" that made me feel nothing, then period....it made me feel nothing. I reported that to whichever company I was testing for and did not lay any money down for that product. We are talking HUNDREDS of products I have tested, for most of the major pheromone distributors and retailers....many of the blind tests were where I had NO IDEA what the blend was supposed to do, if anything. I was sent an un-labeled bottle and told to report on my findings.

I entered the pheromone arena as a TOTAL SKEPTIC, only to find out that shit happened that could not be explained away by mere coincidence. and it happened repeatedly. THAT is all of the research that I need. I would be much more willing to believe my own findings over 15 years than somebody's research study.

  6. It is interesting how different noses pick up different things, even when the scent is on one person. I put this on, and every time I do, my man says he keeps picking up a "tobacco" note......which I am assuming is the sandalwood. I smell hardly any sandalwood, and it is usually after wearing for awhile.

Still though, I love this one.....has definitely been one of my "go to" scents since I got the solids.

  7. Welcome! I have been right where you are.....abused and emotionally broken. I know about the "scared to put yourself out there again"....been there, done that, got the t-shirt and the matching hat!

Socials would be great for you to start out with. Open Windows is a GREAT mood lifter....for you and those around you. Cougar is also very fab.....gives you a sparkle with a little sexy. Can put that "swish" back in your hips! After you find out if those work for you.....move on to others.....it is VERY easy to get a case of brain overload, saying which ones should I get?? :Emoticons04280: Everyone has their faves, and all are for very different reasons.....what works for one may not work for you. Stick with it though.....I'm not very keen on the sneaky clean scent either....although I don't smell toilet....LOL.....everyone has their own scent preferences.

BTW.......Open Windows is very good for giving you the "I am approachable" vibe......

I also wanted to add.....kudos for deciding to possibly get back out there again.....it takes fortitude and strength......it took me a long time to realize that not every man out there is like the prick that you are now away from. Not every man will treat you like crap or cheat on you. There are good ones out there, and when the time is right, it will happen!!

  8. So I have some not so great news to report about my cherished Open Windows. I started a new job and have been using the UN Open Windows as my go-to...unfortunately, instead of people liking me, as I was hoping for, it seemed as if it made some people almost despise me or really dislike me. I was SOOO SHOCKED. I don't know if the A-nol and B-nol made them feel more unihibited??? I definitely didn't expect this reaction. I bought it so that people would feel great around me.

A couple of days I had to correct things with some LFM (to stop some of the disrespect) and Pop Potion (respect & likeability)...I'm so bummed.

Sometimes you will get that......where you get the exact opposite reaction from some people. They may just be sensitive to one of the ingredients. FYI......Swimming with Sharks is also a really good work blend.

  9. Could someone please link me the thread where we can add to our perfumes? I do remember reading it but I can't seems to find it.

I brought the unscented roll on and I want to add/mix this to my TF Velvet Orchid perfume. How many drops should I add?

    Thank you.

How much you add is largely going to be determined by what base the perfume is in, and that can even cause variances in consistency (you may have to shake it every time you use it, etc). I would apply the unscented roll on and then apply your perfume over top.

Mara will "boost" or add pheros to a scent bought here at LPMP, though, which basically uses her perfume as a base for the pheros.

  10. I just received a batch of these in solid.....was planning to use these as my "giveaway prizes" for tax season, but I may have to keep them all for myself! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this scent! Tangerine and vanilla at first, then some of the rose and sandalwood but the vanilla is always there! Man, I am conflicted about giving these away!! :Emoticons04280:

And this is what I would totally call a "stealth" scent.....it is not overpowering but just "there" enough to be noticed!

  11. Welcome to the forum!

If you are referring to "Lust After Me" from Androtics, that crap was so weak, that dumping a bottle of EoW into it probably wouldn't hurt it. If you are referring to "Like A Magnet" from LPMP, it is pretty dosed up anyway (it is like 16X the strength of Lust After Me, according to the math), so you really don't need to add more cops. That is not to say that I HAVEN'T used additional cops with LAM..... I just learned that it isn't necessary. Cops can be added to just about every women's blend......it is just a matter of degree.....you may not have to use as much is all.

If applying straight cops......YES, I cannot stress how important drydown is. If they don't dry down properly, you can get bleed through.....bleed through is where you are shopping or whatever, going about your day, and all of a sudden, you say to yourself....."WHAT is that smell that I just caught a faint whiff of? What is that? It smells kind of like......wait, NO it can't be.....YEP, it smells like cooch.....oh no, that's me! EEEEWWWWW!"

With the scented products like OCCO or Like a Magnet, drydown is not as important, but I would still avoid getting them in your hair (HELL TO GET OUT) or on your clothes. Getting them in your hair is what we termed "coochy head".....

  12.

I use that line (although not with cops lol) all too often myself haha!

Yeah, me too......even though I misspelled "ASK".....was posting too early in the morning!

But yeah, when I give my son (who thinks he knows everything at just barely 18) some friendly "advice", he will look at me like this...... .....and then I say....."ask me how I KNOW".... :go: ......he usually starts laughing at that point, or depending on the situation, is like this....

    And then I get the...."Mom, I can't even".....yeah, there you go!
