  1. Well, I got nothing tonight...no selfies, nothing out of the ordinary at all. :/ Do I up the amount next time? Or try this amount again and see if anything happens before upping it. I was around a variety of people, so I figured at least SOMEONE would react if it was reaching at all and if I had the right amount. I really want this one to work for me. I will give it a few more days of trial before trying anything new. I am really excited about trying MRF, too. I was hoping to see SOME effect from Gotcha before trying it on my primary target so I would know that I was going with the right amount when I wear it near him.

Some people don't get the selfies....they are what I term "non-responders".....they only get effects if the pheros are on someone else......know what I mean?

And Gotcha may not have given you reactions because it may have been the wrong testing group. Maybe it was the wrong environment....for instance, a work environment is not always the best place to test a sexual blend (like LAM). I know you were testing Gotcha, but just sayin'....it is an attraction blend.

In addition, and please don't take this in a negative way, but maybe nobody in the group was attracted to you to begin with....... Pheros will not make someone who is not attracted to you ( in some way) react to you......pheromones do not CREATE, they only ENHANCE. Gotcha is an attraction formula, plain and simple.

And with your primary target, you may need to wear it with him more than once to get the dosage that works for you and him.....if it doesn't, don't get discouraged!! Not all blends work with all targets!! Some people are more sensitive to certain ingredients.....I am sure there will be blends here that work for you!

Just FYI.....In a large group of people, I would go with something more like Open Windows, Super Sexy, Cougar, or something like that. Just my personal opinion.....choose the blend that is appropriate for the testing ground.

  2. I'd go with some of the social/sexy blends........Cougar would be a great start.....maybe SS4W......maybe even Open Windows which is more of a pure social.

  3. Oh and DRIVE BY FRUITING - best name ever. I remember seeing that movie in the theater when I was 8 and then getting violently ill with the flu after, but I'd never laughed so hard in my life up until then.

She has wax melts by the same name....with Open Windows....love them for tax season! Well, she has them.....when I don't buy them all !!!!! When she told me what she had done with this spray, I told her I was going to spray my grumpy clients as they come in the door!! LOL

  4.

Ok, that makes perfect sense. I was asking mostly because of some of the women's formulas that have a "men's" pheromone in them....like Super Sexy...has the androstanone...and it is listed last, so it made sense in my brain that it might be the least prominent phero in the mixture. Having not experimented with them before, I obviously don't know enough about how a male phero might work in a predominantly "female" mixture.

Women give off "male" pheros too.....but in lesser amounts. AndrostAnone is much less "aggessive male" than AndrostEnone, for instance.

Most humans give off both "male" and "female" pheromones, just in varying ratios....2 of the exceptions being Est, which is ONLY female, and copulins....again, only females.

Here is the link to the Phero Wiki, in the reading room......if you haven't read it yet, it may be helpful.

  5. Without a lot of details in looking for my "personal" fave, I was wondering about a couple of things.

#1 - When looking at ingredients, are they listed in order of how much is in there? For example, if cops is listed last, is that the least prominent in the formula? Or is there no rhyme and reason to how they are listed?

#2 - Do any of you ever cover unscented pheros with just pure essential oils and not a fragrance or perfume specifically made here? I have TOOOOOONS of essential oils already, and though I do want to sample the scents here, I just wondered if mixing them with my own concoctions was wise.

The thing with pheromones is that one drop of one ingredient may be equivalent to 30 drops of another in potency. So, unless you are a phero scientist, order of ingredients (or even specific amount of each ingredient) really doesn't tell you much. The blends here have been formulated by top-notch scientists with years in the industry, so they know what works and what doesn't. You just have to try them and see. It will take time and testing to find out dosages that work for you. Not every blend works for every person. Some people are more sensitive to certain -mones. I have been using them since around 2002 or 2003, and I still learn something new almost every day!

And one thing to bear in mind as you start out is that, with pheromones, more is not always better. Sometimes more is just, well......MORE.

As far as cover scents, there are ladies and gents here who do use primarily scents that they already own. I would NOT start off with mixing the essentials oils WITH the pheros, until you get the hang of which ones work for you and which ones don't. The main thing is to apply the unscented pheros, let them dry down, and then apply your choice of scent. Unscented doesn't necessarily mean "UNSCENTED".....it just means no scent ADDED. Some of the pheros can be stinky, and they NEED a cover. Others, not so much.

    GOOD LUCK!!

  6. Hi yes Pherotine!! Can't wait to order!

Dolly Medium is on its way to me along with Sugared Oud. I will have to try the others too. So many foodie scents. I like some too. I've ordered a sample of LO Red so can't wait to try that too! Yes the OCCO collection looks awesome. I do have the EoW so I may need some non cop pheros. Unscientific LAM is coming too.i have to see which pheros I will order for Pherotine!!

Yeah, I don't do many foodies.....my man doesn't care much for them either. I will occasionally do a vanilla or a fruity blend (can't wait for Drive By Fruiting and LOVE scented Cougar). My man does like OCCO white, which is vanilla vanilla (and more vanilla), and also LAM original and LAM brown sugar. I like LAM sandalwood and resins because it is very light after drydown, very unobtrusive (almost not there, but enough scent to cover the cops). Can be layered well too.....LAM is a staple in my house!

Red is GREAT, not too foody....very sexy.....it is FAB layered with Black too! Sugared amber......sugared patchouli.....sugared frank and myrrh......all great darker ones......

One of my fave non-copped pheros for everyday, general use is Open Windows! A definite must! A real mood lifter! May help with that grumpy child you said you have......

  7. Hi there! Just got around to reading your intro thread......I am one who likes the darker, earthy scents, too. Some of the ones that are still available that you may want to try are Medium, Burnt Umber, and Wicked. Also, if you like LP Black, you absolutely MUST get some OCCO Black to layer with it.....YOWZA!

Glad you are enjoying the products here!!

  8. Welcome! Glad you are enjoying the wonderful potions here!

While pheros are created with a purpose in mind, the effect is not always what it is intended to be. Every wearer and every target is different. Some people get self-effects, and some are non-responders.

So, just continue to test your blends and see how things go! Here's a tip....try them with some people you are well-acquainted with, so you can more easily gauge reactions that are out of the norm.

  9. Thanks for the feedback. What are the most appropriate settings to use Wanted Man? I'm assuming it's less inviting than SS4M?

Well, my man just used it when I was with him. I just noticed that a lot more men seemed to almost "challenge" him....mostly the younger guys. I would probably say that I wouldn't wear around a group of younger men, those who emit a lot of testosterone already.

  10. LP Black is growing on me :heart708: I started the sniffie out on a first trial thinking, "This is too serious for me," and tonight being the fourth/fifth time I've worn it, I'm convinced that I should full bottle this one. I actually don't want to run out!

It might be because it's wintertime and I'm indeed looking for that cozy, down to earth feel, or perhaps this scent has got me going goth. I'd say it's suiting some of the events happening in my life, so that's probably what's got me feeling like the Addams Family (I've been feeling like Wednesday recently) :frankenstein-s-brids:

LP Black is one that I am never without. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT
