  1. We need a nose hairs status update over here, LV. Inquiring (nosy??) minds want to know!
  2. Mrs. QG has thoughtfully suggested that's the best approach. We all practice her patented eye rolls on a regular basis.
  3. And that gorgeous purple bag is well worth it, peeps!! It.is. BEEYOOTIFUL. Definitely a Swag Bag. A Swing Bling. All of that and more. Oops. I mean -- (raises hand and waves it around) -- I didn't get mine!!!!!! Yeah. Send another, please!!!
  4. Thanks for the update, Hearts! So glad I grabbed a bottle of this! I adore rose milk because its so soft and warm yet long lasting. I think you've suggested the perfect pheros to go with it. Can't wait for my bottle to get here!
  5. Mara is no flasher! Everything is posted ahead of time, and we all circle the boat waiting for the chum to drop. The initial rush is everyone reading the rules and checking out the available bottles, and plotting . . . plotting . . . plotting! ETA: Oh, and grabbing what you really really want before it's all gone, of course!
  6. YOU are the reason we had to add the scowling nun icon, QG!!!
  7. Thanks to Halo, I finally got to try this. It's wonderful! The initial jab of lavender lasts about five seconds and then it morphs into this CLOUD (there's just no better word for it) of soft comfort as the other notes weave in. I've never been able to describe a fragrance as "welcoming" before, but this about sums it up. It slowly wraps around you and envelops you in this soft, downy cloud of relaxation and carries you off to a warm, dreamy place you never want to leave. I slept so well last night wearing this! I am so happy I was able to nab a FB. BC, you done good! Very very good!
  8. Yeah, this one is calling me, too. Is there any hint of pine?
  9. Yes, only once. I keep forgetting about your generous offer! My oversight shall soon be corrected. Thank you, Mara! ETA: I see where I was getting the 1,300 -- that's how many points I can spend. WHOOOP!!! *waddles off with pencil in beak to plot new order*
  10. Mara -- I think last time I redeemed was at 1300 points, is that somewhere close to reality? Thank you!
  11. Yes! Confirming earlier post -- White Velvet Rose and Wet/Nasty -- and adding Soft & Summery. Thank you!
  12. Yes, we've missed you, dear Batsy Cuddle Bunny! Don't disappear on us like that -- we worry!
  13. Enjoy dinner and a well deserved break! We'll be back here waiting!
  14. Mara, may I reserve a Wet & Nasty and a White Velvet Rose, please? May add to that once the descriptions are added. Thank you! ETA: My apologies for three posts in a row -- got carried away getting caught up.
  15. OOOOOoooooo -- Dolly, this sounds absolutely wonderful! I want a FB just based on your description!
  16. CuR -- I LOVE wearing this one when I'm in the mood for something totally different. Have you ever tried the commercial unisex fragrance, Chergui? It's a bit on the masculine side, too, and Mark's Tonka Tobacum lends that same kind of vibe for me. Except I like Mark's Tonka Tobacum better than the Chergui.
  17. I tried this one when it first arrived, gave it a quick "meh" sniff, and stuck it back in its cute little holder. Yesterday I saw it again, dabbed a bit, inhaled, and was immediately transported to Purple Heaven! This stuff is GORGEOUS! I do not like violets, and am thrilled purple that my chemistry hides the violet in this one and lets the other scents bloom. It is a full-bodied, well-rounded fragrance that puts a smile on my face. It's just a gosh-darn HAPPY scent! This one definitely gets added to my FB list.
  18. Hi, CuR! Yes, I bought both sets of the Totem samples. Goat definitely has gotten the highest rating on the EA Scale. Panda and Beaver came in close behind, at about 7 and 8, respectively. The others received their share of attention, but Goat ALWAYS got rave elevator reviews.
  19. Out of all of the Totems, this one garners the most Elevator Attention. Each time I wear this, peeps on the elevator ask me what I'm wearing, or they sniff the air around me, or just look at me without saying anything, trying to place the scent. Of course, when I tell them what it is, I will ALWAYS get some wise guy who makes some less-than-clever comment about goat perfume . . . Others, however, make careful note of the LPMP name! So, on the EA (Elevator Attention) Scale, Totem Goat rates a clear 9 out of 10.
  20. This one lives up to its namesake, as it is such a sneaky sleeper. You think slow, plodding, lumbering. But right when you think it's a pretty unexciting scent, it wakes up! And it's suddenly an elephant dancing on its toes, graceful, powerful, and awesome. The brightness lasts for a bit, then moves into an inexplicably uplifting yet ineffable fragrance that continues its metamorphosis through several more delightful phases. Does it ever "settle"? We're at the 30 minute mark and it's still playing strong. Very fresh. I never thought I'd be wanting a bottle of perfume called "Elephant." Thanks to the enigmatic Mara, I still don't -- I want two bottles of a perfume called "Elephant"! Thanks for creating this one, Mara! It's quite an olfactory journey!
  21. No worries, DD -- you'll be among friends and see many familiar avi's!
