Foodie flowers can go either way with me but I have t try them because I can't know until I do! Lurv Pithivier, Highland Fling, Lep Luck, A treasure of Amethyst....there's hope for me in floral foodies!

When I did my first "wave by nose sniffing" of the bottle tonight I did think "something smells kind of medicine like". But that was on the very first whiff, I thought that would be highly unlikely so I of course snuffled a few more times before applying to both wrists and figured my shnoz was just messing with me but maybe it was something of the lavender? On application it was super sweet - completely unexpected! (I only just looked up the notes tonight after applying). On dry down it's distinctly floral forward (lotus?) but sweet and...clean? And during dry down I agree with the something a "bit pointy" but it settles to a dreamy light perfect for bedtime scent (I'm saying that because I'll be crashing shortly and this will be wonderful to drift off with) but I could see wearing this as a day or evening scent. Once it dries down it clings really close to my skin, which I like because my skin can amp some florals. But when I get really close to my arm it seems more sweet and then when I back away a few inches it seems more floral...CRAZY. But over all, although it isn't something I would have ordered for myself, we like each other and this one is fresh and feminine and I think it will be great for spring and summer and I've got a fb to play with!

This one, for me at least, IS very aromatic and noticeable...not a knock you over in a bad way though...it's like becoming a tasty treat and everyone you walk by WILL turn to try to figure out where that yummy smell is coming from. People go NUTS over it when I wear it. You should at least try the sample if you think you'll like it. For me, the ginger is like a "gingersnap" on me, like that delicious cinnamon butter vanilla cream cookie goodness I ALWAYS slather this one

That's a great question because I had always thought it would be the beginning of the month but it seems it can be anywhere from a week to 2 weeks into the month. But Mara's been super busy lately so maybe that isn't the norm? Could more seasoned LPers shed some light on this?

I had this same thing happen with Sex and Violins. Identically, lol, the "not for me" but then just put a dab on last weekend from one and was like, "wow, this is really nice" Go figure! Does this mean we should just buy fbs of everything cuz we're just going to love everything anyway?!
