Batch Difference for Honeyed LP

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies, Ive heard from a few of you who expressed concern over different bottles of Honeyed LP smelling differently. A customer was kind enough to send one of the bottles that smelled differently to Mara for further investigation. Mara realized that she made one batch with a different type of honey. Instead of the darker, smuttier, sexy type of honey, she made one batch with a lighter more Spring like honey. People are missing that sexy evocative honey. So, if you are one of our customers who prefers the smutty, dirtier honey and is not happy with the lighter honey, please email me at :

lpfragrancescustomersrvc@ymail.com

Or message me on Facebook if that is easier and let me know that youd like a replacement. I need to know if youve bought the sample size or the full bottle as well. Mara is brewing a new batch and will replace them for those who are not happy. I just need to compile a list so she knows how much to brew.

Thanks to you all for your patience and understanding about this inadvertent ingredient mix up. We love you and want you to be happy with your perfumes. ???

Interesting. I have 3 samples and a FB and thought there was a difference in them but figured it was just me or settling, etc. I will go back and resniff. Thanks for offering this!!

Is this the one with Gotcha in it? Mine has a really intense apricot scent and not much honey. I thought that was how it was supposed to smell. No complaints here, it smells summery.

I emailed. Yes, I have one sample with a GREAT honey, and the other two samples and the full bottle SCREAM apricot. I had sat them aside to try again and see if it was a settling issue, but I just applied one strip of each, and they are still VERY different. I did prefer the honey....it was lovely. The other one is not my friend...and now I smell like it after trying them and letting them dry down. I remember trying one of the apricot ones after getting it and being like..WHOA.

That must be the one I have. I have a full bottle and it's intensely apricot, so I only use a little bit, then mix it with a vanilla scent. It lasts on my skin for a long time.

I emailed - I'm keeping my fingers crossed this means I might be able to buy a few more to hoard! This is my favorite scent EVER and I so so SO appreciate Mara and the LPMP crew helping me figure this out.

Wondered why the sample bottle and the full bottle smelled so different, but thought the sample might have had longer to age. Got the same impression as tinkerbelle on the scents

Hmmm. The (2015)? label on my newer one got turned purple, and since there was only a half bottle left, I made it into a spray. But since it has cops, I really only mist myself with it post shower and before bed. After I saw this, I opened my back-up FB, label on it says 2009, it's from a trade. So I tested, spray on forearm, oil on back of hand. There was a difference at first, spray is lighter and brighter, and hand was warmer. Forty-five minutes later, they smelled the same, or I was working my sniffer too hard. Now I can sense a minute difference, but it's not enough to care. I think it's going to work out for me great, a little throw in the brighter one, and then once he's ensnared and moves in closer, he'll want to take a bite. It's a very complex man trap. It works for me like this, and I'm glad I'm moving my "reserve" Honey'd LP forward into the current line up.
