Dead Man's Float: A festive sweet - a frothy old fashioned Root Beer and Ice Cream treat! We've been bottling up the new releases here, and Danna and I are just so blown away by how amazing *Dead Man's Float* came out, that I had to post a review of it myself. We managed to reproduce the most genuine sense of effervescence, that when you open the bottle, you actually feel like there's real bubbles tickling your nose. I kept catching myself recapping the bottle thinking I was going to let the bubbles escape! And the Sassafras accord we used makes the Root Beer smell 100% authentic. For the ice cream, I used a dozen different types of vanilla plus other ingredients that so perfectly captures the vibe, that when I smell the finished product I can FEEL a round, creamy ball of vanilla ice cream on the back of my tongue. Ahhh, I can't stop sniffing myself. You have to try this one!

Thank you for the kind words, Gale! Carnation is such a surprising scent, to me anyway. (It was the core ingredient for our beautiful (sold out) Lover's Reunion Potion, which I adored.) Even though the scent of carnation gives a light impression, it really grabs hold and weaves itself through the other ingredients. I love the unique peppery note in carnations. The aroma of them adds a degree of elegance I think, don't you?

Hi, A-Mused! You are welcome to start your own threads at any time. Currently, there is no regular newsletter. We used to send a newsletter when we only did large quarterly releases on the Solstice/Equinox, but now our schedule is fixed for monthly releases - the middle of each month. We occassionally send notes around when we are having a sale or will be at a trade show/convention in your area. However, Danna set up some myspace type of blogs here and there, and if you sign up to be a 'friend' on one of those, you will be alerted every month when she posts the new releases. I'd better let her explain that, I'll ask her to post later. Ah, bottles! We recently switched to larger bottles, and here is a picture of an unlabeled one. They are .33 fl.oz. (10 ml) with a roll-on attachment. A representation of each label is shown on the order pages.

Indeed it is quite similar. Cindy at Magical Omaha asked specifically for a combination of LP: RED and Sugared Amber for this exclusive, which was her favorite combo to wear on herself. So it's the recipe of LP RED with a TON of extra Amber in it, and also half a dozen sugars which are not usually present in RED.

LOL, Whiskers! Sorry, honey, that one has been on our list forever. We plan potions many months in advance, and often people suggest things that are similar to what we have planned. That happens a lot with the sugared scents especially. We're generous with credit, and always let people know if they inspire a scent.

Yo! Check us out in this week's IN TOUCH WEEKLY MAGAZINE, just out today! We created a Custom Perfume for Jillian Barberie Reynolds of FOX's Good Day L.A. and FOX's NFL Sunday to celebrate her baby shower. The event was hosted by Chris and Bruce Jenner, and other celebrity attendees included Heather Locklear, Kim Cardassian, Constance Marie from the George Lopez Show and several of Jillian's costars. Each of the 60 guests received a 1/4 ounce bottle of our JILLIAN PERFUME, and Jillian herself also received a $250 one-of-a-kind hand-crafted beaded necklace with a cobalt perfume bottle pendant holding 1/4 ounce of her custom blend. This gift was conceived with my fabulously creative friends, IN TOUCH Editors Kevin Dickson and Steve Gidlow. The latter may be recognizable to AMERICAN IDOL fans for his TV Guide Channel reports throughout the season... And speaking of TV Guide...this week's mag has a writeup on the upcoming season of Stan Lee's "Superhero" reality show. Sugared Red Berries ~ Sugared sweetened Strawberries, Raspberries, Cranberries, Currants and a splash of Yuzu. (Japanese citrus fruit) A delightful summer treat! (Note: this blend contains alcohol) Sugared Egyptian Musk ~ Beautiful! Our Egyptian Musk is light, sexy, smokey and powdery. (Not 'soapy' smelling as some other musks tend to be.) We added our blend of 6 sugars - and this time added an extra layer of Sugar Cane, for a lighter, slightly fruitier sugar note. It's awesome. Fans of Sugared Egyptian Sandalwood should love this one too.

D'OH! I forgot to mention another FAB beachy scent that we'll be releasing in June, called "Pirate Bumbo"! I put a short descrip in the new releases for June folder on the boards. It's awesome - a boozy island umbrella drink kind of aroma with a real Pirate-y pedigree! Board member "Ilsa" came up with the idea - love it! YAY for Ilsa!
