So this one ended up really strong on me, I think I am amping the wood elements in this, because that was all I could smell. Thought I would love this one, but I'm not getting any of the fruit or floral, just really masculine on me, bummer.

I just want to say, this is GREAT for work. It very much fosters a "we are a team" feeling, even with people who normally have tension working together. Think I might have to wear this tomorrow, as I have a tough Monday ahead!

Mmmmm, LOVE THIS!! Nice, juicy apricot fruit drizzled with a sweet honey, not dirty at all on me. After it settles a bit, the patchouly comes out, it's a creamy, subtle spiciness that really compliments the sweetness of the honeyed fruit. And of course, the Gotcha just makes me instantly grin from ear to ear like a happy fool, heh. So glad I took a chance on this!

So I wore this to work yesterday. The Gotcha made everyone super-chatty, it was ridiculous! One co-worker, who can go from zero- to-bitch in no time flat, stayed in such a great mood all day!! No drama. No tears. This woman thrives on that crap. She was actually fun to be around! Gotcha. Some amazing stuff!!

Calii, is the honey in this like the honey in Torrid Sorcery? I love the honey in that one. The cops in the BI goes a little crazy on me after a few hours, but until then, yum!

I wore this to work yesterday, because I thought it would be fun to be slinky and sexy on Friday. A little dab of my sample of Goddess of the Blue Moon, and 2 sprays of my La Femme trial spray, one to chest, and one to hair. I tried it this way because I can't really go overboard with fragrance at work, but wanted to give LFM a fair shot. The effects were very different from what I was expecting, very surprising! It made me more.....decisive, confident, take-charge of the situation kinda vibe, but not in a dominant, bitchy way. I felt very "on" with my capabilities of my job. And in voicing my suggestions, everyone was willing to get on board and try it, instead of ignoring them like before, I think because I'm more on the quiet, reserved side. I had to work with a guy who has a reputation for being difficult and losing his cool every now and then, and he was a lot more respectful. On the downside, I could tell when it started to wear off around 3 pm, as he started to get grumbly. But at the end of the day, he thanked me repeatedly for a great day and wished me a nice weekend. Not typical behavior for him! So I went and read the description for this, "empowering" is a good word for this! For work this is a winner for me.

Ack!! Just made my order, and forgot to add this! Next month for sure!!

Wow, can't believe I haven't reviewed this one yet, Cougar Potion made me a phero believer! I tried this one about a week before Haloween, it was one of the free gifts, or "sniffies" I think they are called. I hadn't yet checked out the boards, so I didn't realize that Cougar Potion had pheros in it. All I know is that I loved the fragrance, it's so yummy! I put a dab between my cleavage, a dab on my stomach, dab on my chest, and a dab on the back of my neck. Mmmm, nice! Like a rich, musky vanilla with a splash of grapefruit. Is there vanilla in this? Or just sugars? Well, so I get to work, and that's when the fun started, hee hee! This woman I work with, well she basically followed me around all morning chatting up a storm, even when it was clearly evident that we both had work to do. She's known as "Ms. Business" and NEVER acts like that. Like ever. Everyone kept telling me how nice I looked, have I been working out? Lost weight? HUH!?? I'm wearing a uniform, just like the day before, and the day before that, etc. At lunch, everyone sat at the same table I was at, people usually like to spread out. This other woman, who is codial with the staff, but that is ALL, was gabbing with me like I was her best friend! She was even asking my advice about what costumes her and her husband should wear for a party! I could barely get a hello from her before. Later, I feel someone watching me. I look up, and it's this nice looking guy staring at me. So I smile at him, yet he doesn't smile back, he just keeps on staring, with a slightly dazed look on his face. My first DIHL, Woo Hoo!!! It was almost like people were noticing me for the first time, I got compliments on jewelry and accessories that I've worn for months now. What a wonderfully weird day, I thought. It wasn't until later that I checked out the boards, and almost fell out of my chair when I read the reviews for Cougar. I immediately ordered a bottle, it's already a quarter gone! I don't wear it everyday, but when I need that extra boost of feel-good confidence, this is what I reach for. I have gotten more subtle hits at work with Cougar, but nothing so dramatic as my first time. I love this stuff, please don't ever quit making it!

Aw, I so wanted to smell like almond cookies with this one, but alas, it turned very weird on me. I got the initial blast of almond while wet, then it went all funky! I think I now know what the term "plasticky" means now, cause that's what happened, then ten minutes later, it was gone, nothing, no fragrance. I put it away and tried it two weeks later, same thing, so bummed! I wanted to try this to give the LFN a spin, it smells so nice in the vial, I can't believe my skin chemistry turns it so drastically different. Boo.

I'm loving my sample of Topper! It's a great pick-me-up, especially in the late afternoon. Gives me that "get up and go" that I need, and puts me in a great mood. On my list for a full bottle!

I just got a sample of The Perfumed Whisker last month, and I love it! Geez, I will have to try this one, too. I'm gonna have to make some tough choices, I can't buy everything! ;(

I'm very interested in this one, since I love Fuzzy Wuzzy, which is a cakey-floral.

A honeyed, fruitier version of LP??? With Gotcha to boot?? This sounds AMAZING!! This might have to be the first time ever I order something unsniffed!!

Just in time for my winter-parched skin here in the northeast! Lavender marshmallow at bedtime sounds divine! Are these gonna be lighter in fragrance than the regular LP's?

Wow, LOVE Fuzzy Wuzzy!! Think of a gourmet cupcake from the top down. Envision candied lavender blossoms resting on a pillow of the richest vanilla- lavender buttercream. Now the densest, most yummiest vanilla cake, swirled with the most decadent caramel brown-sugar center and swirl, OMG, what a treat, and I'm wearing it tonight! LOOOOVE EEETT.

Well, I have to say, at first the mention of pachouli sends me running in the opposite direction. BUT!! I could not resist the reviews on this, so I ordered a trial vial. BUT!!! Have we all not been there, in the soup isle, grocery shopping, minding our own business , when you round the corner to the next aisle, and, SLAP!!! In the face with some really gnarly fumes, and you want to give the offender a REAL GOOD evil eye, the 'ole stink eye, BUT!!! there's no one there. No one in the isle to blame. Yeah, I hate that shit. Until Love Potion Red changed my mind. A creamy cinnamon-French toast Fest with some very subtle, classy patchouli in the background, and when everything fades and all that's left is the patchouli, that's the one you wish would stay at the end of the party, spicy, but subtle, very nice! I love how this one has changed my perception from hating patchouli, to saying, "this is SO gonna work! WOW!!" ?

So I thought I would try my UN trial spray of this around the house on New Year's Day just to see how I would feel with it before I start wearing it out. Two sprays, on the chest. I was busy putting away the Christmas stuff, feeling alright, happy, a bit energized, etc. Then I happened to catch my reflection in the hall mirror. I stopped dead, then disgustedly started picking at my T-shirt, and said, "Girl, you gotta go shopping! Now put down that box and go put on something nicer!" So that's what I did. Put on a nice blouse, some nice slacks, and sandals! To put away Christmas crap. I am very much a jeans-and-T-shirt kind of gal, comfort is king, if you know what I mean. I work in healthcare, so I get to wear scrubs for twelve hours, with comfy shoes. It must be the more sophisticated side being encouraged to come out, right? :-D So what I want to know is which one of the "seven veils of feminine mystery" is the fashion police? LOL!

At first, when I tried this out, I thought it was a little too masculine for me. But after about 20 minutes, the vanilla and maple came out more and made it sweeter, nice! I wore this to do some holiday shopping with my son, he's in his twenties, and tends to clam up if I ask him what's new in his life, job, etc. Well, he was definitely more chatty, it wasn't like pulling teeth to get him to talk! We had a great time, even though we both hate the mall, and especially when it is mobbed with frantic last-minute shoppers. Perfect Match? Yes, pretty much the name sums it up, just perfect. ?
