  1. I'm glad to hear that! A full bottle of this will be going into my next order then! I appreciate your help, @luna65! 😊

What a great experience, @Amanda! How did you answer when they asked if you work in a bakery? 🍞 The relationship between you and your mother sounds very wholesome, by the way. πŸ₯°

    Supra

This was my first impression of Supra: I've had this for 10-11 days now and the most apparent scent to me is the champagne, specifically its bubbly/effervescent aspect. I think that's the part that gives me fresh vibes. I'm somewhat getting soapiness too, but I'm not sure if that's the effervescence at work or the amber. Perhaps both. Something in this reminds me so much of Sneaky Clean. This gives me various fresh, clean vibes. One sniff, I think of a bubble bath. Next sniff, I think of washing my hands by the kitchen sink. Next, I'm thinking of bathroom cleaning. While Sneaky Clean is more like the scent from the aftermath of cleaning, this is the scent when cleaning is still happening: while the water is still running and there are still lots of bubbles. 🧼🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🚿 I'm not getting the same dessert-type scent from this as others seem to be getting. I think if I did, this might have been more up my alley. This is not the type of scent I'm looking for at the moment, but its freshness makes me think that this is better as a spray. Even better because the label would be more visible in that form and it is just gorgeous! (A big reason why I ordered a sample, to be honest. Lol.)

    Pumpkin Pink

This was my Day 0 impression of Pumpkin Pink: I've had this for 10 days now and I've been testing this on and off. I am usually very hesitant about Autumn scents that contain pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon because of the overwhelming candle scents that I sometimes encounter, but this one is light and approachable. Part of me now thinks it's light to me due to the marshmallow, but I asked Mr. Onyx about its potency and he said it's light compared to Flying Potion (2023). I still get pumpkin at first and everything else is just blended well. Although I am still unsure if I actually get what pink smells like, the impression I get is fleshy pumpkin pink. πŸŽƒπŸ’— Mr. Onyx says, "This smells like Juicy Fruit but with a little bit of a light floral scent." He also mentioned detecting a banana scent. 🍌 I asked Mr. Onyx if he could believe this has sandalwood, and he likes woody scents so he took another sniff. He said that it's covered up by the bubblegum smell. It seems he's picking up on that bubblegum scent similar to @LyndaH. I think this is the one that I'm most interested in getting a full bottle of from 'Weenies 2023, but I'm more interested in Love Potion: Pink Lace and that one smells more like Juicy Fruit to me. I do agree with this being a fragrance for spraying. It's so light and cute! I can imagine wearing this during a Halloween party dressed as a witch, but the party's at work and you're just being casual and not trying to be deeply in character, so you're keeping the whole vibe friendly and wholesome, even the scent you're wearing! πŸͺ„πŸŽƒπŸ’—βœ¨
  5. This was my first impression of Flying Potion (2023): I've had this for 10 days now and it still smells the same to me. It reminds me of a root beer drink with marshmallows floating on top. I think the liquorice and vanilla may be the ones giving me the soda vibe. It is quite light and very sprayable, but it's too faint for me. I only really smell this if I get very close to my skin. Mr. Onyx said, "This one reminds me of a flower, sort of. Like a meadow. Like a musky flower." I think he might have been detecting the ylang-ylang. I asked him if he likes it, and he said, "It's okay, but it's quite strong." This is very interesting because I find it very faint! I even asked him which is more potent: Ever Moor (currently on my left arm) or Flying Potion (on my right arm). He said the one on my right arm is stronger to him. 😱 I think I might be somewhat desensitized to marshmallow notes or accords. I have a different fragrance which is just marshmallow and it also smelled very faint to me when I tried it. I thought it just needs rest. Other fragrances that have marshmallows but not as their main note did not seem to have the same issue for me. Interestingly, I can smell this better when it's somewhat farther away from me. With my arm down, I can catch better whiffs of that fluffy marshmallow and a hint of that root beer-esque vibe. When I lift my arm to my nose, it hides. 🫣 I can still smell it, but it's more spices than marshmallow. I will leave my sample alone for a long time. I want to properly smell this later in its full effect. I think I can still smell how it is, but its potency is currently severely diminished for me.

    Ever Moor

This was my first impression of Ever Moor: It's been 10 days now since I got my sample. This one is potent! A smidgen goes a long way. I no longer detect the green apple scent from this. It also lasts for a long time. I think I could still detect it 5 hours later even from just a minute amount. The throw is pretty good too. This is one of those green, grass scents though that smell too clean for me. I tried adding some seaweed to this (from Amanda's Beach Sol) and I know this is far away from the beach, but I thought maybe some saltiness might be a good stand-in for the petrichor smell. I think it did add a little something to it, but I mostly just got saltiness at the back of my throat again lol. Mr. Onyx said, "This is nice. Smells like men's deodorant: Pure Sport." I don't have that on hand to compare though, and most of the descriptions I could see online were more abstract and do not have the actual notes. (Pure Sport Plus makes you smell sporty like a champion not sporty like a locker room.) He thinks this leans more Masculine, but Unisex works too. Ultimately, I agree with what Mila said. It is too green for me as well. I knew that was a likelihood when I decided to order the sample. I honestly got this mostly due to the beautiful label and the description! I also thought that perhaps Mr. Onyx might like this. He does think it is nice, though when I asked him which one he prefers: Ever Moor or Reliquary, he chose the latter.
  7. Thank you, @luna65! I'm not looking into using it directly on any babies but I am wondering if it's safe to wear if I'm around babies or children. I really like the scent of this one but I want to be cautious around sensitive little ones.
  8. This was my first impression of Garland & Lace (2023): It was very faint for me on Day 0 and still is very faint on Day 10, unfortunately. There are a few scents in 'Weenies 2023 that are not as strong for me, but I think this has the least throw. I've even slathered it. I have to really get in there to smell it! I thought it might just be my skin, but I applied a generous amount on a tissue and it's still quite faint. What I can smell of this though, is very nice. Before, I was mostly identifying the gingerbread. Now that I've somewhat made myself sick from drinking eggnog these past few days, I can recognize it here now too. πŸ˜† It's actually the forefront scent for me now. From the tissue, I'm getting whiffs of eggnog, while I'm getting gingerbread and pumpkin pie from my arm. I think the part of this that is reminiscent of Love Potion: Red for me might be the amber, or perhaps the amber and vanilla notes used may be similar. As I am typing this review, I am getting more whiffs of this from the tissue. When I put my nose up to it, I detect the faintest trace of this, but far away I can smell it so well. It smells so nice, delicious, and creamy! Are you kidding me? The tissue gives it more throw than my skin!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ My verdict is: if this worked for my skin, I would probably get a full bottle. This is such a delicious blend that I'd really like to wear during ✨Christmas✨. It's a very nice mΓ©lange of holiday foodie scents without being overwhelming. Unfortunately, perhaps due to its deliciousness, my skin just eats this up so much. I will try this on a blouse, perhaps that might give this better sillage.

    Reliquary

I'm not sure what's with my skin, but the fresh, green apple scent in this lasted loooong for me during the first few days! 🍏🍏🍏🍏🍏 This was my Day 0 impression of Reliquary. It was one of the Day 0 'Weenies 2023 standouts for me: I've had this for 9-10 days now so it should have gotten some rest, but I also went travelling with my samples so there's a chance it may have travel shock again lol. I put this on again now and it's still very fresh, green apples when wet. 🍏🍏🍏 After around 10 minutes, I started smelling smoke behind the green apple. πŸπŸπŸ’¨ The transition from fresh apple to burnt apple has become more gradual now. Before, it took perhaps close to an hour of fresh, green apples before it went to the burnt part for me! Around 40 or 50 minutes later, the apple is gone, leaving behind a sweet, smoked wood scent. πŸ”₯πŸͺ΅πŸ’¨ Now that I have a more rounded sample, this is not a full bottle for me. I still think that it's very interesting due to its nice layers, but I don't want to smell like a burnt apple. Mr. Onyx said after sniffing my arm with this on while it was still wet, "Smells nice. Like teakwood and vanilla." Point to Mr. Onyx since he was quite close! He was happy when I showed him that this has sandalwood and vanilla. I asked him to sniff this again after it dried down, and he said it smelled similar to him and he still thinks it smells nice. To be honest, that makes me reconsider getting a full bottle lol. But, I think I'll just stick to the sample for now. However, I am considering putting this on one of my cozy pullovers later. I have a feeling this is one of those scents that I want to smell but don't want to smell like. This scent makes me think of staying in an elegant and cozy winter lodge with sandalwood fixtures. I can imagine relaxing there on a chilly winter night. I would be staring at the fireplace in the living room while my loved ones would be doing various wind-down activities. If I put this on a pullover, I think it might give me the vibe that I'm reminiscing about that nice time we had in the lodge. πŸ’— PS: This is intended for Women based on its tag in the Shoppe and colour coding in the Cheat Sheet, but I think this could actually be Unisex. I asked Mr. Onyx and he thinks it's Neutral, but if he had to choose, he thinks it leans more Masculine.
  10. Very interesting reviews! I was hoping this was one of the ones that had samples again after the post-sale inventory was updated.
  11. Thank you, Mara! Such welcome news! I missed some of the old releases and saw some of the ones I'm interested in available for samples and full bottles!
  12. I'll keep trying Reliquary! I would also like to get that buttery apple! I keep getting fresh, fresh, fresh apple... then burnt and smoke! Haha. You're so right, @Amanda! @luna65 did such a great job with the description! Ever Moor is honestly not my type of scent (the outlier in the ones I ordered) but I got it because of the description! The part that got me was the "Autumnal hike through rainy Highland fields..." because it reminds me of Scotland and having some family roots there appeals to me.
  13. I'm curious if anyone who's gotten both this and the 'Weenies 2023 version has any reviews for comparison?
  14. @Potion Master it's pretty great how you put in the effervescence! It's usually a texture for me but I can smell it!
  15. You do such a great job with the descriptions and are very integrated with everything that I thought you lived nearby! You all have great teamwork! LOL @Amanda! πŸ˜† And thank you! I didn't quite rub them but I did swipe all the samples all over my arms! I'm glad you are enjoying Vessel! It's an unexpected standout for me. I'm not getting the bread, but perhaps that's because I'm more attuned to pralines due to hazelnut pralinΓ©. I like that childhood scent memory for you. 😊
  16. First Impressions: I blind-sniffed all of these to see if I could identify them. I was able to differentiate all except for Pumpkin Pink, Pumpkin Lavender Donut, Flying Potion, and Supra. I need to go back and try these by themselves since I could barely smell some of them due to having another scent nearby. These are mostly impressions on sniffs from the bottle, upon application, and the initial stages of dry down. I was mostly focused on trying to see if I could identify them. πŸ˜… When the review threads are up, I will come back to give actual reviews. Ever Moor: Very green and very fresh. I smell a green apple somehow although that's not in the notes. It's quite potent and covered the smell of another scent I was trying to test nearby. I don't know if I like it yet. I'm waiting to see how it evolves after some rest. Mr. Onyx might like this. Flying Potion: It smelled somewhat boozy and sparkly in the bottle and then kind of like soda when I applied it. I guessed that this was Flying Potion, but then I changed it to Pumpkin Pink, and apparently, it actually is Flying Potion! I need to test this again later. Garland & Lace: I initially got some spice, I think gingerbread? I also got a whiff of something that reminds me of the signature Love Potion scent based on my sniffie of Love Potion: Red. It smells very faint to me though. I think I was only able to identify this due to gingerbread. I'm not sure if it's just a scent closer to the skin and is being overwhelmed by the other scents I put on. I need to try this again later. Poe de CrΓ¨me: It smelled like powdery chocolate in the bottle. After application, I could smell the cherry! I think this could benefit from resting. It kind of smells somewhat separated to me at the moment probably due to travel shock. I got a musky impression during the initial stages of dry down. Now that I sniff this again as I type this, it smells more blended and actually really, really nice. I'm not getting the powdery chocolate anymore but more of the boozy cherry with something. I look forward to testing this again after some rest. Pumpkin Latte: Just from the bottle, I was pretty sure this was Pumpkin Latte. The initial sniff from it was coffee. This is really nice. I don't know if it really smells like pumpkin latte since I have not tried that yet. I've tried the more dessert-leaning pumpkin spice lattes that were frozen and very sweet, with very strong nutmeg/cinnamon/whatever spices they usually use. This reminds me of hazelnut coffee. I look forward to seeing how this changes as it rests. Pumpkin Lavender Donut: Initially smelled boozy though I could barely smell this because I had Ever Moor close by. I thought it was Supra or Pumpkin Pink. I need to test this again because this smelled faint on me. Pumpkin Pink: This was the one I was most confused by. I initially got pumpkin, then thought I got something boozy with spice, so I thought it might have been Poe de CrΓ¨me, but I didn't get cherry. Then I thought perhaps it's Pumpkin Lavender Donut. Then I thought maybe Reliquary but I wasn't getting any apple. It smelled light so I thought okay maybe Supra or Pumpkin Pink. I settled on Pumpkin Lavender Donut somehow. I need to test this again. Reliquary: Smelled fresh in the bottle and smelled like fresh apple upon application. I don't smell the burnt sugar. It has a very nice, fresh scent. When it started drying down though, I smelled the burnt sugar! Wow! It truly smells burnt! I'm sniffing it again as I type this and I'm no longer getting the apple. Just the smoke. Very interesting. It's as if the apple got burnt and eventually just... disappeared. I don't know yet if I like this enough to get a full bottle, but this is very interesting and somewhat magical. Supra: It's fruity in the bottle. It smelled fresh upon application. I thought it might have been Flying Potion or Vampire Bunny. I need to test this again. Vampire Bunny: Fruity. Nice, elegant smell. I thought it was Flying Potion but when I kept coming back to it, I realized it must be Vampire Bunny since I really liked Cuddle Bunny so much. I'm not getting a strong smoke scent on this yet @ivy_fiddlefox, but I'm getting a strong blueberry. Vessel: Initially got a powdery burnt smell. I thought it was Reliquary because of that, but I didn't smell the apple. Then I realized I think I might be getting the powdery impression from the pralines! I was able to identify this as Vessel! Going back to this on dry down, I don't get the burnt smell anymore. It's like a sweet mix with the praline being the frontmost accord to me. Another very interesting one. It's like the initial scent was something coming out of the oven and it becomes sweeter as it cools down. I highlighted the current standouts to me. The ones I was most interested in (with the exception of Vampire Bunny) aren't that distinct to me yet. I think my standouts will change and it's likely I'll prefer different ones for getting a full bottle. Overall, I really enjoyed the samples I've tested from 'Weenies 2023! I am really curious how this list and my impressions will change as my samples get more rest.
  17. I just received my package! I like the little satin bag the samples came in! πŸ¦‡
  18. I was surprised to get the fast shipping notification! Mine should hopefully be arriving this week. I hope to get it before travelling so I can try it this month! 😱 I thought you lived in pick-up range from the shop!
  19. That's so cool! Some of the scents you've made truly reminded me of some existing food products! πŸͺπŸ‘πŸˆ Oh wow! She still got it even after a vinegar soak! πŸ˜‚
  20. Oh, I looked it up and it's very interesting. I'm reading some articles on it now. Do you use this often for scents that you make? Are there any updates on this? πŸ˜†
  21. Love Potion: Pink Lace is soooo goood! 😍 This is my favourite out of all the Pherotine 2023 releases that I've tried! When I did a blind sniff on Day 0, I thought this was Katje because of the very bright peach scent. πŸ‘ It's now Day 11 and it still smells the same! I think the peach that I'm detecting might be the combination of peach and apricot. I also asked Mr. Onyx to sniff this and he said, "It reminds me of spiced apple and something else. Maybe chamomile tea." I laughed because he's said spiced fruits for several of the scents I asked him to take a sniff at, but now that I'm looking at the notes, I think it reminded him of that because of the cinnamon. I'm usually very wary of cinnamon because I don't want to get that overwhelming typical Autumn candle scent, but it's so well blended here that it just enhances the overall fragrance. Anyway, point to Mr. Onyx. I wore this out yesterday on a walk. This was on my left arm and Flan de Coco was on my right. Flan de Coco definitely had better sillage, but this was also activated especially because I wore long sleeves even though it was not cold out and my body heat activated it. I could smell a very nice, refreshing, fruity scent wafting up. This reminds me of two things: Peach Tea πŸ‘πŸ΅ and Juicy Fruit Chewing Gum πŸ‹πŸŠπŸπŸŒ. I truly believe this has to be sprayed, though the sprays are out of stock now. I'm tempted to get one of the roll-on bottles, but I would really like this in virgin form. I don't know if that was an option though because perhaps the Lace versions automatically came with Lace? Anyway, this made me even more curious about Love Potion: Pink. Since I still have a sniffie of Love Potion: Red, I want to come back when I have samples of both to see how their combined essences result in this.
  22. You know Amanda, that was how I felt when I was looking at your Beach Sol. It did not have the usual notes I would go for and I'm more interested in foodie scents than beach scents nowadays. I could not get it out of my mind though, so I just decided to go for it. I'm so glad it worked out! πŸ–
  23. Yes they were up so fast! I thought they would take a few more days.
  24. I looked just now and it’s for the listings. Thank you so much for all of your hard work!
