I know I can do a search for this (Phero blends containing HeartThrob, Wanted Man, Dirty Old Man, SS4M, Perfect Match,etc) Super for Men has gotten recommended, but any blends with these others that you like? I'm rethinking how the H--- I will manage to get any of the unscented actually ON him, so I may need to ask him to "try" a scent sample (and leave out the Phero's info) The problem is going to be finding a scent that we BOTH will like as the "vehicle"... Original - yes, 1978 - Polo is his "sig" scent, and the description sounds like a smorgasborg ("The composition is green and fresh, made of grassy notes of artemisia, basil and thyme, with spicy notes of cumin, coriander and cloves. The heart is strong and masculine as conifer woods, decorated with notes of patchouli, oakmoss and vetiver. The base contains leather, tobacco and thyme, which create a wonderful, intensive trail") Perhaps more experienced LPMP can decifer that into what MIGHT be along the same line (so I can get him to consider switching for a night) but I personally don't see how the nose is capable of smelling that many things in a single blend! You SLAY me! Of course, this is just getting me MORE confused and I'm thinking of what I can SELL so I can buy more LP!

Any suggestions on a good scent/phero blend or unscented phero to use for myself when networking/interviewing? 13 years ago I was at the top of my career but decided to become a SAHM, volunteer & raise my two young sons... don't regret it, but now that they are more independent (15 & 18) I'm wanting to head back to the workforce... the challenge is getting BACK into the industry at my age (55) when so many companies opt to hire younger (less experience for less $$) AND getting my career (vs. "Mommy) groove back. I guess I'm looking for a scent that will help with my confidence and energy, while perhaps having an edge on the competition (other candidates vying for the position) with a phero or blend that might have positive effects on the person(s) I'm interviewing with (the industry has both male and females in power positions, so I don't want to give off something that another female could unconsciously pick up as "competition", if that makes sense.)

Thanks Dolly! I did place an order for a Compro Positions sample which has the Sexpionage - so many members recommended THAT one as a powerhouse.. I wish I'd taken the leap of faith and gotten the full size RB/Oil tho - if it's THAT good it won't last long. Does your guy use a cover on SS4M or Wanted Man? A couple of (female) members said that SUPER for Men was a tingler for them... my guy really loves his Polo Green (and I love it on him) but if SUPER FOR MEN does a number on me then maybe he'll play... thanks Luna65... I know you are right, I just wanted to (maybe) see what it's like to be on the receiving end of the experiment (no pun intended here). You seem really well-versed on so many of the "effects"... anything in particular (Women's or Men's scents) that might help ME lose some inhibition? I've been waiting for the perfect excuse to use that emoticon... Plus.. I haven't figured out how I WOULD get it actually ON him effectively... it's not like I can spray his clothes or something (as that sounds baaaaad).

Thanks QG - I read a lot of your posts and reviews in the LP Men's forums and you are definitely the "go to" for the guys stuff! I started leaning towards SS4M because of your review and I stepped back on <3 Throb based on your report too! I need to go back and try to find where you mention Wanted Man... the descrip on that one intrigues me but I'd love to get an opinion from the front line first. I think <3 Throb has some CoPs right? I prefer to keep those for moi. I have a very sensitive nose too - commercial scents just about make me sick (or at the very least, SO not "in the mood") my only exceptions were New West for Her (a 90s scent that is long out of production now) and for MR. LoveStruck, he usually wears RL Polo original (Green) which I find very stimulating - but only because it reminds me of him... probably a definite Pavlov"s Dog effect on me I'm sure. With that being said, I doubt I could ever get him to switch to a scented Phero unless he thought it would "guarantee" some action (and that's not part of my experiment - yet - I like being the lusty COVERT mad scientist right now)

Thought I'd ask the guys out there (but ladies feel free to put in your vote)... is there any particular unscented Phero that you've tried that you can say, without hesitation, revs your lady's (or, ahem, ladies) engine(s)? And was it a "covert" attempt (she didn't see it coming, in other words... no mention of what you were "wearing" and the power of suggestion tainting the experiment)?

Are the March new release sampler sets shipping out soon? I can't wait... I've already put two full sizes in my shopping cart ready to order once I confirm they affect me even half as much as their descriptions! I don't know how quickly the best ones sell out... I have a trivia question! Mara - what LP mixture was the fastest one EVER to sell out???

Love this info...I'm going to have to assemble a self-help reference binder that has all these experiences and suggestions that I can refer BACK to as I navigate this adventure on LPMP. Thank you for being so open and helpful Eggers. Means a lot and I love the laughs from the 'off the cuff' remarks you have in your posts! I ordered the Compromising Positions sample last night (kinda wish I'd gone ahead and ordered the full size roller/oil) to try out the Sexpionage... which you recommended to me in my other post! But hey, there's undoubtedly gonna be another order going in for my clandestine undercover (no pun intended) plans for my guy anyway so I'll just take another sip of vino or brewski and hit that "place order" button - all in the name of building a bigger and better arsenal of secret (scent) weapons... eventually I think I'll be forced (financially anyway) to limit my orders to once per quarter... But then that makes them even more appreciated!

OK I've been reading lots of posts so here's what I THINK might be worth a try... if I can get any of you gals or guys to give me any experience you've had with them it would certainly help! I haven't even started looking for (yet another) goodie for ME that might free my mind (so the rest will follow, hehe) but DO TELL if there is such a thing PULEEESE. I'm still barely scratching the surface here on scent options. Unscented Pheros that sound promising for my covert operation: WANTED MAN, SUPER SEXY, PERFECT MATCH (unisex) or TOPPER (unisex). I really don't want to put anything with Cops on him... I'd rather leave that for my scents. You are my hero...(Or I guess it's really heroine - but not the drug, LOL) Your advice and posts are priceless! OK.. so SS4M is ahead at the first turn.... anyone else? I'm all ears!

Has anyone ever covertly used any unscented Pheros for men on your partner or hubs? All this focus and research on trying to find something I can wear, that will make him hot for me... Could I get something to "innocently" (yes, I said that) season his aura that might RELEASE THE KRAKEN for me ??? He's a RL Original Polo (Green) Dude and rarely strays from that... which isn't all bad because I love smelling it just to think of him. Married 20 years, 2 kids, FINALLY heading into perimenopause at 55 (and not having to have birth control always in the back of my mind), my objective and obsession is to start stoking those fires a bit... and perhaps trying to be less inhibited myself as a 'mature' female. Oh, I THINK about it a LOT... it's just freeing the lusty temptress (who grew up with her share of Catholic guilt!) is more of a fantasy than a reality right now. And I know what will probably come out of this post is a recommendation for something that will lessen MY inhibition (that advice is welcome as well), but is there anything that might drive ME crazy if I manage to get some on HIM? The thought of using myself as part of my "research" is kind of thrilling, actually. But, I don't want to let my subject (my husband) in on all this "research"... I don't want anything skewing the data. If you want to chastise me for even thinking of covert opps on my man I will understand, but isn't that what the very definition of what a love potion is? Welcome OBW... I'm a newbie too. You're right - this is fun. I loved reading your report on the samples. The seasoned members were awesome on recommending scents for particular objectives, and as a matter of fact I just ordered a full-size CP for myself last night along with some other samples of recommended scents. It's my 3rd order in barely 2 weeks so it's fast becoming my weakness... but I'll go down with a smile and smellin' great! Based on your "research" I'd say CP was a wise choice for myself... trying to recharge my mojo with my hubs of 20 years I have 15 and 18 year old sons and I must say you are brave to let the girlfriend have the CuddleBunny!

Can someone tell me how to get the gray box in a post that shows the other persons post that you are responding to? I'd ask my tech savvy 15 year old son but he'd have too many questions as to what mom was doing on this site.

Great advice... honestly, when I got my first 2 (Love Potion: Red w/ Cops + Sex & Violins) I loved one, hated the other (but was willing to try!) Once I got past the initial stank OD from S & V, a couple of days later I tried it again (it was my most expensive purchase and I hate wasting $$!) - just a tiny smidge of oil on my torso between my bellybutton and cleavage... and it wasn't too bad! So for me, less is more in the case of S & V, and it's been fun trying to figure out if that pungent note was animaly musk, gunpowder or woods - thanks to incredible input from members. The Crayons set should arrive within a week or so, then followed by last night's order of Cougar & 3 Phero trial fragrances. So... I'll be busy and so will my partner... hopefully.

It makes me feel honored to recognize the names of you elite forum members who took time to help little ol' me - a confused newcomer - navigate through scentatopia and make informed buying decisions! All within 48 hours!!! Ya'll are Rock Stars. I'll aspire to be like you someday!

Yes, that S&V breakthrough scent may indeed be wood (Rose Blackthorn pointed that out and thought it could be that or the Gunpowder) Musks have never irritated me in the past, so thinking through it... it may be the wood (maybe that's the violins innuendo?) I suck at identifying scents! I never can smell all the 'bouquets' that wine connoisseurs elude to in their descrips... (i.e. "notes of chocolate and nutmeg with hints of ripe blackberry...") but I guess that's why we have experts in that arena (as well as Mara & John in this one) so we "consumers" can just sit back and enjoy! I mistakenly did my forum "hello" on this, rather than starting my own thread, only because I saw the RedandFlaming's heading ("Hi, I am brand new to this") and I immediately related That being said, I'm GLAD I did because that's how I stumbled upon your post with all the helpful links. I know with a lot of clicking and searching one can eventually get there, but I think it would help new customers/members if there were an actual link from the main menu that takes novices directly to a section that includes everything you pointed out and maybe a FAQ addition. That would help cut down on all the redundant posts from newbies (like me) who just feel lost and not sure where to get help so we start up a new post (or hitchhike on someone elses as I did!) Last night I ordered Cougar Potion and four other samples that were recommended. S&V is growing on me, but I have to apply very little, just above my belly button in order to not feel overcome by that pungent-whatever-it-is note. I'm glad to hear that some of the members are fine with wearing pheros a lot. After reading the thread on Phero/CoP ODing I thought I was "doing it wrong",but I guess it really depends on the individual. I bought LP: Red and added CoPs to it, but I just smell the 'yummy' factor, nothing more. My husband likes the smell too (I didn't tell hiim about the CoPs - part of my experiment to see if I get any response other than "that's a nice scent"...) BUT neither S&V or LP: Red seemed to stoke his fires a little - which is what I was after. Guess I need to keep searching for that one trigger for him.... a daunting task but at least I smell good the whole time But I will say I was shocked when a total stranger approached me at a school PTA meeting in the school's anything-but-sexy gym... and started talking to me about nothing. His wife (and my husband) were kind of weirded out by the whole thing (and of course I couldn't admit to my "experiment", LOL) He either really got in trouble when he got home - or his wife definitely got some post-PTA action. Yes... I ordered the Crayons set on Sunday & tonight I'm getting samplers for La Sylphide/La Femme Mystere, Compromising Positions/Sexpionage & the OCCO: pink (which I think you recommended Eggers as an add on to Cougar if needed!) I'm getting the Cougar Potion too but in a full size oil/roller... It sounded so yummy I'm sure I will like it! Members Rose Blackthorn, missdarlyncherie, Nutrix, Molls and you of course Eggers were so great & quick to help. What an incredible group to find and a bonus to stumbling upon LPMP...but I usually say there ARE no accidents! I'll have lots of scents to keep me busy now (& I need to replenish the ol Paypal, LOL.) so now I can spend time reading more of the forums! Thanks again

This will be my 3rd order in 2weeks,LOL. I feel like I need to be here every night reading...like I'm cramming for a "test".LOL I guess you really shouldn't throw this stuff around lightly... Last night at a PTA meeting I had this guy totally seek me out to talk to me - his wife was noticeably uneasy as was my husband. I don't even think the guy realized how weird it seemed. Kind of funny but sure made me a believer. You gotta be responsible & know what's in your arsenal & when to wear it/NOT wear it!

Can anyone help me order the correct version? I wanted to order the Cougar fragrance as it sounds yummy; I wanted the Stone Cougar as it was recommended, referring to the Phero blend ingredient by Stone. My cart description says "unscented" though... So which is which?

Rose B I bet you are right! I've been fine with musky scents in the past but perhaps I'm blaming the wrong scent note! Like Molls said S&V is strong scent so maybe that's a lesson learned in my early days at LPMP. Trial & error probably happens to all newbies, but I would not change a thing having been lucky enough to find this site & all the perks (scents, info & kindred spirits in the forum). "Thank you Lovestruck! Indeed those babies did grow. That was back in maybe 94 or 95 and sadly, they are no longer with us. They were sweeties though for sure. Both of them were deaf being pure white short haired, that often happens, but they were awesome. Many years and many kitties later, still loving and remembering every single one of them. My heart is covered with paw prints. " How bittersweet Rose B! Made me cry. Me too... I wish those feline familiars could hang around longer, but they seem determined to blow through those 9 lives in 10-15 years or less I had 2 Russian Blues that were litter mates and gave me 17 years which I will be forever grateful for. Then 3 more found me, but just 1 remains. Yes, they all leave their mark on our hearts. Now I have 2 big, white longhair (golden) retrievers too. But I love that profile pic of yours... It is timeless. What were their names? I know they had a gift to share with you while they were here!

OK. I've added a sample of OCCO: Pink to my cart! I started to get a bit of a headache yesterday, and I thought perhaps it was the Sex/Violins (and that pungent scent of Animal musks I guess) that was too much for me, but maybe I just need to give everything a rest!

I suppose I should do more reading before asking dumb questions, but the posts to choose from are about as varied as the perfumes~ I've just been reading the posts about Phero OD/Phero bombing... I have LP Red with Cops, and Sex & Violins/Dominance, both of which I've been alternating, and I was ready to order Stone Cougar (full size because it sounds awesome) and samples of La Sylphide (w/La Femme Mystere) and Compromising Postions (w/ Sexpionage). So maybe I need to cool it on the pheros everyday?? I'm getting everything in the oil/roller, BTW. I guess I'm like a kid in a candy store but maybe I'm going to go in to diabetic shock if I'm not careful. Any suggestions appreciated as always!
