Haha! About 2 hours after I applied, I started smelling this strong Amber patch hippie smell and thought, "who turned on the incense" and then realized it was me! So now I know I am a patch amper too.

Halo, I don't mean to reduce this to stereotypes as no one is an intentional vampire. But when my daughter, husband, mother in law, sisters in law etc are in the manic stage or depressive stage, I feel emotionally drained and out of gas. I have a whole lineage of this brutal disease in my family. I have been to parents Ed, wives Ed, dual diagnosis treatment for years. I have spent over $60k trying to find out if my daughter is really bipolar 1 or 2 and how her various addictions have played into her diagnoses. I can see how it would seem that we were stereotyping and for the way that message landed on you. But for the caregiver, even the best intentioned person with this disease can exhaust you. And back to my biggest point, we can't fix or make it better as caregivers, other than leading the person to capable medical attention which is so hard when adequate and timely mental health care is ridiculously inadequate (at least in California). I am so sorry for those that have this disease as well as those who love them and try to find solutions.

I am in the Cheesey camp also...they use you up....they are emotional vampires.....and at the end you really see how powerless you are when they get worse because mental illness is progressive. Untreated, it always gets worse. Stay strong Cycle

Now my skin is absorbing it so quickly I can't get a proper dry down. That said, it has a soapy quality (probably the lotus) and is well blended 2 hours later. This FB is going to my daughter who can wear floral but I am glad I got to try it

I also get vanilla ice cream vs coconut. I adore this PE. It has the cinnAmon softened by the carnation and the anise just melts into the combined spicy tang of the cinnamon carnation blend. Oddly, those strong notes faded pretty quickly on me so I am hoping that letting it rest will increase the longevity and throw.

The lotus is massively overpowering on me, completely obliterating other notes. I was hoping the coconut would be at the fore but not with my chemistry. I am going to let this sit and try again.

I got Seaside and the LP variant FB and went trial on 3 others in addition to a phero's creamed honey and some dirty old man pheromones for my dirty old man. Oh and Tyveys cococinncarnation. Still a big order but was too nervous for all FBs.

John and Mara saved the day with one from the store. This and honeyed LP are my two go-tos these days. This is fabulosatabulous.

The greatest thing is the search function on this site. .. I wonder if Seaside was the one QG was fantasizing about a couple of years ago? Salt and marine and ozone. I have annual budgets due immediately, and instead I'm searching for perfume names.
