The first Friday event is right around the corner (next week, I think) which means our FALL smells are within arms reach!!!! I wonder what Mara's theme is for September. . ..I wonder if the scents will be more late summer than Fall? I wonder how many honey smells there will be? Will LP Rouge make a comeback? Maybe Passion and Desire? I know I am seriously gnawing my fingers waiting to hear about the PE I requested during the sale. Will the notes work together? Even more than the sale, I find waiting for NRs to be utterly delicious.

OCCO SLF is my jam! I layer it under so many other smells as I go from day to night. It does have a baby powder finish in later dry down but I think it smells more like honey powder than baby powder. I used to have this honey powder dusting powder and it was sometimes sticky as shit but I used it strategically (which, at the 17 years old I was at the time, was probably on my cheeks). I later saw Kama Sutra had one in their aphrodisiac line and I remember thinking...ohhhh, how naughty!

I think Birkeys win for biggest sale haul, but I get one more freebie after I fill out the order for a PE. Rebrew of Blackcat's mojo? Nice! I was thinking if I could ask for a rebrew of Jennifer's Summer shine.

Bella I have been wearing Seaside Sizzle all week during my Mammoth to Bridgeport to Sonora (all Mountains) to keep my beach with me....it's really fantastic. Make that a need.

Thanks to everyone at LP for the sale, for working with me on my orders, for this forum, for making me smell great with a smidge of confidence boost or magic firepower. Before LP....well, thank god I never have to remember life before LPMP.

I am wearing this today -- I received as a free bottle last year in the sale but I never really spent any quality time with it. I also had the initial blast of fruit (specifically pineapple) and now (2 hours later), the licorice is more prominent--very much pernod. But underneath there is a creaminess I hadn't anticipated. The whole deal is so well blended that it feels like layers of scent--almost like a layered drink you would order. I had been looking for something to wear as a roll on when I spray Summershine with Topper on my hair and neck. This is a perfect pairing for me. .. a deeper scent on my elbows and forearms and a cloud of pineapple around my face. Love it!

I got this in the sale, along with Ceremony. I can't do the wet stage combo of green musk and birch. Instant headache. I love TH but in this, the sharp herbal made me instantly cranky and the pheromones made me want to sleep so I am a hot mess. I hate that I can't wear these uber cool exotic scents and am stuck in foodie scents until my chemistry changes. Edited: After a little dry down period, this is back to the classic LP base. Loving that part. TH did seem to make me tired and weepy last night which is ultra odd for someone like me. I am changing my whole tune on this. Is it possible a phero turns a tyrant into a nice girl? If so, my staff is going to like this one the best.

This is my go to pheromone. I work in a male dominated environment so I feel more confident with this and oddly enough don't feel like I need to grab conversations or make myself heard on this. Instead I notice people seem to look to me for input vs having to claw myself in to make a point. I wore it today to a deposition for a workplace lawsuit and noted the attorneys bickered less and I felt confident telling the truth which was not very pro company. This stuff saves my hide regularly and even gives me energy. I am in Mara's debt for creating this.

I tried this again today and it aged really well!! The floral note is blended more fully into honey and the cocoa butter is much more in background on my skin. This is in the sale---gonna nab another bottle!!

Mara this is sooo good you should rebrew. I am decidedly not a fruit lover and my summer solstice sat unused. But this is like a less sweet pineapple. It's clean and crisp. When I want to deepen it for night, I will add the summer solstice on my arms and the combination works well and feels sultry. By day, I just use this spray and I feel bright and sparkly. I am a FAN!

I love love this one. It is vanilla and coconut but with a powder finish on me. I think it is office friendly and feels like a scent I would wear in early fall. It's got a long wear which is awesome because I burn scents quickly. Love it!!

I reserved 13 bottles so I have to spend over $500 I think. On the bright side, I don't think it will be hard to find that much to buy : )
