One of the most interesting things I’ve learned, is how differently fragrances wear on people. ET by itself is sweeter than I wanted. I do like sweet fragrance, it’s one of those ‘it’s me, not the perfume’ things.

On a whim I tried layering it over LPO, and the two compliment each other crazy well. And again, as to how fragrance varies according to who is wearing it, LPO is very apricot forward on me. Vanilla stays way in the background, and the patchouli (which is often difficult for me to wear) outlasts everything. When I put ET over LPO, it tempers the apricot, and the chocolate and rose are more apparent. Problem Child patchouli never gets a chance to take over at the tail end either. Also, the orange is not as prominent, but is present for the duration. All in all, wearing the two together gives ET more depth, and makes LPO sweeter.

I love these two over top OCCO white and Noco white. Talk about an exquisite combo!

I think this thread is kinda-sorta pin worthy. But only if "Is sexual mones really THAT 'dangerous" to wear in public?" could be changed to "Are sexual pheromones dangerous to wear in public?"

I stumbled across this. I know it hasn't been updated for almost 6 years, but felt it was worth bumping up as its not really a repeat of other more recent posts on the subject (which I've read, at least) .

I tried this one today, because Leather is always a hit with Mr Perfect. I wasnt too sure of the scent however. Its very smooth - the honey and sandalwood blend beautifully. It just seemed so cozy, and I think I just wasnt in a cozy mood, lol. But Mr Perfect came up and kissed the back of my neck, and said Mmm, you smell good so this is definitely a keeper!

ETA - why dont my apostrophes and quotes show up when I use the mobile version on my phone?

Bella, I figured out that’s if I don’t preview my post, or edit it, the punctuation stays. Once I make changes, or even (I think) if I don’t make changes, but do preview before posting, no matter if I go back and fix all the missing apostrophes etc, they won’t show up. Very weird. (Posting via my phone right now)

The drydown and bloom on this is phenom. And y'all aren't kidding about allowing these blends travel settling - having it sit for 2 weeks has been a total gamechanger. Amazing, too, how it blooms on skin. It's a simple light vanilla when I first smear it on, so light I fear it will simply disappear. But in 2 hours time, it blossoms into the most gorgeous cloud of gooey unctuous sexy fun time for the woman who grew up a total tomboy, but in adulthood found the joys of dress up and and a red lip. I put BBM in my cleavage and this in the usual pulse point spots and DAMN. Cloud of sexiness with a smirk on your face. Sad to say I don't get many direct selfies from pheros in general (or at least I don't think I do...) but I've noticed people are generally friendlier and more overtly accommodating, making eye contact, smiling, almost being deferential. Very handy for work. That in turn makes me feel like the shit and turn myself up a notch, so if that's a selfie I'll take it! Another FB going on the list.... DAMN!!! Bye bye $$$...

I don’t get many selfies from pheromones either. Not dramatically so. I do react to DHEAS, and Levitation also gives me a lift. LFM is my middle ground phero that ‘can’ but definitely doesn’t always have an effect on me. BI is a hit for me and the BF. I’ve taken a break as far as trying to figure out what combo is a selfie phero for me. Maybe if I had dramatic responses, I’d be more interested in researching it more.

(Back to the Leather phero). I’m not sure how congruent it is with my personality. It also may keep me awake if I apply too late in the day (?) I emailed Mara inquiring about a virgin version of this year’s Bad Girl. I’d happily spring for a few bottles as a private edition. I haven’t heard back from her yet.

I love layering Bad Girl with both OCCO White and Noco White. Have not tried with BMM, but will, because that is a huge favorite of mine too!

Okay then, it is update time!

My first try with this was not exactly a disappointment, but I was expecting cherry and got mostly chocolate... However, I am a chocolate lover who rarely finds a chocolate fragrance that works with my skin chemistry.

Today I tried layering this over top LPO and wow! I mean totally wow!

I don't have a long enough history with LPMP to know what to compare this with, other than the solid LPO, which has cocoa butter and made for a kind of chocolate tinged version of LPO.

Several hours later I'm still enjoying it immensely. it seems the LPO is coming out on top of the Wild Cherry as time passes, so, the longevity of the Wild Cherry may not be a match for the lasting power of LPO. The chocolate never turned plasticy and I'm already contemplating a back-up bottle.

ETA also working out well layered with NoCo white. It's more foodie, over time I may even like it better than over LPO...Nice thing about this combo is option to use it over OCCO or NoCo. and the Wild Cherry has a few bottles that are virgin to get for all the right combos

Question for those of you who use DHEAS - Does anybody think at first whiff, it smells kind of like dark chocolate? I bought the 5000 mcg version, and when I decanted some into a travel spray bottle, I smelled chocolate so strongly that I thought I'd maybe used the container previously for a pure chocolate scent, although I really don't think I had... when we came back home, and I spritz from the LPMP bottle it came in, I still get chocolate! Am I crazy? (in regards to this subject lol)

UPDATE!

Man, I wanted to love this so hard, and it just wasnt working out for me and my skin chemistry. Every time I tried it, it grew cloyingly sweet as I wore it, and it has longevity! And it doesnt wear close to the skin particularly either.

As it turns out, all it ever needed was to be layered with Beths Blushing Milkmaid. Wowzers. (I think I tried previously with OCCO White, but it did not compliment it.

I smell like a buttery pastry, like the fruit and chocolate filled croissants I used to get in this little coffee shop in Milan. And the Eves Temptation part of equation behaves itself.

Ive had it on for a couple of hours now, and will report back if it goes wonky for me after its been on me overnight.

Im so happy about this. I really enjoy adding cops much more than pheromones anyway, so its an all around win for me.

I was hoping for a strong cherry scent, but the cherry takes a backseat to the chocolate (and, as Halo said, the vetiver) I sprung for a full (virgin) bottle before I'd sniffed it, and I think I'll probably find another fragrance to layer it with, but, on its own, its not exactly what I'd choose. No hate or scrubbing, just no love either.

I missed the part about needing to shake it! It smelled like a possibility in the vial, but on my skin, I had to wash it off. I'll give it another go after it has rested for a few days. and next time I'll shake it first!

I just think this label should be available as a poster! Cracks me up whenever I see it. I can totally see my BF in it! - attitude wise., that is.

So... apparently the magical key to me wearing honey scents is to have them in a fragrance that also has a leather note. Who knew? Honey tends to take over in a big way and just get louder and sweeter and doesn't want blend nicely with anything; - until I discovered scents that also have leather!

Closer is so beautiful! (and the label too) Although it starts out very leather prominent. it dries down to a amber-y ,musky vanilla. Pear never shows up, which is preferable for me anyway. I can't get over how much I love this, and how close I came to not ever trying it! Finally I've got an Ivory Cats to call my own.

I agree the leather is a lot less pronounced in this than the previous version. I sometimes love leather scents, oftentimes don't though.

I like the '18 a lot more than last years, which I only used as samples. This year's BG has led me to explore both Closer and Phero Girl PG17. (I've got one on each wrist right now) I'm getting FB of both, decision already made! And both are more leather forward than Bad Girl 2018

This does cover the BI well. And BI so far, is my favorite sexual pheromone. But, after the initial hour or so, it has a distinct bubblegum note. I don't dislike this one, but it isn't something I'd spring for a full bottle. - Which, of course leaves room in the budget for me to spend on Bad Girl!

First time I tried it, BF didn't like this when it was still wet (I should have known better than to offer him a sniff with the cops in it) I mean he seriously Did Not Like it! "Eww it smells musty, there's an off note" yada yada yada. He is currently away so I test drove it again. (Yes, I know, nothing like trying something with Sexpionage in it when there's no guy around - oh well)

I got a strong citrus and booze vibe early on, and then... I fell asleep.

This morning it smells wonderful. It did not turn super sweet on me, which many fragrances tend to do. It smells good, but I can't give what it smells like a name. Yummy sexy will have to do.

Ive got it! After 8ish hours, it smells clean. Not really soapy as much as the lingering fragrance left behind from a high end French soap. Im wondering if it is something else peeking out that Id worn previously? Dunno, will just have to try again

(And, why do apostrophes fail to show up when I edit via my iPhone? I even went back to fix, and they still do not show up for me?)

Clearly I need to know the best option to add cops to this! I'm not so much into phero's but, as it turns out, cops are a good friend to me!

Yesterday I tried on one wrist just letting EOW dry and added BG over. Other wrist had OCCO white, then BG on top. I initially liked the way the EOW side smelled best. But, 8+ hours later, kind of prefer the OCCO side. The EOW side ended up a little sweeter. Either is fine.

Thoughts anyone? (I tried phero girl previous to this, and it was a no go for me. Honey aficionados would probably like it though.)

This was a total dark horse for me! I got the sampler, and that is probably the only reason I tried it. Perhaps as time passed and this received enough rave reviews (which I'm sure it will) I might eventually ventured into ordering a trial vial, but, the thing is, so far there is only one other review, and it interprets completely different on my skin than the description given by Xev.

I absolutely cannot wear sugared honeycomb. But, in Bad Girl , any honey only serves to sweeten the impression. Honey is a little more prominent at the very first, but, over all, It is very well blended and smooth. I get a lot of leather, but it is not a particularly masculine leather, It's more of an aura than any one note. It's pretty much amazing!

I did try a sniffy - probably more than one - of the previous iteration, and that Bad Girl just didn't leave an impression on me. I didn't dislike it, but never was tempted to go beyond using what was sent as free samples. In contrast, I just ordered a full bottle ,of the 2018 version, and added a trial vial of Closer and Phero Girl PG17 too, because these have notes in common.

I was “this close” to adding this to my last order! (I had it in my cart but took it out) From what you guys describe it is in my future for sure!

The banana aspect isn't that strong, I don't think. It's primarily warm buttery goodness. It's one of my favorite bedtime scents, still so delicious!
