  1. I have this in the Skyclad Buttersilk. It is every bit as decadent as the lemon buttercream. The fragrance is quite cocoa-buttery. On me it smells a lot like Velvet Kisses. Very yummy (but the Lemon Buttercream is still my favorite) I will definitely use this jar up, and would consider getting it again in the future, especially if no more of the Lemon Buttercream is created (it is currently sold out) I love love love how moisturizing these skyclad whipped body butters are!

Edited to add that after the initial cocoa blast, the honey does show up, and is the perfect honey for my skin chemistry. This is so nice!

  2. I got this in the LP original scent. I really really like it! In perfume oil form, the LP original is not one that speaks to me, so I was going out on a limb ordering it.

You know how a box of those chocolate covered cherry cordials smell? This is what I get. No, I don't specifically get any cherry, but the chocolate is what we smell with chocolate covered cherries while they're still in the box. This is that on me.

No, its not very strong, I think it would be a terrific way to always have something with me if I was traveling and had a need for copulins type emergency haha.

I don't smell any cops, and this is one incredibly yummy scent. I'd love to see a perfume version of it.

Yay! Another win for me in this last order.

ETA: After a few hours, this has more of a classic LP scent to it. I wish the cocoa would hang around for the duration, but either way it is very nice, and I'm glad I got it.

  3. OMG! This one is my absolute favorites of the new releases - . You need to get this

    - wait! no DO NOT BUY! Forget everything I just wrote, unless Mara makes this permanent. then. and only then, load up your shopping cart, but for now, just leave them aaaaall for me. Only me.

This is a perfectly balanced blend on my skin

I interpret this as a spicy, very sweet berry pumpkin combo - even cherry (the kind of cherry that smells like almond) this may be the mulberry- laid down on a base of French creme, and even a bit of tonka bean and dark musk helping to anchor it. (None of the latter notes are listed, but it turns out like that on me.) The sweet spiciness to me is all white sugar (or pink when you take the berries into account) there is no brown sugar or smoky undercurrent, and the cream is not buttery cream.

    What a surprise love!

    ETA:

Boo Berry is more wintry spicy on me than autumnal, Its funny how fragrances will wear so differently according to the person.

  4. I can't offer much advice from personal experience using pheromones around my ex, but, if what you would enjoy is having a contrast between yourself, and the quiet cow (lol I enjoyed that!) what about something like LFM ? Or another phero that highlights the areas where you outshine her. I've never tried Popularity Potion, but that one would be one I would consider if I were in your situation. When I first divorced, saying it was acrimonious is putting it mildly, but time really can mellow things for some people, and it did for us. Now that I've discovered the world of pheros, if I know he is going to be around, I pretty much avoid anything that is considered a sexual pheromone that would encourage him to start looking back with rose colored glasses.

  5. OMGGGGGG!!! This is awesome and amazing! It's lemon but not sharp. And just slightly bakery, not too warm. Fabulous stuff!

I got my Buttercream Lemon shampoo bar and once again I just have to gush about how AMAZING these shampoo bars are. They make my hair look thicker immediately and I continue to be astounded by that. And as I stated before this fragrance is totally delicious!

I totally agree! I went through a jar of the skyclad buttersilk whipped, in record time. I knew I was slathering on more than I needed (as far as the moisturizing aspect) but I just didn't care! It is sooooo good!I just ordered more & wanted to order more than I did! It is scrumptious, plus very moisturizing (which I need big time!)

  6. Hey Eve!

    Thanks for the welcome.

Im starting my collection from scratch and honestly couldnt figure out which phero to start with also, I became impulsive when reading the reviews and started adding it all to my cart.

What was it that you ordered?

(Not ordering from scratch. That ship has sailed!)

typing with cat in my lap, tablet balanced on the boobs - So typos will abound!

    2 lemon butterscream

    1 lp red

    2 noco spicy br sugar

    levitation spray

skycladwhipped body butter in the lemon buttercream and the cocoa butter honey

    trial of boo berry

original lp copulin enhanced body butter

flying potion, but that is a gift for someone else

  7. Okay! I don't know if anyone even says AMAZEBALLS anymore. In fact, I don't know if I've ever said this, its not really my vernacular.

    But...

The combo of NOCO Spicy Brown Sugar and Beth's Blushing Milkmaid is most definitely amazeballs. And then some!

(sighs, and goes back to adding to the invoice request draft, as I obviously need a backup!)

  8. ... So, I've finished up all of the Skyclad Buttersilk in the buttercream lemon fragrance. I officially scraped the last bit out of jar this morning :001_07: I'm going to HAVE to order the Butterscream Lemon. It's not even optional! .... making my list and checking it twice. Butterscream is at the top of the list (and some more whipped body butter too!)

  9. I agree this is not a gourmand scent. On me, there is a slight initial sweetness, but, this wears as an herbal fragrance that has some spice to it, but not pumpkin pie type spice. I don't notice any buttercream or cocoa. The store site concludes description with "layered with the spicy Autumnal ambiance of a colorful carpet of fallen leaves" This is exactly what I get! Not leaves that have gotten rained on and started to get that damp moldy smell though, just crisp and clean. I am assuming part of that is the oak moss (?) It is beautiful. And, I can see why some might consider it similar to LP Red.

  10. Halo, thanks for reviewing this! I love the whipped body butter in the lemon buttercream (on me hardly any lemon shows up, which is okay) I wanted to try it in the perfume oil, but also wanted to try some of the other new releases too. Hopefully it won't be gone before I can order it. (I've already used 2/3 of my jar of the whipped! it is that good!)

  11. I am about to flick the switch and make everything live, but I wanted to mention a coupla things first. We are unfortunately still using the Etsy hosted temp site, and it's a pain in the butt. They will not allow us to list ingredients or talk about pheros on the Etsy site proper, so if you want to see the magickal meanings of ingredients, read them via the LP site, here:

NEW RELEASES ON LP TEMP SITE: https://luvpotionperfume.com/shop/21642631/new-releases

BUT! If you want to pay via PayPal, Etsy does not allow that on their hosted sites, (Etsy payments only) so you have to order via the Etsy site proper to pay via PayPal, or else just send us an email and we can invoice you.

    ETSY STORE: https://www.etsy.com/shop/LovePotionPerfumes?ref=seller-platform-mcnav&section_id=21642631

The sampler and full bottle sets can be found under the SETS AND SPECIALS headings on both sites.

And last but not least, Luna has written us a couple of fabulous tales that we do not have room for on that temp platform, so we will be posting them in full here on the review threads.

Ok, we're up, have fun everyone! Thank you!

yay! I knew I should keep checking the forum! It was like, do I want to get in the shower and get ready for bed ... or... do I want to check one more time to see if descriptions are up. Trigger has been pulled. :) :)

  12. I got brave enough to order this. I'd read reviews stating how horrible it smelled (not here on this forum so much as on Amazon) one reviewer said they could smell it through the unopened package in the mailbox, and there are other extreme and dramatic descriptions of its stinkiness, so, I was relieved to discover it isn't nearly all that bad!

I love the OCCOs I have accumulated in my arsenal. and also adore Blushing Milkmaid, but I wanted to know what unadulterated EOW smelled like. Yes, in the beginning I get some "essence of ass" which morphs into an overly ripe fruitiness, but nothing to the degree I feared. It was educational because now I do know what "cops bleed through" smells like, which I did NOT know, because it has never happened to me with the OCCOs, Blushing Milkmaid, or any LPMP fragrance I own that has cops in it. .

That said, I still would prefer using this mixed in with either my own perfume oils, having Mara boost a LPMP fragrance, or just get the OCCOs (and BMM) rather than using it neat, because that way I don't have to worry about covering completely with another scent once it has had a chance to dry.

I'm happy I took the plunge, and have already made up a couple of rollerball bottles adding a few drops to some of my non LPMP fragrances.

  13. Thank you Mara (I'm so surprised got it!) I kind of remembered the Dior Poison having more of an oriental vibe, but it has been so long since I sniffed it. That is very interesting about tuberose + plum making "grape".

For anyone considering getting this it really is an easygoing scent. I love the powdery musk in the dry down.

  14. I got a trial vial. I've only worn it a couple of times, and mostly get a sweet grape accord in the beginning. The myrrh is not prominent, and stays in the background (at least on my skin.)

The crooks of my elbows and pulse points will retain a lingering "fancy hotel soap" kind of faint fragrance after several hours, and the grape completely vanishes. It is not something I would normally wear, but I have got been tempted to scrub it off either. It is pleasant, for lack of a better word.

I'm afraid I won't be the one to guess the meaning behind it's name. I'd thought it might be reminiscent of Dior Poison,(due to Dior's purple bottle and the name, of course) but, I'm not that familiar with how this department store fragrance actually smells. I'm sure I've sniffed it at one point over the years, but for the life of me, cannot remember what it smells like!
