  1. Omg. I didn’t realize Woodland Creatures had Mega Watt in it, just wanted to test it and it smelled good so put it on right before cuddling with daughter to get her to sleep. Instead of sleeping, she jumped out of bed to make a bracelet, and then wanted a burger! And now my son is jumping off the walls, not at all sleepy. Curses! But at least I smell amazing. Better go cover it up with some Balm Bomb or B2.2.
  2. @Potion Master can you check my PayPal invoice? My forum posting credits on the invoice start at 4600 and not 3700. Thank you! ❤️
  3. You’re going to drool! It’s aged so beautifully over this past year!
  4. I do see that I’ve posted about Pearfection 4 times upthread, but I really haven’t touched it for a year. Yesterday I put some on and it smelled so good, I slathered. And then I slathered some more. When my son got home he said “mom the whole house smells so good, it smells like your perfume, how do you do that?” I see that there’s ONE bottle of this left in the sale, someone should jump on it!
  5. Okay, the dust has settled and my invoice request has been sent! All full bottles, as follows- Ghost Dust w/ OW SPRAY Gogo oil Heartwood oil (for BF) Lantern w/ BI oil LILU w/ sexpionage oil Living doll w/ CB oil (x2) LP GOLD w/ Charisma oil (x2) Rubylicious SPRAY Sweet Leaf oil (for the BF) The free gift bottles I reserved- Cimaruta: The Key w/ SWS Cimaruta: Mercury Potion (x2, for daughter) Cimaruta: Whisker Wishes Feather in the Wind w/ b2.2 Platelet Punch Sigil: Blessing Oil Sigil: Mother Goddess I'm so excited! I am considering, perhaps, busting into the vault and offering some of my sealed sold out back-up favorites because I'll never wear everything I've stashed away!
  6. Isn’t that the way with so many of these? I put on Pearfection yesterday for the first time in a year and it was to die for, it was not that good previously! BF just put this on 10 seconds ago, and walked out of the room, causing me to burst out with “whoa, what was that?” Already different than when it first arrived. FB for us as well. And @Eve, I hate that guy.
  7. Thank you! Very much appreciated. We only had a sniffle of TP and it’s long gone, but I remember it being a cherry tobacco.

    Creme Cake

@Eve as it's on my right wrist, I will agree with you that I also don't get a cake accord but I do get the oatmeal cookie! If I were to compare it to Fairy Cake Oatmeal, the oatmeal isn't as dominant, wears better on my skin, and Creme Cake isn't quite as sweet as FC Oatmeal. The spice perks up over time, as Eve already mentioned. It's kind of making me hungry.
  9. I was expecting something sugary, just from the name and the guesses in the new release thread. This is not a candy/sugar scent! I put some on in the car while rushing around and driving to teach a class. First Impression- It instantly made me feel “fresher,” like how Elemental:Air does with the ozone accord. I was in a hurry so didn’t get to think about it much after that, but it helped to calm me down. And I don’t think it was the Opem Windows, it was that I suddenly smelled put together. Second Impression- It’s so lovely and comforting, it also smells expensive! Five hours after sampling, it’s settled into a soft musk, sandalwood and myrrh on me. There are many musks that are too intense for me, but this one is perfectly balanced here. I do lean heavily towards gourmands, BUT I like to have a few “fancy” perfumes. This reminds me of two pretty bottles (with pretty ladies on them) from the Winter 2018 releases, Gossamer Threads with Cuddle Bunny and Luxurious w/ Blatant Invitation. For reference, the musk is softer than Gossamer Threads, but if you love those than you’d love this. I’m not doing a side-by-side, just my opinion from memory. I believe the sweetness level is similar to Luxurious, with the Banyan / Fig. And even though I love both of those perfumes, and the gorgeous labels, I think that Ghost Dust is more wearable for me. I know I can’t have them all, but I will be considering a FB on this one. And with Open Windows it’s infinitely more wearable in public than the Luxurious with the BI.
  10. I feel a little silly to be first person posting in this thread, but it is the first one I’m wearing solo (without other scents on my body.) It is an odd choice for my first grab of the new releases, as I was not a fan of Bonflower, just because I’m not a huge wearer of floral perfumes. I do like the concept of a smoky floral, though, and I loved the carnation in Velours Frais, so I’m giving it a spin. After drydown, I find it both cheerful and mysterious, the bright flowers and the “where’s that coming from” fall smoke. It’s only been a half hour, so we’ll see how it changes on me, but it’s very pretty!
  11. Yay! @oceanjewel I have not found that Cops n Robbers yet… My trials came today but someone new left them in my driveway behind a cat tree! (Cats like to hang out protecting the front of my house, like gargoyles, so I put cat tree in shade in front of garage.) The thing is, my mailman brings everything up the steps to my actual house, and I’m VERY lucky my man spotted them. I didn’t get to sniff anything until after 10pm, it was a loooong day. My long dumb day even included a mammogram, which is the exact opposite of fun. But I did manage to at least smell each trial, in the dark, without checking the labels. The one I did have to sit up and check the label was Hemwicke, and I put it on the back of my hand. Perhaps I liked it too much because I was kind of snuggling up to it and I now have Hemwicke on my right eyelid! NOT recommended for the eyelid! Which four are you wearing? I checked when I first made sale reservation requests to make sure I’m not at 5 days because I need to spend a few minutes with these. But I need to sleep or god knows where they’ll end up on me!
  12. Ha! You’re so sweet! I’m totally okay with all the other goodies I have and now I’ll have more on the way. But thank you so much!
  13. Don’t apply pheros to your clothes, just your skin. I only apply pheromones to my skin, and I let them dry completely before getting dressed. If there is any transfer at all, it would be on my clothes underneath my coat, not onto my actual coat. And I shower everyday so I don’t need to worry about the effect of yesterday’s pheromones lingering.
  14. I wasn’t around for this one either, @oceanjewel, but I remember seeing it wished for often throughout the trade boards. Super excited to receive these new additions!
  15. Mara is a genius, and I think I guessed gunpowder and leather because it’s in Wayward Son. I think it’s in a few others, too, I never would’ve thought of that on my own! Just did a search, also gunpowder in Mangelwurzel, Black Frye and Elementary Chapter 5.
  16. I have no idea which one(s) I’m going to fall in love with, so it will be a set of trials for me! Intrigued by the Hemwicke and Mourning Glory, though. In Placerville, CA, there was a coffee shop built into an old stone building leftover from the gold rush. It was cold and a bit leaky, and there was a rickety stairwell to get to the bathroom. There was a room in the back where all the local skateboarding and black clad angsty kids hung out. I loved it. Sadly, I think the building got some kind of overhaul and it might be a clothing store now. The story for Mourning Glory made me think of this place. My scent guesses for Holliday were way off, except for the sage. This is good, though, I’m not looking for a gunpowder and leather perfume! @luna65might Sweet Leaf conjure up Teacher’s Pest vibes?
  17. I’m generally awful at this game, so lucky to get one!
  18. Thank you @luna65 and @Potion Master and go to sleep @Kayla!
  19. True. And it's not like you could blindfold me and I'd know the difference unless I were licking them. And now I'm just hungry.
  20. The spelling of Holliday makes me think of Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp's card-playing, gun fighting, dentist companion? He moved himself and his lady friend, who was a prostitute (married women had less freedom than working women) to Tombstone Arizona where Wyatt, Virgil, and James Earp were with their wives. So four women and a tombstone on the label? So maybe leather, gunpowder, desert trees/sages? And maybe roses? I don't know what women wore as perfume back then, but I can't imagine those women wearing violets.
  21. This one is always a pleasant surprise. I put it on expecting your basic happy fruit, and it's much more complex. First, I'm always thinking peach when I reach for it once a year, but there's no peach. I hope I can remember that! (Maybe it shouldn't live next to Peach Sparkle.) It's nectarine, pomegranate, and rhubarb. I love rhubarb pie, but I can't recall what it smells like. The musk and amber anchor the sweetness and turn it into something much more complex and sophisticated. I might turn this bottle into a spray to cast it's web wider. A little aja could weaponize De Luscious.
  22. I’m so bad at this game. Other than the Creme Cake, the bee” in Beewitched and Cassia, it’s all a giant mystery. ‘Lantern’ went over my head, I would’ve kept guessing things related to fire. @hedgehog clever! Also impressive!
