Lately I'm in the mood for a lovely bunch of coconuts... so this one has to be at least a sample... hopefully I'll way amp the coconut and the wood will tame it with a mellow warmth. I've been thinking of requesting a creamy sugared coconut/sandalwood/musk. Maybe SW will be close to what I'm craving. The upcoming TT probably lost me with maple& brown sugar, but you never know, between the ladies brilliant blending and unpredictability of body chemistry, the Temptress could work a little coconutty spell as well... We'll see!

Well, I don't know if I reviewed this one yet but I am so in love with it... In response to the syrupy question, I wouldn't categorize it as such. It IS very much a >>peach<< scent on me, but I'd call it more creamy, cheezy's creme brulee observation is brilliant, because it has a custard like quality and a hint of caramelized sugar, though I would not call HTH caramel-y like Kittenish which is very much a rich caramel and peach blend. HTH has a creamy warm peachy and *hint* of peppery thing goin on.*** Like a spicy creme brulee with hot sassy peach sauce. And it does have a lil baked deliciousness feel to it for me... A couple weeks back, a friend whipped up a "Peach Un-pie" concoction (I should post the recipe on that thread if I can find it. Freakin FABULOUS) and all I could think of was HTH. Yes, I even had to but a little on to play my part in the peach symphony... Yeah yeah, me so corny... This and Red are my current faves, and if my collection was all just them I'd be ecstatic. Well, and Black. And PCMP. And H&S, Tranq, ahhhh... you get my picture. However, I strongly suggest no one else go for bottles of this. I want them ALL As soon as I can set up a trade scene I'll be after them. God knows I've amassed enough little shipping boxes!!! *** Side note, when I first got this, upon applying I noticed a little bit of burn, which was not really uncomfortable just notable since I'm usually not too sensitive skinned, i.e. I have no cinnamon/citrus issues, but felt the pepper in this. So, an FYI. It has noticably decreased over time, tho.

I can NOT wait till the OCCO reviews start coming in!!! I've been away from the boards a lot, and not able to order so much, but when I logged on and saw the OCCOs... well...*sigh*... It's funny too, lately I've been craving another cop add. My LAM/BAMs (and all my LPs really) are in a relocation-enhanced state of ultra upheaval. The red is a definite buy, so I'll be reviewing that--once I've ordered and it hits my new address! Probably black as well. Ail, PM or SG... whoever can answer (and has the chance!) is the brown sugar a prominent note here? I love vanilla, but sadly it seems I can't stand brown sugar... but if maybe if it's covered enough... ie, Black is doable for me because I can overlook it amoungst the other utter nomnomnomminess. Sexology (scented) is 99% brown sugar on my nose, so I can't wear it. I'm thinking the pinkness in Ail's PE might help too??? Plus there's no maple as I recall, right? Those notes and I aren't friends. But ooooooooh for a rich, creamy vanilla... *crosses fingers*

I've been wondering about phero counteractions. Are there a few to avoid mixing, specifically? *Paging PM, Ail, Dr Stone, Naughty Nurse Dolly...*

Ooooh, hope it's not too late for input. I loooove the sandalwood scent in large part because it is so light! I don't even know if I'll be able to wear the pink or brown sugars because they are more scents than phero-carriers (which is what I wanted at least for the b-nol.) I haven't had the chance to test them yet with ample dry-down time, but that was my impression with the limited time I had to trial those scents! The sandalwood is brilliant in that it covers completely, and smells divine itself, but is NOT overpowering and easy to layer... which was a concern too, what with the resin issue--I totally agree with PMs decision to "err" on the lighter side. Of course it is pretty enough that I'd like it even if it were stronger, but LOVE having the light scent option. If anything, I'd like even lighter versions of the sugars, keeping the option open to wear them alone as a scent OR use them as more of a booster to my fave LPs Would it be at all feasible to have two levels of the 'lightly scenteds' to choose? One at the current brown/pink/honeyed level and one at the sandalwood level, as options for the LAM/BAMs, like light vs whisper, perhaps? Or is that ridiculous... ? eta: I'm obviously mad, congested, or somethin... just retried BAM pink+brown after posting, and this time, even wet, the pink isn't that strong. It still makes me think strawberry milkshake (yes, as in brings the boys to the yard.) The brown IS very strong to me but I think I'm really sensitive to that note. Ah, well...

Yeah, if I rock the sale I could prob do it just stocking up on LAM/BAMs in this alone!

Wow, of all the scents (I got all but rose/orchid) this is my favorite. It is very light, like Dolly mentioned... Scentwise it reminds me a bit of the late faint drydown of Tantric on DH, which is soooo ridonkeylicious that when he wears it to work, ladies of all ages comment and giggle at him that I'd "better hold on to him tight, heehee" etc... ...I'll post a review of Tantric later with more detail, but, bottom line here: BAM sandalwood=niiiiiice. I can't imagine that this wouldn't layer with pretty much anything. I guarantee this bottle will NOT last long, and there are more in my future. As far as effects go, I'm not sure yet, but will post later on that :msn_red_fox_smilies-09: . Unfortunately, I screwed up the *perfect* chance for a blind test, because my package arrived a day before I expected, but my husband called soon after and in my excited state I told him---d'oh! -- Ah, well. I do that every time. Someday maybe I'll remember to keep my yap shut, in the name of science Unlikely since we are such a full disclosure couple... So, by my estimation from my Stamps email, I should be BAMming tomorrow!!!! Holy frijoles, *4* scents of it! (I added the original to directly compare scent/effects to LAM original... and possible same scent BLAMming ) YOWZA!! I have a feeling tomorrow will be verah verah interesting. I don't have any b-nol intense UNblends that I can think of, so this should be a lot of fun. Between that and getting to try new smells, it's gonna be a slice of heaven for sure. :J001: I wish it WAS possible to do LAMples and BAMples... Yeah, I got the original LAM right when it came out and tore through half the bottle already... and I haven't even used it in a while! I was beyond stoked to see the BAMs, my crush on a-nol has burned out a little, plus I still have WF and the a-nol spray. Which stinks alone, but is very easily covered with the smallest amount of perfume mixed in an atomizer.... Anyway, hadn't ordered any BAMs til today... now I got the pink, brown sugar and sandalwood mixes coming, I can NOT wait to try them out. I know you like both LAM and BAM, right? I'm not quite as big on cops, but the original LAM smelled really nice and I want so much to play with the b-nols!

Ah, figured as much, cause LAM/BAMs weren't in the sample orders... I want SO much to try them all, and just now placed my first BAM orders... for a minute, the sample idea hit, cause I remembered that they're 'scents', but that got kibboshed when I checked the samples shoppe. Glad I saw that before requesting a couple! Posting this was a very good idea! Anyways I am SO RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED to have my little (relatively speaking) order coming, it's been weeks since I've made one... wheeeeeeeeeee! Very interesting re: cops and hair. One of a growing cache of phero questions I'll be asking soon... but for now, I AM DYING TO HEAR REVIEWS OF LAM/BAM'S OTHER SCENTS... Whew, sorry for yelling, but I haven't been on the boards as much and have had to cut back on ordering, but when I saw the yummy scent options plus BAM's release, I'll be gettin some... I can't wait to hear some feedback, esp since I can only get a couple, three max, and will want to be able to layer... I was thinking 2 BAMs and a LAM, cause I can *blam* the former with WF if I feel like it. But, decisions, decisions! Leaning towards the pink and brown sugars, love amber and cinnamon too. The sandalwood is prob out because of the pachouli. I'm tearing through my original LAM (half gone!), love that one but want to try some new ones. Also curious about the extra cops in BAM, and the smell factor... Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Can't wait til the BAMs, and all the new scent incarnations, are delivered!

Hehe, me too! Yeah, I feel kinda bad though, always asking Ail to spell things out... but it's true, she's like an encyclopedia w/ the pheros! And there is a surprising lack of info out there, even online. At least I don't know where to find it! If you track down that article, pretty-please post a link...

So, I'm guessing that *these* are the issues with A1 that Lor was refering to in the other thread (about utilizing an...dienone/A1 in blends.) I'm so glad I stumbled on this one... can anyone refer me to sites/links re: the A1-depression connection? Want to know what to look out for...DH and I appreciate it!! We have a SS4M but we've been using PP on him, mostly. I'm glad I stumbled on this thread... had no clue about that with A1. Much thanks, as always Ail! (PS, are you sure tranq does not use A1?) If it's not too personal, why wouldn't you (or, anyone) be able to use it? Does it have some kind of health/medical deal? Or do you just not like some aspect of it...I know some people have mentioned headaches, hangovers or moodiness from certain pheros. I'm still trying to learn what does/doesn't work for me, generally speaking... please, share your anti-an...dienol sentiments if you're comfortable with it! This brings up an issue I have with the whole unlisted business, too. If there are pheros we especially like or like Lor mentioned need to avoid, how can we do that when we don't know what we're using? I understand the desire for secrecy but not at the expense of necessary dislosure of what we are putting on us... especially considering that Dr. Stone's real magic comes from (1) extremely precise ratios of (2) high-quality pheros, why the switch in labeling? The other LP Stone lab blends (BI, TH, TC etc) have their pheros listed. I don't wanna be a PITA here! I'm a kinda compulsive ingredient label reader, and get nervous if I don't know what I'm putting in or on me. Even if it's just by name. Maybe this has been explained already, if so I missed it...

Agree with everything you said!! When my better-than-christmas package arrived today, I was not in a position to try LAM, as much as I wanted to (though a smidge of Open Windows was a nice boost.) SO on the drive home, I scrounged for the LAM bottle to get that sh*t on me! Errrr, I mean to see how it smelled, and all. When I saw it in it's own little plastic wrap, I thought... ummm... it reminded me of my very first LP package, featuring a bottle of EoW (flashback here>>) and that EoW SMELL, even in it's not-yet-uncapped, never-been-rolled, virginal (as it were) state, through the plastic bag AND wrap. Strong. Stanky. Cheesy. A glory I could never have imagined, pungency wise. And the opened Essence, herself.. well, let's just say I'm quite sure my bottle will last me a lifetime... stated with love and RESPECT for her copulous powers. Flash forward to grabbing at my LAM and I catch a little whiff of cops, with the cap still on... Or maybe just pre-roll...?(Perhaps now would be the time to mention I also got Woozy AND the A-nol spray... :msn_red_fox_smilies-09: I could be a tad hazy;-) Regardless, I'm wary once again. Anyway, the important part: when I lightly dab a drop of LAM to sniff, it's just-- delicate sweetness. No cover-needy-cheese/coveriffic vanilla/overbearing honey. Just, soft, yummy, *lightly* honeyed *hint* of vanilla sweet skin smell. So's I swipe that bad boy (girl) ALL OVER my arm, and still... all I can think is, well, that's so...pretty. Powdery even, for lack of a better term, NOT in a bad way (I don't like powdery) just, soft. At this point, cause I know what's in this little bombshell, I'm questioning my olfactory prowess... Still can't wait to see what happens on clean skin, with a clean nose, out and about-- soon as I can take her for a spin

Very interesting... I could see bleedthrough with Egg, but S2S is crazy strong on me, and mine is amped (Dom.) I never wear it though so it's not getting the love it deserves... the bottle's a bit of a leaker though, so it's getting out anyway, and the scent-soaked label smells really nice I giggle when I look at the oil-soaked pinup art, it's a funny image to me that the scent is just that aggressive. I've been trying to find something to blend it with but nothing can stand up to it! Alls I can say is that must've been one hungry Cougar!

I'm kinda freaking out here, and wondering why I didn't post this question before ordering... well, that I couldn't possibly wait an extra couple days, of course. Now I'm spasmoin', having flip-flopped 20 times on 'which should I've done', can I change any of em now, bla, bla, bla... Aaauuuugghh!!! I'll admit this is one of those rare times I miss the decision being made for me, cause I can't make up my damn mind that I chose the right one. I wish I had the lowdown/breakdown of differences with diffusion, integrity, intensity or whatever differences there may be between the two from M, D, A and the Doc... or a link if they've already been covered in detail. Help here, pleeease... I was hoping to avoid the silicone powdery residue (I *rarely* get it, but it happens) and just thought the oil would meld better-- BUT totally forgot I also put them on my hair ends, with a couple drops of scent, there's no way I could do that with all oil, I'm thinking. Plus, I'm worried the oil will keep the pheros too close to me, which is the goal for Focus and to a lesser extent Tranq and Woozy, but not so much the others...? Thing is... I JUST DON'T KNOW. And... I kinda ordered... nearly everything. Damn my impatience and poor planning, should've asked this stuff in the eternal (feeling) wait to go live! Now I know I'm PMSing, cause I feel so stupid I could just cry. I can't afford to make this kind of mistake-- I'm more than a little pissed at myself. And I haven't even ordered any shower goodies or the bottle organizer yet, but I am once I get these... Gawd I'm awful. But a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Seriously, there must be more to the oil base than not shaking (don't really care,) easier splitting (N/A thusfar) and true base blending (a plus, regardless that the aforementioned aspects aren't a big deal to me.) And more to the silicone than a skin barrier... i.e. does it *really* keeps the pheros 'truer' longer? In the bottle or on the skin? Most important is that I really don't know the diffusion properties of the two. I am sooooooooo sorry for the long P(sycho)MS rant! My self-imposed dunce cap is very heavy right now... I needed to bitch it out. I'll try to chill, and trust the info is coming. I'm sure it'll work out, at least I trust in the pheros themselves being top-notch and that is the most important thing.
