  1. *adore* the coffee/biscotti scent...but getting the vanilla-wax-of-doom in the drydown...and that distinctive Super for Women powdery-metal smell has been lurking threateningly in the background throughout. I didn't put very much on, but the IW (I assume) gave me a weird spaced-out feeling while wet- you know when your eyes glaze over and you just stare into space? I got that for a while. VERY odd.... I do credit it for making a generally crabby person smiley and jokey, though.

  2. Didn't think such a thing was possible (maybe just a cycle thing?) but I think this may be too foody for me. At first it was graham cracker blast ... I don't like graham crackers :666: ... then a warm, tooth-achingly sweet milk chocolate ... then a kind of waxiness like what I sometimes get with vanillas ... amd fading fast ... all within about an hour :'( Will try shaking it up a bit next time...

  3. Trying for first time today -- I see why it is an alltime favorite! It's uplifting and cool (temperature-wise) and a bit sweet and sexy and though some might not I would totally wear this at night. This would be a mega-hit commercially I think, especially in places that are warm year-round. I got a lot of musk at first, very nicely melded with some non-foody, non-suntan-lotiony coconut... but my skin has drunk it fairly quickly and now I've mostly just got shimmery bamboo. With a barrier layer first I could see going through this by the gallon.

  4. ITA w/Luna that it is actually not that foody -- the peach is 'sheer' if you can imagine that -- it's not the gloppy syrupy thickness of peach cobbler guts, but more like a gossamer peach-scented veil. Or, think peach tea as opposed to peach syrup. In fact it does give an overall tea-like impression. Don't get me wrong, I *love* the kittenish-type peach cobbler guts, but this feels as different as you can get while still being the same flavor. It's coolly distant and vurry sophisticated... I imagine wearing this while reclined on a divan on a riverside veranda swathed in linen and and sipping something cold.

  5. So sad I had to trade because my skin has decided to FA REAK OUT at the mere approach of cinnamon lately :'( but so happy you like it PL... we seem to have really similar tastes & skin :) I too didn't get any raspberry at all which was good as it also goes plasticky on me.

Probably my favorite feature of this is how well the lavender works with everything else -- you know how lavender can sometimes be very separatist and stand up among ingredients and shout 'EVERYBODY BACK UP OFF ME!!' at the other notes - it totally doesn't do that in this mix -- it is in happy harmony and I think maybe even ties everything together.

This blend is also unusual to me in that you really can't peg it -- you don't go "oh, I can only wear this at night", or in a certain season, or whatever - it's SO versatile... sophisticated and grown up enough for work, fun for going out, a bit seductive for playtime...

As for its EoW-covering abilities, I didn't get even the initial sharpness -- one of the best covers I think I've ever tried -- the only one I can think of that might be even more 'invisibly' covering is AVV, at least for me.

  6. Pink sugar can get weirdly... piercing? sour? I can't explain - on me, but in this, it's so harmonious with the vanilla and the amber. To me is an extremely cheerful scent, for daytime, and very youthful- I imagine younger girls would just flip for it.
