Well, I know this one is sold out, but I just had to add that my fiancee really enjoyed smelling this one last night....he described it as "unusual", "sexy", and "slightly Egyptian".....another lovely scent ladies.....keep them coming.....
Interesting he should say that. The way Kapet has mellowed it reminds me, in a lot of ways, of Sabra. It's different, spicier, but has that same smooth seductive richness. For my money Kapet is morphing into a very, very sexy, siren-like perfume.
Come to think of it, I wonder if the ladies have ever considered doing a "Siren" perfume, or if they have done one in the past? That might be fun, for the whole femme fatale blast!

Add another "Wow!" here...
Say, Scourger - who's the artist?
Yeah that there Robin and Marian one - that's a pretty intense kiss... I think that might brighten a corner of my place quite nicely...

Hi guys, anyone got any thoughts on these yet? They look intereresting and I am curious because I have really liked everything I have tried from the January 08 releases so far and am wondering if I should just put them ALL on my wishlist
Thanks in advance

The atmosphere and scents of all the naughty stuff people get up to on New Year's Eve. Fizzy champagne, spiced rum punch and an excess of other assorted booziness, a whiff of 'mary jane', and a sexy hint of perfumed and sweaty skin as warm bodies dance the night away - incense, warm vanilla and ylang ylang - and a last breath of Siberian Fir.
When I first read the description above I thought this might be a bit smoky, stale and stuffy. Boy was I wrong. It's gorgeous, it's bright, fizzy and energetic. I can definitely pick out the hint of siberian fir in the background - but it is very in the background and there is almost a hint of fruit in here too - but I can't quite place it.
I really love this perfume, and would buy a big bottle pronto, but unfortunately it's one of those my skin eats. So I am sulking right now...

I wore this again yesterday, and I swear it has improved further. When I first got a sample of this I thought it was nice but it was not on my big bottle list. Now it has "come together" and become richer, deeper and "slinkier" it is not only on my big bottle list it is right at the top of my big bottle list!
I do believe I am in lurrrve....

When you say a couple of days... do you mean two, or three, or....??

Don't they all just sound FABULOUS !!!! 12th Night in New Orleans caught my attention because of the dried orange peel and patchouli (my favorite scent in the world), that and the *new beginnings* thing (sure could use one). Ashes to Dust: the *banishing potion*, although the Hydrangea as the 1st note, well ... I' not a big floral fan, it's if-y. Seduction and Redemption sound interesting (perhaps it's the story that allures me), Enticement sounds a bit fruity. I'm going to go for it and get them ! Liz
I didn't review Aztec Moon because it was one of the florals that my skin just consumes on the spot, so I couldn't really pass judgement. I do know that I tried a drop or two in my oil simmerers and its smelled fantastic and lasted for days. So, I think it was my anti-floral skin chemistry rather than the fragrance that was the problem for me.

Yippeeeeeee! Happy Dance!!!! I am like a kid at Christmas!!!!
So far I haven't ordered all of the samples from a given month. I have the feeling I am going to be sorely tempted to do so this time round though. I am particularly curious about the phero blend....
Yup, I'm excited!

Deep, dark, wickedly sensuous & deliciously rich. 33 bewitching ingredients in all, encompassing the magickal properties of Love, Lust, Fertility, Eternal Youth, Playfulness, Fascination, Riches, Luck, Healing, Protection & Hex-breaking. Includes 3 types of rich Amber resins, 3 kinds of aged and Indonesian Patchoulis, and 3 types of delicious Vanilla and Vanilla Bean, plus Apricot, Cinnamon, Frankincense, Honey, Maple, Musk, Myhrr, Peach, dark Sugars, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Violet, and more...
When this exclusive was released at Magical Omaha, it seemed to sell out in record time. Personally, this was my first Love Potion ever; I added it to an order I was making of Arcana Oils on the MO site. At first, I was unimpressed: it was packaged in the old flip-top bottle, and a touch of oil had smeared the label. At first try, it smelled like straight maple sugar, too. So I just put it aside.
About a month or so later I tried again . . . And it was just right. I noticed notes I had missed before, and the overall effect was sweet, dark, and comforting. One night I dabbed on a bit at bedtime, and I had the soundest sleep--and best dreams--I'd had in months. My boyfriend finds it even more appealing than Scandalous Intentions, and that wonderful, warm smell tends to lift my mood in some of the crappiest situations.
The "Sold Out!" description for this one lists LP: Black as a substitute, and while they share a kind of similar "feel," they're very different scents. LP: Black is more of a dark honeycomb-vanilla for me, while Raven Moon has more of a maple, brown-sugar sweetness with other notes peeking out.
I was heartbroken when I realized that MO had sold out of Raven Moon already, and I finished off my bottle about two months ago. So I was thrilled to hear that Love Potions is brewing up a new batch. It will be a bit different due to changes in suppliers for certain components, but it should be up on the site in a couple of weeks or so.
When that happens, I shall be sending a nice chunk of money to Magical Omaha . . . Again! Amazing how that happens . . .
Well, with "three rich amber resins" I think Dolly and I will probably be standing right behind you in the queue when Cindy gets the new batch. I want to get a bottle of native soil from MO too, but I shall wait until I can order both I think. Thanks for the heads up, this one sounds really nice!

This is one of those perfumes I smell and instantly think "Wow, that is SO Love Potion Perfumerie." It just reminds me of the LPs in general.
It's kind of spicy-ish once it settles, but it smells very green while wet to me. As for effectiveness, things are only as effective as you want them to be
Thanks for this Jessmo. I'm not too sure how I feel about green perfumes, I like spicy though. Spicy is goooood! I think I might have to see if I can get a drop of this to try out!

My fiancee had much the same reaction.....he liked the Honeycomb when I first wore it, and has liked it more each subsequent time (it has grown on him, apparently), when I tried on PheroGirl for him, he said that is was "okay", but not one that he would choose for me to wear.......
You know, I think there is something that is kind of almost "addictive" about Honeycomb. Sometimes, I even find myself putting some on before going to bed. Which is not something I usually do - especially if I am alone. Has anyone else also noticed how it clings to your clothing? My scarf still smells of Honeycomb from the last time I wore it, and I haven't worn that scarf for a few days.
I do like PheroGirl, but find Honeycomb much bigger, bolder and up-front. For me, Honeycomb is Mae West compared to PheroGirl's Marilyn Monroe.

This scent is really intoxicating, isn't it? I have been wearing it today, and I don't know if anyone else around me is noticing it, but I am certainly enjoying smelling myself!! I would go snatch up another bottle, but it is better to let others pick it up, I guess (share and share alike)......plus, I am saving for this month's new releases!!
Oh god.
All those aphrodisiacs and loads of specials...
If you hear a weird keening sound later this month... It will be my bank manager. Sobbing.

There have been very few that we didn't agree on.....this one is definitely a good one!!
I do love this one. My big bottle hasn't arrived yet and I keep sniffing my sample and wondering if I should have snapped up a second bottle... But, given the scarcity that might be greedy, if there are still any left in a couple of weeks I might have to stock up.

I am absolutely ITCHING to find out about the February releases... ALL aphrodisiacs! Is that right? Whoo-hoo!
