Pheromones are hypoallergenic - since their use from the 1990's on, there are no reports of allergic reactions; Nor have we seen any from extensive tests with our newer pheromones. Headaches are caused by low quality pheromones, which is not an issue with us.

First time I used Pheros. It was unknowingly. I was given a perfume oil rollerball - like Mara's but a different company. I wore it to work and got really different reactions from my male co-workers - and trust me I had been there years. It was blatant.

This happened a couple of days on the trot. Then I asked my pal where she got the perfume because I wanted MORE amd found it that it contained nol and cops.

I did get - when I reapplied - and remember I am a SLATHER IT ON girl - some harmless light palpitations but was advised this would wear off and it did after I used the perfumes a bit. It wasn't as someone suggested "excitement due to using pheros for the first time" because heck, I ddn't know I was using pheros.

It did settle on that perfume, but I never had the symptom even using very high nol levels when the pheros can from a repitable and respected source. My initial pheros came from someone who sells as a hobby on ebay and does not state where he sources his pheros from.

Now I stick to phero suppliers I can reach on the end of a telephone and who can tell me EXACTLY what is in my bottle.

I'm with you on the "I am woman hear me roar" front.

I have personally, never felt inclined to either marry, or live with a partner. Don't get me wrong. I loved them - or I wouldn't have been with them in the first place.

But I am just selfish I guess. Living with a partner would drive me crazy. They can live next door if they like

The second brew edition of Betrothal was done around 9-10 months ago, and it was very nearly identical. It might have been a tiny touch more dense smelling, (rather than airy) than the original. This edition is almost gone and I will have to purchase all the ingredients anew before I rebrew again. I should move that up to the endangered list, cause it looks like there's only about 9 bottles left.

Who was it that made the "housekeeper" comment? Was it Zsa Zsa Gabor?

Well, our wonderful Phero Guru introduced me to a pharmaceutical lab that is going to create precise phero juice for us from now on. I was on the phone to Mr. Dude today, and I read him this thread, so he's going to do this - or something quite similar for us very soon. YAY!

 

He's doing 4 of them for us to start with: this 'chatty rapport' blend that you (and coincidently our Guru too) have been talking about; an extreme sexual attraction potion for men, ditto for women, and also what he calls a MILF blend, and Danna and I will be calling our "Cougar Potion" LOL! We have been laughing our asses off about this one and I can't wait to make it. It's for 'older' women, to give off the impression of being quite a bit younger, and for attracting young hunks. Ahhh, I think it will be my new staple scent. LOL!

 

He's also going to start building us a library of phero blends for different purposes, so that we can add any phero blend of your choice to any of the existing perfumes in our catalog for an additional fee.

 

You might also be interested in what he was explaining to me as 'the law of diminishing returns'. He said there's a level of prime effectiveness as far as dosage goes, and he's going to provide specific instructions as to how much to add to each bottle of perfume for it to be at its best. He said, wearing more after that specific level is attained ends up costing you more money while not working any better. Such as, I might put 20% heavier concentration into the perfume, but after the prime level, it might only increase the effectiveness by 2%, so that I am wasting 18%. - - I know many of you guys are pros with pheros and may know this already, but while a pro at the "magic" part, I am a newbie to the phero part, so this is all fascinating to me.

Are these going to be limited ed.s though? I can see that there might be a sustained demand for, at least, the attraction blends. Or are you going to maybe keep the phero juice basis and switch the fragrances around a little? Maybe seasonally?

You can certainly put aside the first bottle of "Rapport" for me (and the others sound great too!)

It's very true with pheros that less is very often, much, much more. I find that with copulins big time. If I use it neat it does nothing for me until the next day when it has worn down a lot...

Yeah, I've been known to use it when dealing with someone who is "holding back".....

That's what I love about pheros and potions, they are a little something "extra" in your armoury that you can pull out when needed.

I absolutely love betanol.....BUT, I have to make sure not to wear too much, or I start telling too much, myself....

I have, admittedly, been known to apply industrial levels of betanol (5 sprays of double strength...)

It worked though... oh boy did it work!

I think this would be a great idea.....with a nice warm, comforting scent also to help facilitate....

Thinking on it... You could possibly call it "PheroGirl Rapport". I personally have found the communication pheros (esp beta or alpha/beta mixes), really, really, really, useful. They open things up and help to improve trust levels so you can get to the heart of the matter more easily.

Hi Ladies..

After the runaway success of PheroGirl and reactions to Dominance. I am kind of wondering what you will do next. I wonder if you would consider a "rapport" blend, using either just beta androstenol or a blend of alpha and beta androstenol?

Just to facilitate discussion, but I know a lot of folk here know this already, the alpha-nol is a kind of "chatty" phero. Which is great for ice-breaking and funzies, the beta opens up a deeper sense of rapport and deeper, more intense and private discussion. (I've found out so many things weaing beta!) A blend of the two is always interesting but mixed with "best friend" and "communication" oils and essences to give it an extra kick, a beta, or an alpha and beta blend could be very interesting.

Just my two cents worth!

I make a wonderful honey glycerin soap.....made with all natural and organic ingredients. It is good for dry skin as well as a wonderful treatment for acne. Would you like for me to send you a bar when I send the lotion bar that I promised you? I will be making a batch of both at about the same time......

I am so glad! I will let you know when I re-batch.....I am getting ready to do so in the next few weeks, because that is the only soap that helps my 9 year old's eczema....

Sorry ladies I missed this thread. What soap? I heard Goat's Milk soap was good, but is this something different? I don't have eczema but do get freaked-out skin, sore, itchy and peeling, from some products sometimes.

All of the LP varieties share the same recipe at its base.

 

Winter 08 has a TON of butter in it, as well as the scent of winter preserves / candied fruits.

 

Autumn has pumpkin, fig, dried leaves and a hint of spice.

Thanks for this Ladies! Autumn and I did not get on too well (odd I know) I was interested to see if this was very similar I think it was the leaves and spices that might have morphed out on me.

Only one way to find out about for sure about Winter though!

This is a big fragrance, and FABULOUSLY done......it is a nice scent.....but just a little too powerful for my personal tastes.....I think you will really love it.....

I like it to enter the room before me, AND stay in the room as a reminder when I have left!

I never got to try Bastet......BUT this one, to me, has a feel of "antiquity" to it.....I think that you said you like strong perfumes.....this is strong. The floral is BIG when I first put it on.....BUT I will say that this is not a floral that turned funky on me, either. The floral stayed true. After drydown, the floral settles into the background (but is ever-present), and the spicy resin and muskiness comes through more. I liked it best after it dried down.

 

I think you should try a sample.....you and I both like dark, deep, and resinous, but I think you also like the BIG BOLD scents.....this one might be right up your alley......

Yup it's true - I love a BIG fragrance... hell, I even still wear that 80s mainstay Opium and as someone said you could cover the funk of a cow byre with that one.

I like it Big, Bolshie and Bodacious.. Funnily enough I think I like my men the same way!

OK, so I tried this one also today, and while it was nice, it just wasn't my cup of tea.....BUT I know that there are a lot of you ladies who are going to SWOON over it.

 

I get the spicy resins and a touch of musk in the background....In the forefront, it is heavy, thick, and rich, with a heavy floral note. BUT, not a modern floral.....this is definitely a floral of antiquity.....very thick, heady, and sweet. A bit too much floral for my tastes, though.....

 

Once it dries down, it mellows, but it takes quite a while for it to do so.....it is very long-lasting, too.....I am sure that there will be a lot of you who get hooked on this one.....

This is also on my "must-try" list. I think it is the one that Mara said has a similar base to Bastet? Do you think I will like it Dolly? Our tastes seem mostly, but not totally, similar.

Oh hun, sorry to hear about your knee - that's rough... is it on the mend and are they looking after you and treating you kindly? At least your modding duties can be done sitting down!

I don't go to pherotalk much these days. To be honest I am going through a spell of flat-out working from home and so have limited opportunites for phero use. There are a few people I miss from over there though, and I do drop by to read from time to time.

How you doing? I went all out and bought a full bottle. Goddess there are so many new scents out Im afraid to open my CC next month.

 

We are simular in phero preferences, I switch around but always find myself leaning towards the Alpha pheros myself. Really looking forward to trying this one. I have the origonal Pherogirl and it took some time to get used to. Course I wasnt shaking the bottle at first until I think Carrie pointed it out to me.

 

Look forward to visiting with you here and trying all the new scents.

My Name is Tisha, I am 42, married ,2 kids. I have been a member here on the forum and a customer of LP for some time now and thought it was about time I said hello.

 

I know some of the ladies here already, from Androtics. I love pretty much everything about the LP Perfumes. From the scents themselves to the lovely little bottles and beautiful artwork.

 

Just bought a few new bottles that should be here shortly and I am very excited about receiving them. I ordered Sweet Valentine and of course Pherogirl Dominance.

 

Look forward to getting to know everyone and trying out more lovely new scents .

I tried to edit my post to add this but the board was being wonky and ,well, here are some additional details that might help those of you thinking about this scent.

 

The rose starts off bright but quickly softens and mellows and for the duration of the scent, is a deep, full rose. I get a mental picture of gorgeous velvety dark red blooms. No greenery. The chocolate note is perfectly balanced with the rose. It is a dark-chocolate thins sort of chocolate (to my nose). Sophisticated..not a "foody" chocolate note. The sugar notes seem on the lighter side. They support the rose, chocolate ,coffee and orris but do not compete much for attention. Hopefully more details help get a fuller "picture" of this very nice scent. The more I wear it today the more I'm falling in love with it.

Thanks for this Blupest. Much Kudos to you! I must order this. It sounds exactly what I wanted, and your review is spot on for my question about the type of chocolate and the balance. I just hope it sticks around until I can make my next order!

To those of you unsure about the alpha pheros, worry not, I absolutely douse myself in them (at a rate that makes some guys cringe) and have had no problems.
