  1. Well, Chai, I totally understand your hesitation. BUT, since they are adults (and still your babies.....and always will be), I think use of the phero blends would be ok, as long as you have cautioned them against indiscriminant use.

Also, you need to explain to them that copulin use in public can elicit unwanted advances from men....strangers, and they must be prepared for that and know how to handle it. Cougar, if I understand, has only a small amount of copulins, but PG had ONLY cops in it, and Dominance has three times that of the original PG (that is A LOT). I would suggest that they use the copulin-containing blends in public with EXTREME caution.

To be honest at that age they are probably still producing tons of their own cops too. :) From reactions I have noticed I don't think PheroGirl (original) is too cop-loaded. Not compared to the six drops plus of neat EoW a lot of us have used. It's a difficult one, as Dolly says, they are your babies but they are adults too.

  2. In vial, I really like the smell of this, it's definitely a guy smell and seriously nice. I would really appreciate this type of fragrance on a guy,

On wet, stays pretty true, I am getting some woods and what I think must be the moss, if this is the oakmoss, I really like it.

As it dries I start to get the citrus. It's still a really great scent and easily comprable with a lot of the designer colognes for guys. However, I personally can smell the pheros in the background, through the cologne. I think this is probably because I have used these pheros on myself on several occasions in the past from Androtics.

It is towards the background though. It might also be the smell of the solution Androtics dilute with I have only ever bought from them so I'm not sure if it is the carrier or the phero. It's a smell I like though and I reckon anyone who has not experimented with pheros a fair amount would be unable to pick it out or recognise it. :) It's not at all unpleasant in fact it is rather nice. :)

I will post again later to see how it blossoms and rounds down

Half an hour further down the line and the phero smell has receded totally, leaving the fragrance which is still going strong and still smells really expensive and high-end designer. :)

  4. I really do like this, you have the smooth round vanilla yummy creaminess in the background and on top of that is a soft muskiness and something that smells to me like wet daffodil stems, also when I first put it on I get something that is almost like a spring floral maybe daffodil or tulip but that could just be me.

The scent of wet stems dies back a bit but you still have this spring-like greeness which is incredibly seductive.

Really nice, I think this is my favorite LP proper, or very closely tied with Red

  5. When my mom and I opened the vial to give this one a sniff, we both instantly said " It smells like Bay Rum!" I'm not really sure why, but thats what it reminds me of in the vial. On my skin it softens out a lot. It smells almost light, slightly ambery and a little peachy. Definitely not the hot n' heavy sex potion I was expecting. I have the strangest skin chemistry known to man kind.

Very similar to what I get with it. I lose the peach a lot through, when thoroughly dried down it's quite light, a lovely amber, note up top and has a kind of slightly fresh sweet powderiness to it.

I think it must be my skin too... It's not unpleasant at all, just nothing like everyone else seems to be reporting. I really do like it but on me it smells almost virginal. :)

  6. May, I agree; Scandalous is fantastic! And, I applaud you for being your own best friend and giving yourself a second bottle!

It is so great to be an LP Addict, isn't it?

I had to grab some more, especially as it is a limited and there are so few bottles left. It was a get it now or never have it situation.

    So I grabbed... :o

  7. The more I sniff this, the more I love it.

I think I will need a second bottle.... I would cry if they stopped making this one.

    I capitulated...

Bottle number two of Scandalous is now on it's way! :o

  8. I have just got my order from Cindy.

Heavens to Betsy! Scandalous is fantastic. I really, really hope Cindy gets this rebrewed it is to DIE for. Dolly, if you have not done so already, just get a bottle. One of the reviews above has it nailed, it's like Red with an amazing blend of ambers balancing it perfectly and then a sprinkle of sugars. It is smooth, classy, slightly warmly and sweetly spicy and it is truly, madly, deeply sexy!

I think I like this even more than Sabra and/or Sugared Honeycomb. Just get some! :(

To clear any confusion this is Scandalous not Scandalous Intentions - which is also goregous but in a very different way! :P

  9. I recently received a sample of LP original in one of my packages.....you should try it, as it is truly lovely.....rich and creamy, and it lasted on my skin for a long, long time.....

I have not yet tried LP green.....

I'm trying Angel of Spring today, I'll try LP Green tonight and see how my skin likes it. :(

  10. I really do like this one, it's like a bright spring day, sunny and full of oxygen with the scent of flowers on the breeze. If this is similar to betrothal potion, then I really NEED to try betrothal potion.

This puts me in mind of spring weddings. It's predominatally floral but it is not overly sweet. It's like walking through a fields of flowers with the blossoms nodding in the breeze.

It's fresh and refreshing, it is most definitely not a perfume that is "in your face" or screaming "I am perfume hear me roar!" It just makes you smell like you have spent all your life living in a beautiful scented garden.

    And that can't be bad!

  11. Oh yeah, it is just totally yummy, isn't it? Black is definitely one of my faves.....so is Red, though.....I have a hard time choosing......they actually smell good layered.....

Like, Dollisimo :( I have both Red and Black in solid. I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that I should try the original too. However, that said, am going only on a "trial while still in the vial" I think Green might become my new favourite.

  12. Since several of you are saying this is coming off light on you, and it is coming off light on me too (of course on Danna, it's overpowering) I am going to amp this one up a bit. I think the dilution mellowed it more than I expected over the weeks that it matured. I'm going to double up the recipe without adding any further dilution, so anything ordered from here on should be quite a bit stronger, ok?

Well, that answers my previous post about it being light. I think I might have to retry this at it's stronger level. Because it is very beautiful.

  13. Yeah, I may need a full bottle of this myself.....I really like it.....

Now this, THIS, is lovely. ;) It is nothing like Rajah on me where Rajah is beautiful but loud and flat resins. This is like a lace curtain soaked in different perfumes getting caught in the breeze, here a whisper of this, then a whisper of that. Where rajah marches, Sharqi shimmies.

It is lovely, and I have a feeling (just instinctual) this will improve with a bit of age and maturation. Being the galumphing unsubtle fool I am, I would have liked it to be a little less chiffony, but that works with the dance image. This is a veil of perfume, mysterious and gossamer like. Not a sledgehammer to the sinuses.

    Very lovely

  14. Good thinking May, I see that I neglected to put that on the perfumerie page and will rectify that right away.

This does not contain real grapefruit oil, however, artificial citrus can *act* like real citrus on the skin never the less. Citrus is known to cause hyper sensitivity to light, called photosensitivity. If worn on bare skin in direct sunlight, it can amplify the effects of the sun and burn (or bleach) your skin, and quite quickly. So - no wearing Cougar in your bikini. (You're not really supposed to wear any perfume when sunning yourself anyway.) If you dilute it in a spray bottle and spray it on your outer clothes, or wear it under your clothes, you'll be fine.

Thanks for this Mara! ;) I thought I had read something somewhere about it becoming irritant in high sun - but I could not place it and really was not too sure.. I think this would be great for summer, but it's under clothes application only on my vacation.

  15. Good post, May! Looking forward to the sequel.....

I am going to be testing the Cougar additive paired with Dark Seductions at my sweetie's annual company dinner this Thurs night......

Oh, and BTW......if you are feeling really adventurous today, try Nasty Habits paired with Dirty Sexy.....YUM....

Sounds yummy but I have a bit of a problem...

I don't have any dirty sexy and my skin has just eaten most of the Habits and done something pretty unpleasant to the remainder...

I don't get it - this is more resiny - not floral or foody...

  16. I wore this today to take a group of guys, all in their 20s, through a workshop. I have worked with them before so I do have a baseline. But it may not have been the ideal situation as it was a fairly formal event.

It smells great, pink grapefruit, sweet, fresh and a little sticky. ;)

I have one question on it though - and this is purely thinking ahead for the summer and my vacations, how does grapefruit oil work with the sun? I wonder if it is ok to wear in high sun?

Anyway on the phero reactions and this is just on one test, I have a similar event next week so will try it again then to get a more reliable view.

I got a LOT more eyecontact from a few of the guys and prolonged intense eyecontact. After the workshop during conversation and chat they seemed less aware of the differences in our positions, sometimes you get seen as "teacher" and of course there is the age difference.

Outside of the workshop I did have something odd in that one girl just stared and stared and stared in fascination. Which was slightly odd.

I had a good day and a bit of news that took some pressure of me, so the following might be due to that but I felt quite sprightly very happy and jolly and jokey. I was also a bit ditzy, I kept losing track of where things were and was prone to giggle. That could just be normal high spirits, but this might not be the best choice for business meetings! There are pheros that can make me a bit dappy so this is not impossible.

Also, I was feeling so happy that on the way home I popped into the local gallery and impulsively *gulp* bought an original.... so maybe Cougar can be bad for your bank balance! ;)

My bank manager is in tears, but I am ecstatic because I love it and it is mine, mine, mine! :) :)

    (now applying some Nasty Habits)

  17. Of COURSE you are lovely enough! I was a bellydancer for over 20 years, in nightclub shows. It's ALLLLLLLLLL illusion. Well. mist of it. And, most of us never got over playing dress up. You wouldn't notice some of the biggest starts, if you saw them on the streets-- BELIEVE me! Some of the finest dancers are downright mousy, off-stage!

Little story from my early years as a student ot Marta Schill's--- class was breaking up. I had come to class in full costume (because I wanted to :-) The husband of one of the beginning students came to pick her up. He looked at me..........

I took her aside, and said, "Honey, you don't really need the class." (She had been ruminating about not having the time) All you need is the COSTUME." ;)

    LMAO!

  18. But... "fertility" means a LOT more than babies.. money, any kind of enrichment, fertile ideas....ir goes on and on.

*Nods* this is why a lot of people, including me, refer to their projects as "my baby". Bringing a big project to fruitition is - I think - similar to being pregnant, sometimes it makes you sick, sometimes it makes you feel excited and joyous, some bits you dread....

    :)
