  1. Haha - yes pretty much so. My kids are finding that out - they keep wondering how their mom & I know what they are up to. Been there, done that, might have gotten away with it when i was your age but doutbtful lol.
  2. Congrats!! Sorry to hear it was taken - like my dad would say - it is hard to be original.
  3. Welcome to the forum!!
  4. ooooooooooooohhhhhhh bbaaaaaaaaaby yeeeeeeesssssssss ...... is always a good one
  5. Haha - too many openings on that one: "Hey QG, are you happy to see me or are those LPs in your pocket ..." Maybe but Cuddle Batty just doesn't have the same ring. And - how did the interview go??
  6. Sounds like a great scent! And I am glad he liked it so much.
  7. No - like we said in a different thread it is really no different from using cologne, women using make-up, etc. No guilty conscience here.
  8. Now I see why Luna could not even give out a clue ... Me neither ... My aunt always had parrots. Very intelligent birds. Yes - everyone has some beautiful animals. And kids! LMAO - sure does look like it! Some of the ladies have discussed eggs before lol.
  9. @Loki: Haha - yes LV & Mel did a great job!
  10. Thank you! Give it a try in a controlled environment. There is really not a whole lot of serious bad that can happen. I doubt it would be as bad as a guy going heavy on the 'none and then running into some drunk alphas. You never know - you might find something that works in some situations. I have played with female mixes in the past just to see what would happen.
  11. I had an entire post dissappear - sorry. You are preaching to the choir here. But I will tell you a stroll through a barracks/firebase with young guys of all races singing songs together with lyrics that would obviously make us cringe is pretty common. And they are not uneducated. Just a different perspective I guess. Of course it would matter. I just did not glean that she was so much personally offended so much as she was pointing out she felt the comment was very racist. That would seem the logical conclusion. Like I said though, I think there is a shift happening where certain words do not carry the import they used to, and there can be a lot of reasons for that. So if the word does not hurt you or your friends, then there night not be a hesitation to use it. Okay - i think we beat this one to death. Back to stalking!!
  12. I understand. Like I said - we need to be careful about what we say so as not to offend people. And I hope Maeia or JOC were not offended by her words or mine. Nor you by my comments about popular music. And not trying to offend - but you would be at the upper edge of the "younger generation" I am thinking of lol. a lot of the younger people I am around are 17 - 22/23. The younger end of the exact population you tend to. In fact, if you remember, I worked with them before they unfortunately had to come to you, so it is more first hand experience. There is a shift happening. I just do not think our "reality" on this issue is theirs.
  13. I appreciate the additional commentary you added to the original first line. But I am going to have to politely and conditionally disagree. Yes, it can be taken as racist and offensive, but I think that also depends on context, like much in the English language. And Invi is right - as we have all seen it is very easy to take something wrong in a format like this forum. And therefore even if you are Asian and saying this, given it is difficult to determine context in this format, the term could be offensive. However here is where I differ. While it might offend, who says what does determine nowadays whether it is racist or merely offensive to an individual. I dated a Korean girl for a while - one of those odd situations where you both try to make a great friendship work as a romance and then realize you are really only good friends - and she would use that term - but in two different contexts. The first context was when, well, she was in the mood and I was not picking up on her subtle clues. Me miss subtle clues - go figure, right? But the second context was actually where I saw her first use it - as an insult to guys, in essence calling them horn dog racists. When guys would assume she was some Asian bimbo who would sleep around looking for a Sugar Daddy, she would break contact, and with a sneer say "Me so horny". I almost choked on a beer the first time she did that. We could also go into the use of the infamous "N" word. About ten years ago key members of the NAACP and other black leaders made a push and appealed to black entertainers to stop using the word. obvously popular culture blew right through that request. And as the defense attorney was told during the Zimmerman, the line of thought that the "N" word is instantly racist is "old school" - it now all depends on context. And from my experience around young people, it seems to be the case. They seem to pretty much reject the racism/offense reality our generation assumes. "Today, someone said a slur. It actually doesn’t matter what slur it was, because you see, he didn’t intend to hurt anyone and therefore it couldn’t possibly be a slur. Much like how intent magically protects the actions of all privileged viewpoints, intent means that anything you say, no matter how many groups it hurts, what awful views it enables, no matter what systemic bigotries it props up through the usage of language that enforces social concepts that crush a marginalized group, it mystically negates all of that." I do not completely disagree with this but perhaps it best applies to those considered "privleged" because again an entire younger generation seems to reject the notion that certain terms are now automatically racist or even offensive. Now if they are offended by something you say or do, they will certainly let you know. But that does not preclude them from using terms that we as an older generation are certainly sensitive about. Again, I am not arguing with the idea we need to be careful with what we write here on the forum as the intent or meaning can easily be misinterpreted and offend. But the idea that certain terms are automatically racist seems to be changing no matter what we think or say. Exactly. Well said as usual.
  14. Congrats everyone - and get to posting, Tyvey. Tell the day job you need a sabbatical to take care of really important business - haha!
  15. And there we have a full month's worth for Mara ... coming to you sometime this year haha!!
  16. Ride'r Cowboy: leather, whiskey & sawdust
  17. Are we back to donating blood, eggs, etc haha ... or did we just never really stop?
  18. Now that I have tried both Lionheart and LP #9 I see what you are saying with both. Despite my comment above about one of the notes smelling a little sweet on my skin it does have a very traditional masculine scent to it (which I like - what can I say Luna - I am part of that XY crowd lol) just like Lionheart and LP #9. Plus MVP is a solid pheromone mix. This one continues to be a winner with the Mrs. who is pretty particular about the scents I wear. If you want another traditional masculine scent but want to go in a different direction than this and Lionheart (more green/fern/grass) or LP#9 (citrus/musk) then check out Ambsucade. It goes more in the patchouli/musk/sandalwood/sage direction and it has the added benefit of the Hunter Trapper pheromone mix.
