I wore Fang for two days and really liked it. I moved on to Sorcerer today. I really like this scent also. Plus the SS4M is doing its thing. I had three women I don't know getting talkative and personal with me. One, a cute redhead (the receptionist), even chased me down as I was leaving to say goodbye. I was thinking "Girl, I could be your dad, but go ahead, my ego can always use a little affirmation." Of course she was probably thinking "He reminds me so much of my grandfather. Maybe he needs help with the door too." :lol:

I got my order yesterday - really enjoying Fang!

This is another winner. This is a very masculine, very smooth cologne that can be worn day or night. I think I tend to amp vanilla a little and so the first thing that I can smell with this is the vanilla and the tonka right behind it. But this is not a loud or overly foody vanilla on me - it is a smooth vanilla that has some depth to it, I think due to the tonka right behind it. While it is still wet, the rest of the scents (woods, vetiver, walnut & earth) form a smooth background - so smooth I cannot pick out one note from the other. Once this dries down, the smooth background of the woods, etc. become the primary scent with just a hint of the vanilla and tonka. It is not a "heavy" scent however - just a deep, smooth scent. It is however, heavy enough I would not think of it as a daytime summer scent here where it is really warm although it might work at night. This scent seems to stay close to my body - I could wear quite a bit of it without becoming the proverbial "cologne" guy. This scent was as close to love at first smell as you can get.

Exactly - you are helping pay for the move and making it easier for them to move all at the same time!

Besides, everything you order is something they don't have to move haha!

I got my notice yesterday. @Tyvey: We will organize a rescue party.

She does not detest them. She wears very light florals from time to time and will wear some if we go out. I have mentioned it before but there are a lot of factors in that. Part of it is she works in a field where she is around a lot of people and heavy perfume scent would not be appropriate. But the main factor is that perfumes are a very low priority for her. She thinks I am wasting my time and money even playing with it, much less writing about it on this board. It is actually one of those little points of irritation in our marriage for her. She would take the shovel over perfume but a massage would be better.

Welcome to the forum. Like Halo said - i thought you were going to say you were in your 60s or something haha. I cannot give you scent specific advice as my wife is not a perfume kinda person. If she were, I would love to have her experiment with scents and pheromones. But you have gotten a lot of great advice here from the ladies. Exactly. I am not a foodie like Dolly's guy. I prefer deeper scents myself on women. But right now you ought to find scents YOU like. When you find a guy then you can experiment on him. Two great points. The frist scent I really really liked here was one Mara had to talk me into trying. It is sold out now, but between the name, "Boddice Ripper", and the fact it had violet in it, I thought "No way". But Mara assured me it was a deep masculine violet that blended in and she was right. it was one I would recommend to guys until it sold out. And the skin chemistry thing is so true given the way these scents are hand made without the chemical "fixers" commercial scents have to make sure they smell the same on everyone time after time, year after year. Different skin chemistries will bring out different componenets of the scent even at different times. And this is something else interesting - because there are no "fixers" the scents will morph on your skin. The way a scent smells when you first put it on will probably not be the way it smells 3 hours in. And that is really kinda neat. Oh yeah. It was the pheromones that brought me here, and the great scents and friends/conversations that have kept me. But I wear phermones just about every day. I am pretty much loaded up on pheromones lol.
