OMG, I had a series of these dreams. Talked about it here. Might have been before your time though.

I've been fiending for pumpkin!! I'm almost scared to smell the Banoffee Coffee though. If Cops and Robbers drove me to get a donut, there's no telling what this one will do. I've been known to eat banoffee til I was sick!!!!!!!!!!!

Annnnnnnnd there goes my productivity for the day.

This made me giggle. I had tucked this sample away and pretty much forgot about it, but I revisited. Mmmm mmmm good! At first I got an intense pastry smell. So much so that I went and got a raspberry scone, Weight Watchers be damned! Then a sweet coffee scent emerged for an hour or so. Now I'm getting a little vanilla amber smell. those two like to linger on me, so hopefully that's where it'll sit for the rest of the day. Someone earlier said it was like Alumette without the smokiness. That's dead on what it is. I love it. I did accidentally get some on my hair. Let's hope that my hair continues to smell like donuts and doesn't morph into ass! ETA: The cops in my hair did morph into ass. It was faint when I left work but by 7p, I smelled like the bathroom in a club. Clarifying with apple cider vinegar did the trick!

I tried v.2 of this last night, strictly for the scent (will test out the pheros later.) I didn't get this the first go round because I don't typically do foody scents. That said, I was a little dismayed that it wasn't as caramelly on me as I had hoped. But the musk that's in here is melds so well with my skin chemistry that anything with it in it smells totally natural, like it's coming out of my pores. It doesn't even smell like perfume on me at all, not even when it goes powdery. (And I totally agree with whoever said that it's powdery but not powder.) It lasts forever and ever. I woke up this morning, and there was the caramel! It was heavenly! Glad I got a bottle of this unsniffed!! P.S. Today I wore this with Closer. Sweet mother of crap, it's good! Sexy, sexy caramel!

I didn't like this at first either. It was almost cough syrupy on me. After it aged a bit, it got better. (Or maybe like Tyveh said, I got used to LP fragrances.) Now I love, love, LOVE it. So don't give up. Try wearing it with other stuff too. Sometimes I'll wear it in my cleavage and wear something else on my wrists and neck. You get just the hint of LP deliciousness. Causes whiplash in everyone around you, male or female! I had this one combo, i think maybe it was with a commercial fragrance I own, that was the olfactory equivalent of grabbing a man by his tie and pulling him behind me!!

I had been wanting this one for awhile, but it just never made my "must buy" list. But then I saw there was only one left during the sale, so I snapped it up. I hadn't worn it yet because the guy I'm interested in is sort of an alpha male, and my gut tells me this isn't the phero signature I'm looking for around him. But today I had a meeting scheduled with a lady, very cocky and intimidating. But she's intimidating in a way that the people don't even realize they've been bullied. I wanted to go into the meeting with an air of "I am not entertaining any foolishness today," so I whipped out the Dangerous Games. Anyhoo…I'm so glad I got this. The scent is so me. Lots of creamy vanilla with raspberry. The leather doesn't smell like leather on me, just deep and familiar, and it balances the berry perfectly. It's definitely something that would cause someone to lean in for a closer smell. As for the Leather phero...i didn't get to test it against the lady because the meeting was cancelled. But I did notice I was slightly bitchy when I was in a kind of in a bad mood, but once I was feeling better, I just felt in control, confident, and womanly. Y'all must know by now that I'm an ardent fan of CB, and I do wear BI from time to time. They go well with my chemical signature and get me lots of friendly, not sexual (at least, not openly sexual) attention, because that's the air I project when I wear these in the workplace. (Unless I'm around the guy. ) It was no different with the leather—except it was a whole different set of people today!! The customer base we serve is fairly consistent, so I see the same people pretty much all the time. However, today, men who had never spoken to me before were coming across the commons and chatting me up! My favorite was this guy, maybe early 50s with a bandana around his head, leather vest and beard. Clearly one of the motorcycle dudes. (We have quite a few that come to us here. They like to hang out in the motorcycle parking area and compare bikes.) He got in my smell zone and this big grin came across his face and he just about talked my ear off. I couldn't help but remember someone's comment about Leather and think, "Mr. Big, burly tough guy likes the ladies who keep their whips hidden in their bag!" So yeah, love the scent, like the phero, definitely something I need to keep on hand for meetings. Will definitely pull this out again once I get that meeting rescheduled!

I tried hard to wait til new releases came out to order this one. Really, I did. But fear is a powerful motivator!! So deliciously sexy! Couldn't risk it.

LOL, total brain fart. I knew that! Thanks Tyvey! I got my sample of this. I have yet to encounter a scent I wouldn't wear to work. (Disclaimer: I haven't yet tried Phero Girl or Jouir de.) But for a moment, I thought this one was too much for me! Going on, I got honey and vanilla, no cops at all. It was very sweet and beautiful. Then about 15 minutes in, things took a turn for the sexy. It straight up smelled like funny business in the leather backseat of a car! Just pure sex and leather! It stayed that way for a good half hour, and I thought I was going to have to wash it off. Thankfully, the vanilla came back and the ginger took a more prominent role. It's sweetly spicy with a hint of leather in the background. It's actually very nice. I must own this.

Yeah, I've had great success with Pomme de Poison, but since it's just a hint of apple on me, I figured it was something else that really did the covering. Can't wait to hear how that works. I'm considering adding Candy Apple Cutie to my aresenal! I'm also impatient, and I, too, will choose sleep over most other things. (Including food, makeup, and/or hair. ) What I've started doing is applying my CB right before i walk out the door. It takes me 20 min minimum to get to work, so as I'm walking in, I apply my cover. Of course, I do drive alone in my car...this may not work if you carpool!

PS Tyvey. I wore my CB with Clinique Happy, and it worked. (Minus the fact that i smelled like a 13 year old.) I'm not sure what all is in it, but it's heavily citrus smelling on me, so citrus may be a good cover! I think because it's so sharp, the Est sharpness just blends right in.

I told myself I wasn't going to buy any fragrances since I went nuts with the clothes-buying this weekend. Then I saw Mara's post. I must have had some out of body experience, because when I came back to myself, I was checking out!! Can't wait to try this bad boy!!

Really sweet fruits, like strawberries, peaches, pears. My Ed Hardy covers it perfectly with no trace of cops, no est. Mamelons de Cherise covered it for about 95% of the day, but right before it was time to go home, the est said hello again. I wish I could comment on citrus, but anything I wore with citrus also had some stronger notes like sandalwood or musks or strong florals that might have done the heavy duty. I think I have some Clinique Happy somewhere. I might do an experiment to see how that works. ETA: Looked up the notes in Ed Hardy: "Tropical Mango, Wild Strawberries and Ruby Red Grapefruit vintage floralcy with a Rock'n Roll Edge brings a dark eeriness including Black Freesia. This contrast of floralcy merges into a background of Hot Skin and Warm Soulful Amber."

I wear a lot of CB too, and fruit does the trick. Like a charm!!! Florals work for me too, in that they take the sharpness away but you can still smell it. If that makes any sense. (But you know what? I kinda like the smell!)

I came upon this one on the trading board. From all the reviews, I was expecting this to smell like this party we stumbled on one time in college. Let me just say there were black lights everywhere...and it was 2002. Anyhoo, in the bottle i smelled fir and I think the ylang ylang. When i put it on, I got a lot of the fizz and fir. A very interesting scent. Almost masculine on me but not quite. After about ten minutes, the fir settles down and something almost sweet comes out. Everything else plays nicely in the background. I get little whiffs like Mmmm, vanilla. Mmmm, musk. Mmmm, pot. But I will say I probably couldn't idenntify it if I didn't know it was there. I feel like people who smelled it on me would just be like, "Mmmm, I know that smell..." but would never quite figure out what it was. I like this., but not one of my faves. Very playful scent though!

Do not underestimate the power of Cougar in the workplace. Great story, Tyvey! It was mine too, and I don't give it as much loving as it deserves!

I've actually had great work results with Cougar Potion, and I work mostly with women. While I do love OW and the results I had with it, the vibe it gave was almost too social (if that makes any sense) for an interview. People here seem to love SWS, though. It might be worth a try. I don't know how much time you have before the interview, but you might try getting samples of the perfumes enhanced with the pheros you're looking at. That way you can get a feeling of how they work for you before you buy a big bottle of the unscented. Good luck!!

In the past I've avoided LAM Sandalwood and Resins because a combo like that will turn manly on me in a heartbeat. I got a sniffie of this with my last order, let me tell you, I like it!!! All of the sandalwoody goodness with none of the manliness! Must be the amber in that helps out!

I had a funny Cougar reaction this morning. I overslept and had to be ready to leave my house 5 minutes after I got out of bed, so you can imagine how that looked. So I doused myself with Cougar and said, "So be it." I get to work and get in the elevator and immediately move to the back since I'm usually one of the last people to get off. i was rummaging around my purse for my office keys. I found them and looked up. There were two men and a woman in the elevator with me, and they were all looking at me expectantly like they were waiting on me to say something. I actually jumped, I was so taken aback. Then the lady says, "What a beautiful blouse you have on!" The one fellow nodded in agreement, and the other said, "Yes, lovely color." My "blouse" was nothing but a plain old Old Navy tshirt. T-shirt! And there was a small but very visible coffee stain I got from hitting a pothole in the parking lot!! (Thank God for Tide pens.) I've been chuckling all morning!!

I loved this at every stage. The lime is very bright on me at first, almost to the point of overwhelming. (But I love lime, so I didn't mind.) Then as it dried, everything melded nicely with just the faintest hint of coconut, not suntan lotiony at all. I like this one a lot!!

Boy Howdy! I am glad I got this one. I can't say anything that the others haven't already said. When I first got it on, it was all cherries, but it quickly mellowed, and the other fruit came out. The lemon verbana adds just the right amount of tartness to balance the sweet. After it completely dried, everything melded into a light sultry scent. I've said before, white musk works for me, and with this scent, it makes it seem almost like it's coming out of my pores!! Mmmmmmm!! I think I'm about to die of pleasure!
