Thank you dear. Different pheros illicit different reactions from different individuals. I think part of the motivation behind my neophyte blends is I've been trying to please everyone on the same day....as one particular blend does not work on all. In trying to please all the 'peeps' at the same time, I'm wreaking havoc, lol. It's all good, I'm being more sound-minded of late...can't please all of the people all of the time. So true.

Huh… Spoiler alert, I don’t have the guy. I wore Gotcha to work and sure enough shyguy was mesmerized. He was waiting for me to leave that day and proceeded to follow me out the door. I was very excited because I just knew this was the moment when he was going to make his move! Well, wouldn’t you know it, I was called back into the office and had to retrace my steps. I nearly bumped into him as he had been following behind me that closely…he blushed and mumbled a ‘see ya' later.’ I was disappointed but figured we’d have the opportunity for a do over. Gotcha, round 2, scene 2: Later that week I decided to add LAM to the mix. Ok – if dude could have done cartwheels to get to me he would have. LAM is some serious mojo! All day, he hovered around me like a moth to a flame. We work in a fast-paced environment so alone time is hit or miss. We didn’t get any solitude that day. Work was nuts and I also had to spend a fair amount of time deflecting casualties from wearing Gotcha and LAM to work As shyguy is getting more drawn to me I’m noticing something weird. A girlfriend who works with us seems to be eyeing our interaction and isn’t feelin’ it one bit. Long story short dolls, this looks to be a love triangle. I dunno what transpired (or is transpiring) between her and shyguy but she’s not happy I’m in the picture. On one hand I feel bad but on the other I’m ticked off. I told her I was crushing on the guy early on and divulged a lot. All she had to do was tell me she was interested or is / was involved with him and I would have backed off. I don’t know what hand she’s playing. I’ve been going on and on spilling the tea…she should have said something. I’ve since clammed up of course and you best believe “She gets no mo’ info from me.” We now speak in general terms and I think we’re relegating to acquaintances. I can’t believe how this is going down and I’m kicking myself in the tush for being blind to what was under my nose. Present day shyguy has found a way to be ‘in my space’ every day since being Gotcha!’d. He’s been watching me and she’s been watching him watch me. And I’m watching her watch him. Oy vey. Totally not worth it. What’s currently driving me to see this thru is the pissed off-ed-ness I’m harboring towards the situation as a whole. I feel hurt, betrayed and saddened. I want to get to the bottom of it. Thanks to LP’s indispensable blends I’m sure all will come to light. Eventually.

Before layering LP Black would you allow a drydown period with OCCO pink? Just wondering because the OCCOs are already scented...

I received a bottle of the April 2014 brew of Flying Potion two days ago and took it for a test run today. My nose in training was able to pick out two notes – ylang ylang and cinnamon, both of which I love. Flying Potion proved to be a spicy, bright cheery scent! It’s not enduring on my chemistry which is regretful but I was riding high while it lasted. My spirits were buoyed and I had a spring in my step despite lack of sleep the previous night. I’d buy this blend again – love the pairing with Levitation Potion! Testing it was interesting as results weren't what I thought they'd be. The reactions were stronger than I predicted. Based on personal experience, I’d have to classify it as a borderline super sexy social. On my spectrum it lands in between Cougar and SS4W. Out and about, women treated me nice enough, no cattiness. And men? Well, lol, they were aware of the aura exuding from the potion. You’re welcome gentlemen, xo. Send that thank you card to LPMP please and thank you. Surprisingly I can’t wear Flying Potion to work. Too much unwanted attention I think. There were double takes, a few DIHLs, one guy had a 2 minute conversation with me with zero eye contact. Totally out of character for him. Two other guys ran for the hills. Ummm, lol who knew. I thought it was a safe bet being there were no cops but not the case. -I so wish I could spend a day in a guy’s head to better understand their thought process. Cougar is a sound choice so you can't go wrong! I'll keep my eye out for Audacious in the trades. It's a great recommendation from Stacy -sounds like it's up your alley . Regarding the T-shirt, hope you find it and by all means WEAR IT if you do

Hi doll -- I read about your OD episodes in the journal thread!!! Sorry you had to go through that and THANK YOU for putting it out there as a cautionary tale Well, the saving grace in all this is I'm a lightweight. On average, I can only tolerate about two 1-2" strips of UNs per day. If in spray form, 2-3 spritzes. One of my favorite combos has been Cougar, Pop Potion or Open Windows and Lucky Dog. I only apply in the mornings to different parts of my body and do not touch up at all throughout the day. Now that I've had this intervention I'll be ever so careful to not mess with anything remotely close to being a complex blend! Ummmmm, I made the mistake once of wearing Popularity Potion and Open Windows along with Cougar. No bad reactions from people but I waded thru a heavy phero cloud all day! Open Windows is particularly strong with my chemistry. I did find out after the fact by reading threads that I shouldn't have worn PP and OW <yikes!>. Won't ever go there again . Ok, guess I was concerned with altering formulas of say a sexy social (Cougar) and a straight social (OW or PP) when worn at the same time. From the sound of things it might be considered wasteful...but, since those two aren't incongruent I thought it would be ok ("Ok" said in tiny pipsqueak voice lol)...

Thanks so much for your valuable input everybody ! I love the sound practice outlined in the original thread. Coupled with your personal experience and recommendation, I will no longer meander down the wrong path I agree Irish Eyes -- the large selection of blends here at LP is a great advantage! I don't have the nose yet to layer well but remain hopeful I'll be able to join y'all soon. Several threads have warned against mixing complex blends and I'm mindful for sure. Not only is it wasteful but it will surely lead to disappointment as it can't possibly illicit favorable responses . OCCOs seem to be a staple when layering. I have to get some and also be a bit more courageous in experimenting with EoW. Stacy~the scenarios you outlined are what I was thinking...like Dolly's TH + TC and so forth. Chemistry is definitely tricky and I'm not scientifically inclined so that right there could be disastrous. I'm bad in that I haven't been keeping track of what I've been using and responses from people. Its only been about seven weeks since I started using pheros so It's not too late...will do like you and look to the journals of the experienced divas !!! Also, have to build up a stash of essentials like DHEAS, OCCOS and single molecules. I was playing it safe by ordering phero-enhanced fragrances and UNs. Thanks as always for the 'wise' words Olderbutwiser. I forgot about the coffee grounds - ding, ding ding! I have to do that when testing what works best in layering. Its been a struggle drinking a lot of water altho I looooove it. Each day is an opportunity to do better so there's always hope . I use witch hazel, alcohol, hunter's soap or Dawn dishwashing detergent to remove the pheros. They all work like a charm QG - LPMP's products are well above industry average. Even at my (very) inexperienced stage I could see there was no need to mess with the best. I was jumping the gun in trying to replicate veteran phero users -- went about it the wrong way. I needed this thread. Thanks so much for the male perspective, it's a great contribution!

Hmmmm, sorry to hear that dear. Use too much as in one application that particular day -- or using it too many days in a row? I hear ya' regarding friendliness being an effort at times. That's the thing about these pheros huh? They are very powerful so like you said, we really have to temper use with our daily moods and those ever so present hormones. Ugh, I'm sympathetic. I got hammered this month...

I love Lucky Dog! When I first apply it, reminds me of a York Peppermint Pattie. I have to look at the ingredients to see if there's chocolate, mint or any cousins listed.
