  1. I took me long to review this, because I wasn't sure what to make of it. It is an audacious scent. It has a sweetness that's "in your face", which I liked, and a rather boozy aspect that I found a little irritating. Then I layered it with Sugared Egyptian Musk. The boozy edge was gone, and I was left with a rich, lovely, creamy sweet peach-based scent that I am glad to wear most days. What's more, I like Audacious as a phero. I like the self-effects I get from this. It's bright, lively, positive and open, and with that layered peach I really feel a boost of confidence being the best-smelling girl in the room. So yeah, now it works. I'm glad to have a sample - not sure about an FB though - and even more glad to have been able to make it work for me.
  2. Hope it all turns out for the best, CK. Love and light coming your way.
  3. Ay, paleta de coco.... now I *really* need a bottle. Or at least a sample.
  4. Starts out sweet and green, maybe a little soapy, and dries down to the chocolate orchis in "and I feel fine". Interesting. Not sure how it would fare on a man.
  5. If you're doing anything latin or funky, especially Latin, LFN hands down. Pair it up with a sultry fragrance and BOOM. It's sorcery. I've also had good experience with Dom Noire when I was going to dance after a long, tiring day. It seems to chase the fatigue away. The only caveat is go light on it because it's strongly "alpha". I'm a big fan of Dance of Passion which contained COPS &EST. Not sure about the ratios, but it's sensual as f*ck and guarantees a hot dance if you find the right partner. If you can snag a bottle on the trade or sale section, go for it.
  6. Wore this again today after a long while. I kind of forgot how cool this blend is, both scent and phero. I really like how the sugary sweet vanilla is tempered by a tangy "boy smell" of sandalwood, sharpness with a masculine smooth amber for balance. I totally get this, and it would smell really good on a guy too. Loving this.
  7. This, people, is teally frustrating. I see my wish list getting longer, and longer.. and longer....
  8. Well, yeah Equinox, I guess it depends on the style you're dancing... salsa is naturally more sensual than, say waltz foxtrot or even lindy hop.. so LFN with its cops content (I'm not sure just how cop-heavy it is, btw.) will feel more 'at home' with salsa, I guess. LFN is really divalicious when it's applied on funk or latin music events. Perhaps other more platonic partnered styles would do better by sticking to LFM. Still worth a try...
  9. Ohh, LFM is great for dancing! For me, LFN as a salsa dancer is amazing, you should try that too!
  10. I wore it solo last night as a cover for LFN to a Prince tribute show, and it's really, really concentrated. It takes only 4-5 swipes from the tiny free sample vial to really waft. Which it did. I got an unsolicited compliment from a female musician as we hugged our hellos, and she said "what a great smell!". I like the honey here, although I get smut - and plenty of it - on my skin. Definitely a night time thing, I get some sweet, some powdery, a liitle floral, with the deep smutty stuff underneath. The distant dry down (like, 10-11 hours later) is pure smut, when I press my nose to my wrist. I think it could be layered with lots of interesting things to bring out different aspects of it. I think layering it with sandalwood would be great, though I've yet to try it. Has anyone tried this combination? I'll keep the vibe going this morning by wearing a honey based scent to work. Phero Girl or something.
  11. To my nose, this shares a smoky-sultry floral vibe with Totem: Tiger, which I ADORE! It may be just as lovely on a man, although it's womanly on me. Not as sweet as Tiger. Alright, I'll need a full bottle. ETA: After a few hours on my husband, Dianthus is sexay, but still smells better on me. So I'll keep it to myself, and I'll try layering it w. LFN for salsa tonight. Def. A full bottle in the future.
  12. How about La Femme Mystere? It's a great confidence booster. 'Sensual Harmony' with LFM could be great. It works for me
  13. I layered this with Fascination Potion twice this week for salsa dancing. These two enhance one another in a very interesting way. They both have a bit of animalic qualities, with the musk, and both have a powdered sugar base. The Potion sweetens Summer Dance's musky base up, the florals in both rhyme beautifully. I felt very sensual and feminine, and the beautiful sexy guys I dance with were definitely drawn in for the scent, and possibly the cops from FP. Summer Dance makes me want to wear lipstick, make sure my toenails are painted, and wear that little black crop-top. summery and light, and very sensual and playful at the same time.
  14. It is a really cheerful fragrance, and I totally get how it works with H&S. I get something fruity and banana-like, which may be the combination of passion-fruit and apricot. Then the mahogany comes in and grounds it. I don't get any noticeable spice. It's not really a "me" scent, I don't connect to fruity scents as much as other scent families. For working with H&S, I like LP Flutterby better on my skin... although each fragrance brings out a different aspect of the phero. Flutterby brings the softer side out, while Passionbee brings out a more cheerful side. I'll keep experimenting with it a little further, though, because it is an interesting perfume.
  15. Wore it today just because I felt like wearing it as a scent. Ha! I had the most weird hit from a customer. He made a pretty shameless pass at me, out of the blue: "You're very pretty, you know?" So he introduces himself as a blues guitarist, connected to some prominent local rock musicians... "remember that song where they said: 'Mo has a white guitar'? Well, I'm Mo from that song". "If you ever change your mind, come by to one of my shows, let's have a beer." He was enthralled, like it didn't matter that I said I'm married, he didn't even notice the ring on my finger... I was in my work clothes, zero makeup... Nothing to suggest any availability. "Oh, bring your husband, let's have a beer". Like... What? LOL....
  16. I wore this today for the first time. I do get lots of coconut-tinged vanilla. Then the cherry comes out a little in the form of something slighty almond-like. A hint of cocoa butter, and a bit of amber deepen the scent a bit. The ladies at work really liked it, and so did I. Fluffy, sweet and light. However, I wanted to add a little bit of depth and sophistication to it, because I felt something was missing. So later this evening, I layered it with Sugared Egyptian Musk. OH MY GOD YES!! That's *exactly* what it needed to go from lovely to AMAZING. The musk tempers the sweetness a little, and adds that depth and cleanliness. So feminine and beautiful, it reminds me of Summer Dance PE. The ladies at work went crazy for it. I'm going to wear this combination until my sample runs out. Cherry D is a lovely scent all on it's own, but that Egyptian Musk shoots it to the stratosphere.
  17. I usually steer clear of musk perfumes. The commercial ones really turn me off, and always have. The magical thing about LPMP is that I can wear musk scents. This one is plush, deep and rich, with a bit of sweetness. It smells so grown-up, like a rich older woman with money. It reminds me of Sand Box, which is a really good thing. I still prefer SB to this, but I'm glad I got a sample.
  18. Well, I like this after the initial - rather sharp - blast of leather fades. What it turns out to be is a sweet sugary musk honey. I'm not sure where the pear or ginger fit in. Quite nice all in all, a bit of smut at first stages of dry- down. Not my first favorite from the Valentines collection, but I'm glad I got a sample. Men responded to this tonight as I went dancing. They did want to get closer.
  19. Got a really cool hit from a customer a couple of days ago. I was wearing this because it really wakes me up... and I was really tired after an evening shift the night before. So the man, looks like he's in his 50's, after I helped him pick a few products, thanked me and - completely unsolicited - said: "I like ladies woth short hair. You are good-looking." Out of nowhere. I thanked him and he left, but he never did this before. Funny.
  20. Billi, I found that it turns more powdery on me depending on my cycle. I'd try it several times on different days of the month to see how it works w. your chemistry.
  21. Billi watch it. Really, use caution with this stuff because pheros are strong, and so is alcohol. Beyond that, many feel that they need to drink less because they feel drunk sooner when pheros are involved. I always do my best to assess when do I need to take a step back and not get that extra drink, or step back a little if someone is leaning a tad too close, or seems a little *too* interested, if you know what I mean... I try to sense people's body language and see whether I'm in a safe spot among them. I've only been using LPMP for a year and a half, which isn't long, but I have witnessed the impact pheros have on people... especially when alcohol or weed are involved. Please read some of the materials others have posted on the forum regarding caution with sexual phero blends.
  22. It reminds me of a body lotion my mom used to have when I was a kid. Clean and a bit soapy, indeed it is very feminine. Though I must confess... I'm used to associate LFN with much warmer-smelling scents, spicy or floriental...this clean aquatic floral seems too cool a smell for a sultry blend like LFN. I don't want to smell like my mom, not that there's anything wrong with her smell but it makes me freak out... because I feel like she's here beside me when she's miles away. It's like having an olfactory ghost next to you, if that makes sense... I have a feeling LFM would have worked better with this cool, confident blend. I'm sticking to warmer scents for the time being.
  23. Yeah, that. At the store I work in, with my male colleagues. At shows where my musician friends perform. At salsa nights. Witch craft.
