That’s why I’ve come to believe trial vials, NR sampler sets (and ittys) are the way to go. It took me a while to get on board with the sampler sets, but it really is a great way to try things I’d never have considered, and to confirm if I really do like how a fragrance wears on me. Of course there is not always that option if a fragrance has been around for a while. Even this past month, I knew that none of the new releases were prime candidates for me to want a full bottle of, but no regrets getting the sampler. Of the pherotine releases in February, I went out on a limb and got two full bottles in addition to the sampler. One turned out to be a major love, (Wild Cherry) the other, (Buttercream Peach) I will probably never wear. BUT, in the sampler set was a huge huge HUGE hit for me (Bad Girl). That was what made me see that the sets are one of the best investments in exploring LPMP. I have no idea why Luna’s quote is showing up twice in my post, but I’m using my phone, and can’t see how to x it out.

I love this!!! And, not just for the fragrance, because although yummy, it is delicate and soft. The star of the show is how it transforms my skin into silky wonderfulness. You know how skin feels after exfoliating? This soap creates that same feel, (no scrubbing required!) I just looked, and there are three more listed in inventory, so you guys better grab one while you can, because I'm thinking this is the perfect choice to round out my next order

Hi Melisse, and welcome I caught some of your posts on the FB forum, but did not realize you were new to here as well.

I realize this thread is almost 9 years old, but, the topic came up recently with a friend of mine who has 7 kids ranging from ages 3 to 20. We were discussing behavior triggers. Use of pheromones around kids has not been particularly relevant to me personally, as mine are all adults, and I (sadly) have no grands. I really don’t wear pheromones very often anyway. Copulins, yes (daily,) and when I use pheros they are almost always the sexy time type- for sexy times DHEAS I also wear, but am not sure these fit the precise criteria for being pheromones (?) Is there more up to date research on this, other than articles sited here in this thread?

I was extremely fortunate to snag a bottle of this! I like it on its own, and would categorize it as a seriously sexy nighttime scent. It seems the majority of the dark resinous type scents have patchouli in it, but Ruthvah does not, so another win for me, as patchouli is rarely, if ever my friend. EDITED almost four years later…. I don’t know if Mara has considered rebrewing this. I wear it occasionally, and although I can see why it is compared to Potion Bastet, on me it does not wear all that similarly. I’ve not worn Cat’s Eye, nor Jouir De, so I cannot make any sort of comparison to them. When first applied, I’m not crazy about Ruthvah. It’s “okay”. It wears a little bit soapy on me in the beginning. After a few hours it transforms somehow, into a sweet perfume, maybe in the oriental category? It becomes very complex and I love it when it reaches this stage. It goes from okay to amazing! Do I reach for it all that often? No, not really, but when I do, I always tell myself I need to wear it more frequently. It’s sophisticated and a very very sexy (in the sense of raw sex) type scent. Potion Bastet I wear quite a bit more. Maybe not weekly, but it’s not stored in the back of my perfume drawer, it stays in regular rotation.

Me too it’s my favorite of the April LEs. I knew I was not a good candidate for “spring” scents. I adore real flowers, but have never been a floral fragrance lover. The tearose reads very true on me. When I wore it to bed, I dreamed about roses (really!) and woke thinking it smelled like there was a vase of them at my bedside. Sadly no, though. To me, this is a warm summer day or evening kind of scent though. Maybe it’s the warm earthy vibe that is present as an undercurrent. It is sun and specifically tea type roses, and it is elegant, grownup, and not particularly sweet. I’ll most likely eventually use up the trial vial, but, like I prefaced this post, not a floral perfume chick.

Kayla, I get a strong maple syrup too! I’m glad it’s not just me. Not all caramel does this, but it happens.

It may depend on the color, I don't know. At first I hung it to dry, but that ship sailed pretty fast. I now toss it in the dryer. It originally touched my toes, it is now still to bottom of my ankles - below the ankle bone, but doesn't touch my feet. I LOVE it! It is the velour type terry. Some reviewers remarked it ran small, others said it was because of the inset type sleeve instead of raglan. I have it in large, but could probably wear it in small or medium. don't know because its the only one I've had, although it is tempting to get another (mine was a gift) For size reference, I'm 5'6" and wear a US size 4 mostly, but sometimes a 6. To keep on topic, I got another delivery yesterday. and even though I was happy it arrived, I knew it was 'just' backup bottles for my emergency stash and actually let the box set unopened for a few hours because I was working in my garden. First time I've not torn into one asap!

It interested me because so many of the resinous dark musky scents tend to have patchouli in the mix, and patchouli oftentimes - most of the time - is not my friend! I can do resin, I can do musk, I can even do woodsmoke and sap, but patch, not so much.

Kayla, I like it, but I would not be crushed beyond all words if you want it. I emailed John with invoice request to let him know you should have first dibs if you're still interested. He said he'd wait a bit to see if you were going to get it. (I do smell the sap note, but it is not particularly prominent imo)

I got my notice Saturday, but they arrived todayyyyyy! I've sniffed everything, but am going to let them all sit a couple of days before trying. I'm generally not a 'springy flora' scent type of person, but I just had to get the sampler, and the itty sets, if for no reason other than to continue to educate my nose!

I have a question about the overall amount of copulins in this. I'm really loving the virgin version, but I do have a bottle enhanced with Sexology too. Is converting this to a spray okay, or better to keep as a roll-on?

And, as amazing as the human babies are on the labels, honestly, that puppy has my heart! Yes, exactly! Only three photos uploaded from my computer used up my available allotted space. But photos I copied from a photo sharing site, where I had personal photos stored did not impact it at all.

With my website, once I got the color scheme figured out, I've not dared to touch it! It was hard to figure out, and its been so long now! Sometimes I tweak text colors or something, but that skin is on for life lol. I agree. Hire someone. You've got more important things to do, like creating magic and creating punch for tomorrow,,,,
