  1. @Eastwood22 and @halo0073 see... you guys are both genuinely sweet. You do know" me, and thank you. As you both said, whether or not some of those characteristics are part my own personality or aura, whatever, it is notable that it amplifies what comes naturally to me, I guess. I've stated so many times previously on this forum that people, whether they be strangers or not do tend to treat me well, so for me to notice a marked difference when using PP speaks to the effectiveness of it, at least for me. We talk about a pheromone blend or fragrance being congruent with who we are, and this is a good example of congruence, I guess. These two examples, and especially the other one I gave on the FB group, are proof enough to me that even though I generally experience very very little in the way of selfies; that pheromones in the exacting formulas offered by LPMP produce real, tangible effect on others we come into contact with. I've often wondered if I (or anyone) walked into the shop when Mara was there, if she would instinctively know what pheromones would be effective for us, and what we would enjoy wearing for fragrance. I think she is that good. I really do.

    UNE

Layering UNE with NoCo White continues to be my standard go to everyday scent. During my trip I brought them (and their OCCO and Pherogirl counterparts) and a bottle of virgin Wild Cherry. I wore them either alone, or together, some days swiping the WC on areas I didn't have UNE on. All of these never fail me. Another thing about Mara's fragrances, is it is almost like I take her along with me! It is a unique quality that she instills into her fragrances, that ability to make them so personal to where even though most of the ones I mentioned are part of the permanent lineup (although Wild Cherry was a Limited Edition and sold out) I still feel like they were created just for me. There will never be another company like LPMP. We are all so fortunate to have landed here!
  3. I left for vacation without meaning to have this riding along in my purse. But, it was there, and I wore it a couple of time. On the Facebook group I'd posted about an earlier experience with it, but thought you guys would enjoy "sharing" my latest foray . First time was after about 3 days of no "true" running hot water shower (camping) I was not stinky or anything close, but my hair was a fright! Not quite to the degree of SNL's .Roseanne Roseannadanna, but some very definite frizz going on after rain, humidity and pretty much ignoring any care of it. Almost zero makeup, AND I was at the register buying laxative (probably too much information, but I needed to give a proper "setting" for the reaction of my checkout person!) She GUSHED how elegant I looked, how sophisticated I was (really? jeans and t-shirt with bleach spots?) ... how she wished she could be more like me. This from a really cute girl! She went on and on, too, not just a short little mention. Then yesterday, I was returning the rental camper van up in the NYC area. 45 degree cold blowing sideways wind and rain - on Mother's Day! - Me, in black turtleneck and leather jacket, but hair soaking wet, teeth chattering, waiting for my Lyft driver (my daughter was at the hotel with the dog, and I had to get back there so SHE could board her plane home so she could be back in the office today) My driver confided that he thought I looked like a movie star. Not just how I looked, but how I carried myself and the manner in which I spoke. Now, I've already described how I looked - how I carried myself was shivering lol, and I didn't say much of anything other than to thank, him for being able to find me, as it was a location that causes GPS to go haywire. If you've not tried POP put it on you list. You just never know until you try it. You really don't!
  4. Just email John at LPMP and let him know. No need to worry about filing a claim. Stuff usually turns up (eventually).it’s probably sitting on a counter at the Portland office or something. For me the black hole had been the Gaithersburg distribution center. Thankfully my orders from LPMP tend to go through the Washington DC sort facility instead.
  5. I do smell the civet, but it's not overpowering. It kind of reminds me of vintage Tabu without the sweetness that Tabu has.
  6. That is totally cool! Unexpected, and perhaps bit weird, yet a good thing. I recently received loads of compliments on my "style" when I was anything but stylish, or chic, hot looking,, or anything, and I was wearing Popularity Potion! BTW we play rummy I grew up playing an long variant of progressive rummy, like it was a thing we regularly did with my grandparents from the time I was old enough to count. The BF and I play now. I think my grown kids secretly are amused to see us oldsters playing cards hah!
  7. I'm posting here about the Lemon Buttercream , because it doesn't have its own thread (for the skyclad buttersilk version) and its sold out again, so it seems silly to create its own thread... but then the Honeyed Vanilla Caramel may be sold out too --- regardless, I'm posting here Back when I was a child, people put butter on skin burns. But then the thinking changed for how to treat it, butter was bad. Cold water and aloe were what was best. Late last night I was pouring boiling water from the kettle into a container, lost control of the kettle. and the water that was at a rolling boil poured all over my hand, and went under my rings. It covered the underside and between my fingers. We keep an aloe plant on shelf over the sink, and I immediately broke a piece off after running my hand under cold tap water. But, blisters still looked like they were in process of forming. Once I was in bed, the burn was keeping me awake. I looked over at the bedside table, and there sat the Skyclad Buttersilk. ... I slathered my hand in it. (then the other hand. and my forearms. and my elbows, because it smells so good that it's hard to stop) and it took away the pain. I know it may sound like this is anecdotal, but I know how I felt, it it helped tremendously. This morning I woke to some red areas but no blisters. and not much sensitivity other than on the palm at the thumb pad where the brunt of the water made contact first. This stuff is truly amazing. A jar Honeyed Vanilla Caramel is part of my latest order, but I don't even have my shipping notice yet, so have not tried this scent yet.
  8. I grabbed a skyclad buttersilk, a full size of Potion Bastet, a few of the trial vials... I'm very excited to see what Special Delivery smells like, and also ordered trials of Prisma, Mistress Mine, Divine Magick,. I got Crema Delizia too, but can't remember if it was full size or trial. Also a few mens trials, and a pherotine in Lumina.
  9. My favorites are due equally the colors and the art style. Autumn, Subir, Prisma, and Godess of the Blue Moon. I probably need Divine Magick for the phero, if the notes are ones that work for me. I also most definitely will have to try Crema Delizia and Special Delivery. Lacia (because of the Cougar) is calling me, and that label for Potion Bastet drew me in. After I searched the archives (Thank you @luna65 for the incredible work you did creating this for us) I figure PB is probably on my list too! And, I'm curious about Medium and Papal Purple. @Hildegerd that is so cool to have Lynyrd as a friend! @Potion Master I hope you're on the mend!
  10. Simply gorgeous artwork! What talent!!! I'm looking forward to reading the notes, especially for Crema Deliza.
  11. Happy Belated New Years! I hope everyone has recovered from hangovers (and coughs! Fang). Mara, we are big on board games here. Used to have regular game night parties! No D&D recently though. The past few months and years its been Evolution, Kingsburg, Catan and Ticket to Ride. This year I made no resolutions, and I'm quite comfortable with that. 😎
  12. Wonderful! The type font is very readable for the individual products, and descriptions, and the menu and page headers has that beautiful font that is so evocative of LPMP, but can be difficult to read if it is the main text style. LOVE the floral graphic behind the logo, LOVE the lettering of the logo. AND the color scheme... AND the ability to create a wishlist. Best of all... the search option. YAY!!!
  13. I have this in the sugared vanilla and honey scent, and also got the matching noco version. I like it, but it is not at all a replacement for layering occo white with pherogirl, and noco white with une.
  14. ? Now I have to dig my trial vial out to sniff it again! So interesting to see how people interpret scents.
  15. I'd been hoarding my lone remaining jar of the skyclad buttersilk. Today I retrieved it from the back of the drawer where I was keeping it safe, and took it along with me for the manicurist to use with my mani-pedi. This body butter is still so amazing! In fact, it is more amazing now that it has had time to age. But, now that the jar has been opened, I'll have to use it up, and that makes me sad, as I want to have this on hand for always. My manicurist was loving it too. When she first opened it, she said "cookies!!"

    Moondust Cocoa

I had such high hopes, and when I first apply it, it is all chocolate cocoa goodness. As in amazing, and I instantly wanted all of the bottles that LPMP had to offer.... But, my skin chemistry thought otherwise, The cocoa said so long, and split. The amber, that apparently doesn't show up for many who have reviewed it, decided this was its show, and sugar joined in. After a half hour, it was similar to Sugared Amber, and the cocoa was just a memory. I think I may have to get a scent locket for it, because it is so great in the bottle.

    Moondust Cocoa

I ordered a FB yesterday. Fingers crossed it works for me!

    Moondust Cocoa

@Kayla, @Eastwood22 and @luna65 Thanks! So it seems at least one bottle will need to be re-homed with me I am such a chocolate lover but am unlucky in that love when it comes to fragrance.

    Moondust Cocoa

See, this makes me want to try it! Chocolate goes too sweet on me very often. (...off to put in in my shopping cart!). Does anyone have have an opinion about the amber in it? Is in just in the background?

    EBIL-ish! 2018

This starts out smelling surprisingly reminiscent of vintage Tabu. Not the same as, but in the same vein. Sadly, each time I try this, it ends up with a soapy vibe after I’ve had it in for a while maybe it’s one of the musks used? I dunno, but I’m so disappointed. It has great staying power. Anyone who likes spicy vanilla musk type fragrances should definitely consider it. It is gorgeous, and I regret it is not going to work for me ?
  21. Thanks! I'll research more after I give it a whirl ?
