Wanderlust

Every Halloween I make a batch of figs dipped in white chocolate, then paint an unsweetened chocolate ghost face on each fig. Layered with Sugared Cocoa Butter and Sugared Vanilla Velvet, I smell like my Ghostly Figgies taste. Is that too weird? I think not. By itself, the figs go all warm and luscious. I don't get the green (sugar-calmed?), but I certainly get plump, warm, earthy pillows.

This is lovely, soft, and a little naughty.. Tink, what a great idea! I'll be rolling some into boots.

Warm, buttery, soft. I was afraid it might run to plastic, but this is the real deal. I layered it with Sugared Apricot and Sugared Leather. Wowzers! Took me to the summer mornings before my senior year of high school, riding in my boyfriend's leather seated convertible whilst having an apricot danish and a jug of milk from the local bakery. Amazing what scent memory can pull together.

Oh, now I'm nosy Gladys Kravitz! For shame. I hate gossip.

Oh, I love this! Wet, the strawberry and rhubarb come through ahead of everything else. After drying, the coffee and hay come forward as the fruit steps back a bit..still there, but faint. I grew up in the Midwestern US, surrounded by farms and grazing fields. This captures grandma's strawberry rhubarb tart and coffee after dinner during the summertime. I'm sitting at the harvest table outside, sun setting, the hay growing tall in the adjacent field, cows conversing beneath the massive maple tree in the pasture. I'm a kid again, and summers last forever!

Harmonious Self..every note, every gloriously perfect note is there, playing a piece of an Impressionistic musical masterpiece. Everything is dreamy and soft focus, but I don't feel fuzzy-headed. This is a sunny, spring weekend morning, windows open and scented breeze drifting through white linen curtains. I could stay here all day. Ahhhh

Happy dance!!! Oh, these are gorgeous! I just applied Harmonious Self an Hour ago, and it is exactly what I dreamed it would be every step of the way. Clean, fresh, grounding, ahhhh. Beautiful! I am so eager to try the rest. I have just ordered a Set B as a gift for a friend, but I think I may order a full bottle of Harmonious Self..Oooo, and Protection Potion for my own selfish self preservation.

Just received this bottle today. I am in heaven, clove heaven. This is absolutely clove, spicy and inviting, but softened (not sweetened, softened), and somehow, warmer. How is that even possible? There is no sharpness or numbness that one might typically associate with cloves. Instead, an intoxicating whiff of freshly ground and lightly sprinkled cloves. I know for a fact that I'll be layering this with Sugared Oranges and Sugared Vanilla Velvet, (if you don't hear from me any time soon, assume the best), but I'll happily wear this all by its loverly self. I think I may need to order a second bottle. This one is going to disappear quickly.

My love of cloves and allspice (I realise allspice is not in this scent), has piqued my interest in Esther. Would anyone who has reviewed this scent say that there is a definitive clove presence? If not, I think I'll be going for a PE. I guess I should have also asked if anyone has a scent they'd recommended that is primarily either clove or allspice? I have just ordered Sugared Cloves, and I have sampled Eve of Darkness.

Elizabeth, I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity to hang "Peaceful Home" in our own and in our son and daughter-in-law's first home. I'll be watching as the next Sigils come available. I think "Serenity" and "Mother Goddess" are going to be musts, and probably "Road Opener" as well. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to share and experience your work.

This was my choice for a scent today, as it fit the sunny blue sky from the window (as long as I ignore the snow and icicles). I am convinced that my spring garden has sprung to life! This is fantastic, and typically, I can't wear many florals. Outside my front door I have daffodils and hyacinths in several makes and models. In the spring, with the windows open, the entire house is scented, delicately, but gorgeously scented. Betrothal potion is that cherished first breath of spring. Ten minutes after the initial application all the initial 'my nose is snuff long a bouquet' calms into the sweetest spring day. I can't believe I am saying this, but I may be ordering a full bottle for spring. I'm over the moon about this one!

You are such good eggs! Since I already ordered last night, I can wait to add trial vials until my full bottle order. Is it p.c. to order from the Spell Potions, or is that considered cheeky? I have a few other items I'd be thrilled to try.

So, wait, I could add the trial vials of something to my Spell Potion order? Would it be easier if I waited until I do a full bottle order so you have a chance to catch your breath?

Picked up a sugared Cloves, and samples of Harmonious Self, Lucky Van Van Oil, Protection Potion , and Road Opener from the new Spell Potions. Took forever to choose, but I opted to stay away from water lily, freesia, and anything that sounded like a potential headache producer. When the reviews are in, I'll know a bit more about what I can add.
