SmeLling only from the bottle, i think this won't work on me. Most of july makes up for it though this was a super month for me.

To me iris is like violet's more sophisticated, extremely stylish cousin, I looooove violet, but iris for me just has the edge if it's good. The visual I got for my PE when thinking of the notes was the colours inside a mussel shell. The feel I get is silk crepe underwear in a muted hyacinth blue, creamy skin, no tan. The wearer has been at the beach, and an English beach at that, one where they can afford their own beach hut to laze in all day, then go home and change out of their sand flecked beach clothes into the aforementioned underwear and sit like that, watching the sun set before they eat something exquisite for dinner. Violet is like a slightly brash but really funny nineteen thirties cutie, very pretty, a little loud,but with a good heart, and great lipstick. Iris is a little more reserved, in more expensive clothes and not chewing bubble gum.

Maraaaaaaaa!!!! You outdid yourself with this, thank you SOOOOOO much. It's like you got in my head! Colour (impression, not oil) :definitely PINK! The first hit is intensely carnation-y but then it quickly rounds out to include the sweet, pink, turkish delight type rose, not an invasive rose but warm and smooth, the patchouli, being a white patchouli sits in the background just keeping it all together, and the marshmallows sweeten it but not to the point of overshadowing the carnation. The cops aren't really detectable. I wanted something I could wear that had cops, but definitely wouldn't worry about having to let dry, over applying etc. So this has 3 drops. What I thought of picking the notes... expensive pink silk-satin knickers (no polyester here thank you!), warm skin underneath, and then when I smelled it a pink and white belly dancing costume trimmed in gold came to mind, this is no grannyish floral, it's a little exotic, still fun, sexy and I think it works perfectly for me. It makes me think of Lady V's Panther, you may feel differently but in my head, I'd group them in the same family. It says to me; I'm a grown up woman, I know what I want, I'm no pushover, and I might give you a cheeky, flirty look across wherever I happen to be, because I love a bit of sexual tension. All in all, it's perfect. Thank you Mara!

Everyone needs the cops!! My inspiration here was Vivienne Westwood and her perfume Boudoir. She says that she wanted it to 'smell like a freshly washed fanny'. That's not bum for clarity haha. I loved her idea

Mara, may i please reserve one iris, two butterflies, and a pussycat? Also, have the cops become a perfume ingredient in mine? Or will people need to add in? It was part of my concept for butterfly if anyone wants one, the cops addition is 3 drops

Cumin likely is going to amp to high spice heaven, killing this for me so, I'm probably going to be freeing my bottle to live with a loving adoptive parent ! I do *have* to try it though!
