I'm wearing this one again today, and am REALLY enjoying it. It seems like each time I wear it, it is a little different. Today, it is still mostly fruit, BUT I'm getting more of the resin & patchouli. I think I could wear this one on a daily basis..... Hmmmmm, I may need to get another bottle....

Oh, so you are one who likes for your perfume to enter the room before you do? This is a big fragrance, and FABULOUSLY done......it is a nice scent.....but just a little too powerful for my personal tastes.....I think you will really love it.....

I never got to try Bastet......BUT this one, to me, has a feel of "antiquity" to it.....I think that you said you like strong perfumes.....this is strong. The floral is BIG when I first put it on.....BUT I will say that this is not a floral that turned funky on me, either. The floral stayed true. After drydown, the floral settles into the background (but is ever-present), and the spicy resin and muskiness comes through more. I liked it best after it dried down. I think you should try a sample.....you and I both like dark, deep, and resinous, but I think you also like the BIG BOLD scents.....this one might be right up your alley......

Yeah, my body chemistry does that too.....fruit shows big on me.....this one smells much better on me after shaking it.....it seems to be lasting longer this time than the first, also...... Big ups to you Danna.....I saw that you were the creator of this one!!! My darlin' loves the name, BTW.....

Ok, second try with this one......on the first application, it wore off really quick. Well, I just worked out, and took a shower, and removed all of the tested scents from today. I didn't know if this one was supposed to be shaken or not, so I shook it (I didn't the first time). This time, I get more of the resinous scent and what I think is the musk is peeking through.....still very fruity.....it ALMOST reminds me of Messalina (my personal fave) but without the floral notes. Ok, so I am liking this one more the second time around..... If any of you try this one, shake it......it may not look like it needs it, but it seems to make a difference..... I'll post later if I notice that it lasts longer this time around, too.....

Ok after a few hours, this one is rose, almost pure rose. Every now and then, I get a hint of some of the other notes, but not much. They have all faded except for that beautiful rose.

OK, so I tried this one also today, and while it was nice, it just wasn't my cup of tea.....BUT I know that there are a lot of you ladies who are going to SWOON over it. I get the spicy resins and a touch of musk in the background....In the forefront, it is heavy, thick, and rich, with a heavy floral note. BUT, not a modern floral.....this is definitely a floral of antiquity.....very thick, heady, and sweet. A bit too much floral for my tastes, though..... Once it dries down, it mellows, but it takes quite a while for it to do so.....it is very long-lasting, too.....I am sure that there will be a lot of you who get hooked on this one.....

Site Description: Notes: Vanilla, Creamy Butter, Tunisian Amber and Patchouli Resins, and sweet Winter Preserves. OK.....this one is very nice......liking it very much. On initial application, it smelled almost identical to Autumnal Equinox (which I love)......after it starts to dry, however, it starts to differentiate itself.....very warm, and VERY buttery. As it dries down more, I get the sweetness starting to come through, and a hint of the resinous notes in the background. I am sooooooo glad to have gotten a full bottle of this one.....

OK, trying this one today.....actually, I have 4 different scents on right now, on various sniffing points.... This one suprised me the most. Not really what I expected, but still very nice.....the description on the site says... The scents of Tunisian and Baltic Ambers mix with Indonesian and Sudanese Patchouli - combining with a sexy feminine Musk, and a touch of candied fruits Wet an on initial drydown, this one is very fruity on me. VERY sweet and fruity. After it starts to dry, I get a hint of amber and patchouli, but not much. Not much musk comes through on me, not even after completely dried. This is one that my skin sucked in very quickly. After 2 hours, it is almost completely gone.....a slight hint that MAYBE I was wearing perfume in that spot. This one is nice, but will require re-application....on me, at least. I expected from the description for this one to be a lot darker and deeper......it is still well-done though, as all of the scents here are....

OK, I am soooooo getting a full bottle of this.....I just got my package.....actually, it hadn't been logged in yet, but I had the girl scouring in the back to find it.... I told her it was a VERY VERY important package.....didn't tell her it was perfume.... Dominance.....oh WOW.....it does have a sharp note when wet.....maybe that is the EW peeking through.....we know how sharp that stuff is when wet.... .....but, that sharpness only lasts a few seconds in this mix....as it dries, the chocolate and rose start blooming.....almost competing with each other to be noticed.....like a big red rose dipped in dark chocolate, if you can imagine that......I get a slight hint of coffee and I agree with blupest in that this is not a sweet foody mix......just foody enough, I think......dried down, it is almost all chocolate and rose, but the rose is definitely the most prominent..... I am off to my son's b-ball practice.....I will add more later after it sits for a few hours......

Well, HEY YOU.... great to see you here! I should be getting my sample of it today.....I am due a full bottle of something because I won the most recent posting contest.... If this one smells like I think it will, that will probably be my free bottle.....I DID have to get a full bottle of "Dirty Sexy", just because.....well, you know me....

Thanks for that additional info......I should be getting my pkg with a sample of it tomorrow.....if it is as good as you describe, I will probably immediately be buying a full bottle..... I was wondering about the type of chocolate myself. I like the foody scents, but I have plenty of them already.....was hoping for more of a foody/non-foody balanced type scent......that is why I didn't buy a full bottle right off the bat...... I can attest to what May says about the alpha pheros.....I'm an alpha-type girl myself, and I load them on, also......

I do ok with Dragon's Blood, but numerous florals give me issues.....and I don't know which ones and in which ratios cause the biggest problem.....I just have to try them and see......

Wow. Thanks ladies for reviewing this one......I never did see the first review, which I think was posted before I joined. But, this sounds like something I would really like, being fond of warm ambery-type scents.....

Oh, you should......it's very nice, and it lasts a very long time on my skin.....

I think I have converted a bunch of people......I bought some of the samples to give to my "regular" accounting clients as after-Christmas gifts......I'm giving them out as they come in for their pre tax prep appointments.....at least they are leaving with smiles on their faces.....

Sounds like this one could also be almost a bit dangerous, in the wrong situations......

Thanks for the review on this one, scourger! I kept adding this to my "to try" list, and then I'd cross it off, then I'd add it again, etc etc......kept going back and forth. However, based on your review, it sounds like one that I definiely want to keep on the list! I won't be testing the fertility aspect either.... ......I have had my tubes tied and my love has had a vasectomy......at this point, the playground is open for recreation only!!

Oh I agree.....it CAN be great......but, it can also be horrifying, especially when it comes to what my skin sometimes does.....
