Thank you. I did not know that album took flack for that reason. Even I knew what the C+C stood for and what they had basically done. The two producers recorded songs and brought in whatever talent they needed to do that. As far as music videos go, I just assume they are as close to reality as the X Files. Well, actually I do believe some of the things on X Files might be real, so that is a bad exxample. I guess what does bother me is when they feel compelled to use "prettier" (male or female) singers for videos or touring. You must have heard different songs than I did. I assumed they forgot to do the pitch electronic fixing on their songs I have heard.

@ PM & Luna: That is all very interesting. I did not know that part of the history - esp. the producer's album part. Being an "end user" of music (I either like it or I don't) I do not know all the nuances of the industry. That does seem strange that a "producer's album" was considered bad when a lot of popular bands were backed up by session musicians on their albums - ie. the music was not purely just the band. Some bands have been comprised of individuals who were considered great session musicians also. What is the difference if the producer is a good musician in his own right? Or is it all about being an "artist"? And who defines what that is. ETA: Major threadjack here.

What is this soap and shampoo of which you speak? You mean to say just jumping in the shower every Saturday night is not enough? I have to use those bottles and white bars my wife leaves in there? Actually soap or shampoo you could add your choice of pheromones to would be way cool.

It was a pretty strong mix and though it was outdoors dogs do have sensitive noses. Our cat does that to me all the time. I had friends who had a cat that would stand on my lap and "hug" me, rubbing her cheeks (scent glands) on my cheeks every time I sat down in their house. She was a very sweet cat. She would often come to my house to visit me. She would often be sitting on my front door step waiting for me to get home. She came so often I finally got her a food and water dish and had cat food on hand trying to be a good host. This was in farmland in another country and unfortunately she ate what I think was rat poison somewhere in the neighborhood and died in my garage one weekend. Very very sad.
