androstenol

B2 is the one that is described as a 'calm male presence". They do however contain 3 of the same ingredients: androstadienone, DHEAS, alpha-nol. ( for bonding, youthfulness, superficial chat). B2 then has None and Rone, making it more masculine. BB then has epiandrosterone, beta-THDOC, EST. Men could be reacting positively to the BB because of several of the ingredients. "Angelic face" could be the DHEAS and the EST and the iEnone, for instance, making you seem youthful, someone to be protected, and someone close to them. I may be having the opposite reaction to cutie.pie above. I'm the person always saying that BB does nothing for me....however, that may be UN BB. I used it today in a Scent locket with Patience Potion and made it through my bitchiness/anger/PMS 1 day a month thingeee I get. This could be partly due to the effects of the scented ingredients, which could be substantial. It could also be that I used 3 concentrated drops in my locket, more than I used to with the UN. I will try combining Un BB with another calming scent, but it won't be for another month. That's a long time to wait for an experiment !!

ephoebe, LPMP is not in Vancouver, BC, Canada, but south of there, in Vancouver, Washington State, USA. We have t-shirts that say Vancouver, NOT B.C. Washington, NOT D.C. The other Vancouver is so much more well known, it drives us nutzzzz sometimes.

I keep thinking Broken Doll = Empathy Potion. I keep looking at that label. The juxtaposition of the sadness and beauty just really gets to me. And what sort of scent would go with that ? Something like Feed the Flowers ? Gothy ? Or something surprising....

I use single-use glass cleaner pads from Costco (they come in a huge box, enough for a lifetime supply for an LP'er). The high alcohol content quickly removes most of the scent and pheros. I keep one or two in my purse all the time.

The lovely picture on the front of the bottle is definitely influencing me. I opened this up without knowing the ingredients, next to my daughter. She goes "ewwww that's too fruity for me" wheras I get lost in visions of rubbing my face against hemp. Raw hemp smells amazing. Sweet, a little grassy, grounding. I've gone back in this thread and I seem to be the only one making that association. I'm slowly going through the phero list and meditating on something that would be a good match with this, perhaps Empathy Potion (binding people together). I want to assure myself that this will not get lost in my stash. It's a bit of a sleeper, from what I can tell on the forum.

Thanks for your responses, everyone. It's a little daunting when things affect me differently than the majority. But still quite the adventure ! I think I had my first hit with CB today. I've worn it 3 days in a row now. I was dropping off a box to a fellow LP'er at the post office, and a post-menopausal woman who knows me quite well by sight was serving me. It's usually very business-like, dealing with her. This time, she suddenly got all chatty, I suddenly got feeling very happy/giggly. Whole thing lasted maybe 3 minutes. But it was intense and there was no other reason for her to act this way towards me. I realize I'm far behind on most of you for experimenting with EST. I've been focusing on SWS and Dominance for my job, thinking EST could only work against me. But it does seem to have a power all its own. Call me fascinated. I'm about to embrace a phero that is quintessentially feminine. I like not having to 'steal' mones from the male realm all the time.

Does anyone from the forum use CB specifically before sleep or specifically to reduce anxiety? I'm not talking about the 'crash' some chatted about possibly having back in March/April 2013 on this super long thread. I noticed today that it made my thoughts calm, and sort of 'cuddle' with myself, get into a meditative, relaxed mood. Wondering also if this may help me with PMS, as Balm Bomb does nothing for me. Will definitely try for that in the next few days.

This will be an interesting thread to follow. I am no expert so I will simply answer from my own life. My hubby and I are imprinted on each other (10 plus years marriage). He doesn't see me more or less dominant when I wear Dominance, he doesn't see me as more flirty when I wear Cougar. He does however respond to cops, which his body really has no control over. Pheromones can't fix emotional problems you are having. If you, for example, are shy and awkward at work, then sure a social blend can pave the way. But people are more complex than that, eventually you will have to back it up with a solid foundation of actually being social. I've heard it say that pheros can be a welcome crutch for when you are trying to improve yourself and actually making changes in your behavior. People who have known you a long time will remember your old phero signature, and so this can help them see you in a slightly different light. We still know so little about changing our own body chemistry towards a 'soup' we want. Ultimately, we do seem to be prisoner of our chemistry. A case in point that I like to bring is up me wearing androsterones and androstenones. I'm a woman in my 40ties, most likely I have an ever decreasing phero signature of estrogen, pregnenolone, maybe some epi, probably the androstenols....my testosterone levels will never be high unless I take supplements for that. So if I am in a situation where I want that 'respected/feared guy aura" then I have to reach for that pheromone mix and temporarily give myself a boost. (By the way, LPMP's Dominance potion contains mones much more amenable/similar to a female signature, a fact that I LOVE). So let's say I land a job based partly on my male mone signature, and partly because I've worked my butt off and I'm really actually that good. For a few weeks, I can probably ride on the mones, but people will see beyond that eventually. If I'm soft-spoken, don't speak with confidence, my body language isn't congruent, don't make tough decisions...then eventually people won't see me as the leader I was hired to be. I have no easy answers here. I see mones as a tool, best carefully applied. I am learning and changing into the person I want to be, with the help of the mones, but I need to stay authentic, and I need to do a lot of introspection. And eventually, the true test of whether I have achieved the inner change that I wanted, is to walk in with no pheromones. This is truly a deep subject, one we should all ponder.

Luna, I haven't heard of that one yet It's quite daunting to join LPMP when it's already been going for years, and to catch up on what all the Pheros are, what yumminess has already transpired before I ever got here, ArtFire, wax melts, soaps, body lotions.... and then not to forget about the monthly samplers. And I have to teach my nose what the names are of the things it likes and dislikes (and the dislikes are super odd for me). And to expose myself to scents I would not have thought of, to try to rewire my brain, expand my creativity. You ladies are so awesome in guiding us newbies. Thanks to everyone.

@seajammarket, I can see the SS4W boost, great idea, I'm leaning more towards a LFM boost. I feel very grounded and balanced with this scent, as well as sexy, and I think LFM would complement that beautifully.

My nick here is androstenol because ...my goodness...the first time I tried it I felt like I had had a margarita. Very social, very happy, also aroused. That lasted for about 10 applications (either straight or in Cougar). Now Cougar and Topper still make me feel young, but I don't get the talkactive boost, and straight a-nol does zip for me. That was back around May. I'm hoping by laying off the straight a-nol for a year, I might be able to rehabilitate my receptors. That's the theory anyway. I still get muted selfies from SWS, Dominance, LFM, LFN, and many of the non-pheros such as Naughty Nurse. But seriously, those first few weeks of experimenting with pheros were truly wild. And I can still affect my target audience regardless, so that is a definite bonus.

phergineer, Excellent review. I am looking for a newbie to the boards who lives in the USA to give extra samples to. You might find something that strikes you as a cover scent. Anyway, let me know if you are interested, I would only want the cost of shipping reimbursed.
